Helical piles are structural deep foundation elements, which can be categorized as torque-driven piles without any limitations to implement in marine situations. Different methods are used to predict the axial capacity of helical piles, such as static analysis, but have some limitation for this type of piles on marine conditions. In situ testing methods as supplement of static analysis have been rarely used for helical piles. In geotechnical engineering practice, the most common in situ tests particularly applicable for coastal or offshore site investigation are cone penetration test (CPT) and piezocone penetration test (CPTu). The CPT is simple, repeatable, and prepares the continuous records of soil layers. In this paper, a data bank has been compiled by collecting the results of static pile load tests on thirty-seven helical piles in ten different sites including CPT or CPTu data. Axial capacities of thirty-seven helical piles in different sites were predicted by direct CPT methods and static analysis. Accuracy estimation of ten direct CPT methods to predict the axial capacity of helical piles was investigated in this study. Comparisons have been made among predicted values and measured capacity from the pile load tests. Results indicated that the recently developed methods such as NGI-05 (2005), ICP-05 (2005), and UWA-05 (2005) predicted axial capacity of helical piles more accurately than the other methods such as Meyerhof (1983), Schmertmann (1978), Dutch (1979), LCPC (1982), or Unicone (1997). However, more investigations are required to establish better correlation between CPT data and axial capacity of helical piles.  相似文献

华北地区夏季降雨量与南海海温长期变化的关系   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
比较了华北地区7个站与17个站1951-1997年夏季(6,7,8月)降雨量与气候随时间的变化特征,并对其成因作了探讨。结果表明,用北京、天津、邢台、烟台、郑州、太原和济南等7个站可代表该地区夏季降雨量与气候的多尺度变化特征,过去47a该地区依次经历了湿凉、湿热、湿凉、干热、湿热几个时期,降雨量的长期变化与南海前冬(1-2月)海温成负相关。前冬南海海温偏高,意味着初夏南海地区大气对流低频振动偏弱,南海夏季风爆发较晚,西南季风较弱,夏季西太平洋副高位置偏南,华北地区大气低层北风加强,华北地区夏季少雨,前冬南海海温偏低时情况则相反,考虑冬季(1-2月)南海南温和7-8月西太平洋副高脊线位置(纬度)的影响用均生函数建模,试验结果与用子波变换重构方法考虑华北地区夏季降雨量的变化趋势比较,二者相吻合,预测试验结果与过去3a的实况基本一致。  相似文献

This paper has studied the change of streamflow and the impact of climatic variability conditions on regional hydrological cycle in the headwater of the Tarim River Basin. This study investigates possible causes of observed trends in streamflow in an environment which is highly variable in terms of atmospheric conditions, and where snow and ice melt play an important role in the natural hydrological regime. The discharge trends of three head streams have a significant increase trend from 1957 to 2002 with the Mann-Kendall test. Complex time-frequency distributions in the streamflow regime are demonstrated especially by Morlet wavelet analysis over 40 years. The purpose is to ascertain the nature of climatic factors spatial and temporal distribution, involved the use of EOF (Empirical Orthogonal Function) to compare the dominant temperature, precipitation and evaporation patterns from normally climatic records over the Tarim's headwater basin. It shows that the first principal component was dominated since the 1990s for temperature and precipitation, which identifies the significant ascending trend of spatial and temporal pattern characteristics under the condition of the global warming. An exponential correlation is highlighted between surface air temperature and mean river discharge monthly, so the regional runoff increases by 10%-16% when surface air temperature rises by 1 ℃. Results suggest that headwater basins are the most vulnerable environments from the point of view of climate change, because their watershed properties promote runoff feeding by glacier and snow melt water and their fundamental vulnerability to temperature changes affects rainfall, snowfall, and glacier and ice melt.  相似文献

Pile foundations that support transmission towers or offshore structures are dominantly subjected to cyclic lateral load induced by wind and waves. For a successful design, it is crucial to investigate the effect of cyclic lateral loads on the pile behavior that is loaded laterally. Although the py curve method is generally utilized to design the cyclic laterally loaded pile foundations, the effect of cyclic lateral loads on the pile has not been properly implemented with the py curve. This reflects a lack of consideration of the overall stiffness change in soil–pile interaction. To address this, a series of model pile tests were conducted in this study on a preinstalled aluminum flexible pile under various sandy soil conditions. The test results were used to investigate the effect of cyclic lateral loads on the py behavior. The cyclic py curve, which properly takes into account this effect, was developed as a hyperbolic function. Pseudo-static analysis was also conducted with the proposed cyclic py curve, which showed that it was able to properly simulate cyclic laterally loaded pile behavior in sandy soil.  相似文献

现有时空同现模式挖掘方法因其在空间和时间频繁阈值等参数值的设定上存在困难且缺乏客观依据的问题而难以被应用到犯罪地理研究中。为此,本文通过引入时空状态同现模式和最小时空参与率等概念对现有挖掘方法进行了重新建模,并结合广义Grubbs异常值检验提出了一种点模式分布下的犯罪嫌疑人时空同现模式挖掘框架。基于该框架对中国某省部分犯罪嫌疑人的真实移动轨迹数据的实验分析结果表明,本文所提出的方法能够有效地挖掘出嫌疑人间显著的时空同现模式,且这些模式的时空分布特征不仅与犯罪活动易发生在非农业生产区这一共识基本相符,还与日常活动理论的基本观点相适应。本文拓展了时空同现模式挖掘在犯罪地理研究中的应用,研究成果对公安机关等执法部门在重点监控某些犯罪嫌疑人以及合理分配和部署警力资源方面具有重要意义。  相似文献

