云南地区地处青藏高原东南缘, 一直是地球科学研究的热点地区.目前, 一些热点问题, 如云南地区是否存在中下地壳低速流及其空间分布, 仍有一定的争议.通过建立云南地区精细的地壳上地幔速度与各向异性结构, 可为深入认识上述问题提供重要信息.本文利用天然地震波形记录, 采用双台法提取了12~60 s周期的Rayleigh和Love波相速度频散, 并进一步反演获得了云南地区10~100 km的三维地壳上地幔SV和SH波速度及径向各向异性结构.结果表明:S波速度与径向各向异性结构在横向和垂向均存在显著变化.在20~30 km深度, 存在两个低速条带, 且条带内呈现出正径向各向异性(VSH>VSV)特征, 暗示了中下地壳低速物质的水平向运动.在80~100 km深度, 云南西南和东南部显示为低速异常和正径向各向异性特征, 暗示了软流圈物质的水平流动.在云南北部的丽江、攀枝花和昭通地区, 岩石圈地幔中则存在明显的负径向各向异性(VSH<VSV), 可能反映了地幔物质的上涌痕迹.历史强震多发生在地壳低速区域或高低速过渡带, 且地震附近的径向各向异性为负或者较弱.一些地震震源下方存在低速层, 地壳低速层可能会促进强震发生.

Analysis of remedial alternatives of the Nanji Landfill,Korea   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
 This paper presents an analysis of various remedial alternatives for a representative waste disposal site causing serious adverse affects to the surrounding soil and surface and groundwater systems and discusses the application of this approach in a case study. The numerical flow model along with the transport model in three dimensions were utilized to simulate current flow conditions at the site and its vicinity for calibration and to provide the analysis results for various remedial alternatives, such as top capping, vertical barrier, extraction, and hydrodynamic control. While the development of remedial alternatives and the selection of the most effective remedial measures are highly site-specific, the approach and methodology presented in this paper have general applicability. The conditions outlined in this study are used by environmental engineers and planners who incorporated economic and engineering decisions and public acceptance for various remedial measures considered; they also provide insight into the difficulties and special considerations associated with modeling and analyzing remedial alternatives. Grass nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) concentrations are direct indicators of rangeland quality and provide imperative information for sound management of wildlife and livestock. It is challenging to estimate grass N and P concentrations using remote sensing in the savanna ecosystems. These areas are diverse and heterogeneous in soil and plant moisture, soil nutrients, grazing pressures, and human activities. The objective of the study is to test the performance of non-linear partial least squares regression (PLSR) for predicting grass N and P concentrations through integrating in situ hyperspectral remote sensing and environmental variables (climatic, edaphic and topographic). Data were collected along a land use gradient in the greater Kruger National Park region. The data consisted of: (i) in situ-measured hyperspectral spectra, (ii) environmental variables and measured grass N and P concentrations. The hyperspectral variables included published starch, N and protein spectral absorption features, red edge position, narrow-band indices such as simple ratio (SR) and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). The results of the non-linear PLSR were compared to those of conventional linear PLSR. Using non-linear PLSR, integrating in situ hyperspectral and environmental variables yielded the highest grass N and P estimation accuracy (R2 = 0.81, root mean square error (RMSE) = 0.08, and R2 = 0.80, RMSE = 0.03, respectively) as compared to using remote sensing variables only, and conventional PLSR. The study demonstrates the importance of an integrated modeling approach for estimating grass quality which is a crucial effort towards effective management and planning of protected and communal savanna ecosystems.  相似文献

在雷达信号处理器异常、信号受到外部电磁干扰时,雷达会观测到沿径向分布的条幅状干扰回波,这类非气象回波须在雷达估测降水等定量应用之前消除。为适用体扫数据及正在业务推行的单径向流数据,利用2017年7—8月收集的雷达单站PPI数据,针对径向干扰回波,提出一种基于模糊逻辑的识别方法,该方法只提取径向上的特征参量,建立隶属函数和判定阈值,进行识别。通过对算法的评估和业务应用,结果表明:该算法对径向干扰回波和降水回波的识别和消除效果较好,与原业务算法相比,CSI评分提高0.232,能明显提高径向干扰回波的准确识别,略微降低对降水回波的误消除;算法在业务上能够稳定运行,对于定量化应用(降水估测等)具有正贡献。  相似文献

We revisit early models of steady western boundary currents [Gulf Stream, Kuroshio, etc.] to explore the role of irregular coastlines on jets, both to advance the research frontier and to illuminate for education. In the framework of a steady-state, quasigeostrophic model with viscosity, bottom friction and nonlinearity, we prove that rotating a straight coastline, initially parallel to the meridians, significantly thickens the western boundary layer. We analyze an infinitely long, straight channel with arbitrary orientation and bottom friction using an exact solution and singular perturbation theory, and show that the model, though simpler than Stommel's, nevertheless captures both the western boundary jet (“Gulf Stream”) and the “orientation effect”. In the rest of the article, we restrict attention to the Stommel flow (that is, linear and inviscid except for bottom friction) and apply matched asymptotic expansions, radial basis function, Fourier–Chebyshev and Chebyshev–Chebyshev pseudospectral methods to explore the effects of coastal geometry in a variety of non-rectangular domains bounded by a circle, parabolas and squircles. Although our oceans are unabashedly idealized, the narrow spikes, broad jets and stationary points vividly illustrate the power and complexity of coastal control of western boundary layers.  相似文献

