Since we find out that the global spectral model with trapezoidal truncation has higher resolution inhigh latitudes(polar cap)than in low latitudes,this paper presents a global spectral model with variablepoles which can be located at the center of interested area.The transform methods from traditional globalspectral model to the new model are given and applied to a shallow-water equation model.The control ex-periments for 72h predictions were carried out.The“northern pole”in the transformed model was locatedat 15°N, 135°E.And the results showed that the predictions of weather systems in the area around the“newpole”(the polar cap,latitudes >60°)were better than those by the traditional model and the root mean squareerrors were improved. 相似文献

柬埔寨王国位于低纬度地区,地质勘查程度较低,地面高精度磁测技术能够快速获取磁异常信息,进行找矿评价。在低纬度地区磁化方向主要以水平磁化为主,磁性体产生的磁异常以负磁异常为主。本文通过对柬埔寨王国Mesam金矿磁测数据进行倒相180°、化赤和低纬度化极处理对比,认为三种处理方法得到的结果都能够完整地反映磁场分布特点,在不能忽略剩磁影响的低纬度地区对实测数据进行低纬度化极后再进行解释更加贴近真实且细节更加丰富。通过对低纬度化极后的磁异常进行水平总梯度模和小波多尺度分解计算等位场异常处理,认为磁异常水平总梯度模计算能够较好地反映深部地质体的边界范围,小波多尺度分解计算能够提取特定深度地质体的空间信息,在该区选取的磁异常处理技术是有效的,为进一步扩大该金矿区远景储量提供了新的思路。 相似文献

A distinctive terrain named cryptic region which is characterized by regions of low albedo and low temperature has been identified on the Martian south polar cap. In this zone, many fan- and spider-shaped features of km-scale appeared following the sublimation of the CO2 frost layer. These peculiar features were apparently caused by a wind-blown system of dust-laden jets. During the warming period starting at Ls∼180°, the seasonal ice cap regresses and fans and spiders appear in sequence. These surface features are repeatable events that tend to occupy the same areas from year to year. In this study, we use the Mars Orbiter camera (MOC) narrow-angle images to produce a statistical study of the time distributions of the fans and spiders as functions of Ls and as functions of the topography. The time variations and spatial distributions of these features are further correlated with the CO2 ice coverage measured by the Mars Orbiter laser altimeter (MOLA) instrument. We have documented that most of the fans are found in the early spring with Ls<230° and the fans and spiders coexist at Ls=250°±20°. It is also found that there is a strong dependence on latitude and altitude with fans and spiders most often observed at high latitude (>83°S) and high altitude (>2500 m). Our statistical result also indicates that the occurrence of fans is highly correlated with the thickness of the CO2 frost thus providing support for the venting model. 相似文献

The view of the Earth’s polar motion as a completely deterministic process has been called into question in the past decades, because no long-term prediction can be made. At the same time, no fundamental restrictions currently exist in the problem of a long-term prediction of the Earth’s rotation. Determining the boundaries of predictability is related to identifying the regime of the Earth’s polar motion. IERS data for the period 1962–2007 have been used to study the regime of the Earth’s polar motion. Analysis of the plots of polhodes reveals peculiarities in the variations of the pole’s coordinates X and Y in certain intervals along the time axis. The data in the interval from 2003 to 2006 have been analyzed in greatest detail: a model for the Chandler and annual oscillations has been constructed and relations between the parameters of these oscillations have been determined; the shift of the instantaneous pole on the phase plane and the Poincare plane has been investigated. As a result, we have found features inherent in chaotic motion (intermittency) and calculated the period (32 years) of the possible repetitions of such anomalies, as confirmed by our analysis of the plots of polhodes. The intervals where the peculiarities in the motion of the Earth’s instantaneous pole manifest themselves are compared with the intervals of the inflections on the plots of variations in the length of the day (LOD). 相似文献