建立了一种适用于海洋远程快速检测氰化物的检测方法,设计了一体化检测装置,未来可搭载到无人艇上实现自动快速检测。针对最佳检测条件进行了一系列优化,得到最佳检测条件:对于100 mL的待测样品,加入酒石酸固体1.5 g;用1~2滴浓度为150 g/L的碳酸钠溶液浸润苦味酸试纸;加热温度80℃,加热时间10min。在最佳检测条件下,检测检出限达0.3mg/L。该方法实现了适用于海水氰化钠的远程检测,大大提高了检测效率,无需人员进入污染现场,安全性高。可广泛用于海洋危化品泄漏、湖泊污染、现场应急筛选等场合的水体样品快速检测。  相似文献

Considering the current disadvantages of present offshore wind turbine foundations, a novel anchor foundation with skirt and branches is proposed, called offshore umbrella suction anchor foundation (USAF). A series of experiments and numerical simulations were performed to explore the bearing capacity of the USAF under various kinds of loading modes. The bearing characteristics and the anchor–soil interactions are described in detail for horizontal static loading, horizontal cyclic loading, and an antidrawing (pullout) test in silty soil. In the static loading test, the load–deflection of the anchor under step loading was analyzed and the normalized curve of the load–deflection was obtained to determine the ultimate horizontal bearing capacity of the anchor under normal working conditions. Under horizontal cyclic loading, the relationship between the plastic cumulative deformation and cyclic number was determined. In addition, the responses of USAF were investigated for a low wave frequency and storm surges. In the drawing test, it was found that a “segmentation phenomenon” occurred during the test. Moreover, a method to identify the maximum antidrawing load of USAF was provided based on dynamic mechanics. The numerical results show that the use of anchor branches and skirt can enhance the bearing performance of USAF to a certain degree. However, the anchor branch has a slight positive influence on the bearing performance improvement. The USAF is not only similar to a stiff short pile, but a rotation occurs. The failure envelope under composite loading (V-M) was obtained and the changes associated with changes in the aspect ratio of the internal compartment were clarified.  相似文献

韩国世越号打捞是世界上首次利用托底钢梁原状态整体起吊难船出水的工程。客滚难船装载的货物容易在沉没后发生移位,上层建筑长时间沉没海底后发生泥沙淤积导致难以准确估计整船的重量重心及浮力浮心的位置。利用水池模型试验和数值计算两种方法分别对大型浮吊船单臂架打捞法和双驳船抬吊打捞法进行了难船姿态受重心位置偏移的敏感性分析。水池模型试验中发现,用大型浮吊船单臂架打捞法,世越号的姿态受其重心位置偏移非常敏感,容易发生侧翻;而用双驳船抬吊打捞法,世越号的姿态受其重心位置的影响非常有限,难船和抬浮驳船都可以保持一个较好的姿态。对比水池模型试验的结果,由于难以计及托底钢梁的翘动和滑动现象,数值计算中得到的难船起吊姿态值偏小。双驳船抬吊打捞法被选为打捞世越号的施工方案,其对难船重心位置偏移不敏感的特性得到了现场实证。这个特点为世越号的成功打捞出水起到了关键作用。  相似文献

搜集并整理武汉主城区地震安全性评价控制性钻孔SPT-N资料,配合武汉市地震动参数小区划成果,采用规范法对各场地土层在罕遇地震作用下液化可能性进行判别。以液化指数作为分区指标并结合各场地坐标,绘制武汉主城区液化潜能分区图。分区图初步预测了罕遇地震发生以后,可能发生液化的区域及其严重性,且表明无论是分布面积还是液化潜能,长江右岸均大于长江左岸。通过与4次历史大震液化资料的对比分析,武汉主城区可能液化场地具有地下水位埋深浅、液化土层分布范围广、埋藏深度大的特点。  相似文献

利用1998—2008年SPOT/VEGETATION逐旬共372期归一化植被指数时间序列影像数据,引入Mann-Kendall非参数趋势检验方法,分析了胶东半岛最近10 a来的归一化植被指数变化趋势。结果表明,最近10 a来,胶东半岛归一化植被指数变化趋势以衰减区域居主导地位,其中有明显衰减变化趋势的区域占半岛总面积的19.3%,有明显增强变化趋势的区域仅占半岛总面积的2.8%。归一化植被指数衰减区域在空间上沿海岸线呈环状分布,从沿海岸到远离海岸,归一化植被指数增强趋势逐渐明显,衰减最明显的区域大部分位于半岛沿海30 km以内,植被增强趋势最明显区域位于半岛中部山地及沿海防护林地区。人类活动及其空间分布是归一化植被指数变化的主要因素,其中沿海城市化、工业化和海岸湿地开发利用程度的提高导致归一化植被指数衰减,而山地植被保护和海岸防护林建设导致归一化植被指数增强。  相似文献