本文根据社会调查资料分析了甘肃省河西地区石羊河下游民勤绿洲变化的趋势及其影响 ,进而从用水行为和水量均衡角度讨论了绿洲变化的人文作用机制 ,认为石羊河流域下游绿洲变化与传统农业外延式扩张机制密切相关 ,而传统农业扩张机制由于各种因素的制约在短时期内难以打破。而不打破导致绿洲环境恶化的人文机制 ,任何试图扭转此类地区绿洲环境恶化趋势的措施都可能是无效的。  相似文献

报道由硫酸钠水溶液实验径向分布函数通过理论模型计算,解析溶液结构参数的方法。其中包括建立理论结构模型的基本依据,专用KURLVR程序使用和结构参数最小二乘精修,以及高斯多峰拟合等实用方法,最终给出能够阐述溶液本质的微观结构参数。结果表明,硫酸钠溶液中水合Na+有2个水合层,第一水合层Na+-OH2(I)距离为0.243 nm,配位数6.0;第二水合层距离为0.448 nm,配位数为13.3;SO2-4存在第一水合层,SO2-4-H2O距离为0.374 nm,配位数为9.1;水合硫酸根原子团中氧原子与水分子的作用距离和配位数按OS-W(1)、OS-W(2)、OS-W(3)、OS-W(4),距离依次为0.283、0.322、0.375和0.486 nm,配位数除OS-W(2)为12.9,其余都在8左右;除此之外溶液中还存在NaOSO-3接触离子对,Na-S距离为0.348 nm,配位数0.20,与晶体结构比较证实SO2-4以单齿形式配位到Na+;水共享离子对Na+-W-SO2-4中Na-S距离精修为0.491 nm,配位数0.62。精修的R因子为0.16,表明获得了很好的精修结果。  相似文献

A previous analysis [Improta, L., G. Di Giulio, and A. Rovelli (2005). Variations of local seismic response in Benevento (Southern Italy) using earthquakes and ambient noise recordings, J. Seism. 9, 191–210.] of small magnitude earthquakes recorded at 12 sites within the city of Benevento has stressed the significant role played by near-surface geology in causing variability of the ground motion. In this paper, we extend the study of the seismic response from 12 sites to the entire urban area. Based on inferences from the comparison at the 12 sites between earthquake and ambient vibration results, we have collected ambient noise at about 100 sites within the city, intensifying measurements across the main shallow geological variations. We use borehole data to interpret ambient noise H/V spectral ratios in terms of near-surface geology comparing H/V curves to theoretical transfer functions of 1D models along five well-constrained profiles.

On the basis of geological, geotechnical, and seismic data, we identify three main typologies of seismic response in the city. Each type of response is associated to zones sharing common soil conditions and similar soil classes according to building codes for seismic design. Moreover, we find that the spatial variation of the seismic response in the ancient town area is consistent with the damage pattern produced by a very destructive, well-documented historical earthquake that struck the city in 1688, causing MCS intensity of IX–X in Benevento.

Finally, we use ground motions recorded during the experiment by Improta et al. [Improta, L., G. Di Giulio, and A. Rovelli (2005). Variations of local seismic response in Benevento (Southern Italy) using earthquakes and ambient noise recordings, J. Seism. 9, 191–210.] to generate synthetic seismograms of moderate to strong (Mw 5.7, Molise 2002 and Ms 6.9, 1980 Irpinia) earthquakes. We calibrate the random summation technique by Ordaz et al. [Ordaz, M., J. Arboleda, and S.K. Singh (1995). A scheme of random summation of an Empirical Green's Function to estimate ground motions for future large earthquakes, Bull. Seism. Soc. Am. 85, 1635–1647.] using recordings of these earthquakes available in Benevento. After a satisfactory fit between observed and synthetic seismograms, we compute response spectra at different sites and speculate on effects of the geology class at large level of shaking, including soil nonlinearity. We find that large discrepancies from design spectra prescribed by seismic codes can occur for a wide sector of Benevento, especially for periods < 0.5 s.  相似文献

径向时频峰值滤波算法是一种有效保持低信噪比地震勘探记录中反射同相轴的随机噪声压制方法,但该算法对空间非平稳地震勘探随机噪声压制效果不理想.本文研究空间非平稳地震勘探随机噪声,即各道噪声功率不同的地震勘探随机噪声,其在径向滤波轨线上表征近似脉冲噪声,在径向时频峰值滤波过程中干扰相邻道滤波结果.为了减小空间非平稳随机噪声的影响,本文提出一种基于绝对级差统计量(ROAD)的径向时频峰值滤波随机噪声压制方法.该方法首先根据径向轨线上信号的绝对级差统计量检测空间非平稳地震勘探随机噪声,然后结合局部时频峰值滤波和径向时频峰值滤波压制地震勘探记录中的随机噪声.将ROAD径向时频峰值滤波方法应用于合成记录和实际共炮点地震记录,结果表明ROAD径向时频峰值滤波方法可以压制空间非平稳地震勘探随机噪声且不损害有效信号,有效抑制随机噪声空间非平稳对滤波结果的影响.与径向时频峰值滤波相比,ROAD径向时频峰值滤波方法更适用于空间非平稳地震勘探随机噪声压制.  相似文献
