Studies of Daphnia distribution and function could help people manage and protect water quality. We investigated how spatial distribution and filtering efficiency of Daphnia in the transition and lacustrine zones of the Nanwan Reservoir (China). Samplings were conducted seasonally for 2 years from six sites in the reservoir. Daphnia abundance and biomass were significantly higher in the lacustrine zone than in the transition zone. Similar composition and biomass of edible phytoplankton were found in the two zones, suggesting that food quantity could not explain high Daphnia distribution in the lacustrine zone. The variations of water velocity and food quality could help explaining Daphnia patchy distribution in the reservoir. On the one hand, rapid water velocity can cause the Daphnia decrement in the transition zone. On the other hand, the ratio of particulate organic carbon (POC) to chlorophyll a (chl a) concentration was significantly higher in the transition zone, indicating more allochthonous material constituted the food source for Daphnia. The lower quality food likely suppressed Daphnia development in the transition zone. A linear regression between Daphnia abundance and Secchi depth (SD) may suggest a cause-effect relationship where increased filtering efficiency was responsible for increased water clarity to some extent. 相似文献

元胞自动机(CA) 被越来越多地用于复杂系统的模拟中。许多地理现象的演变与其影响要素之间存在着复杂的关系, 并往往具有时空动态性。在研究区域较大和模拟时间较长时, 定义具体的规则来反映这种复杂关系有较大的困难。为了解决CA 转换规则获取的瓶颈问题, 提出了基于案例推理(CBR) 的CA 模型, 并对CBR 的k 近邻算法进行了改进, 使其能反映转换规则的时空动态性。将该模型应用于大区域的珠江三角洲城市演变中。实验结果显示, 其模拟的空间格局与实际情况吻合较好。与常规的基于Logistic 的CA 模型进行了对比, 所获得的模拟结果有更高的精度和更接近实际的空间格局, 特别在模拟较为复杂的区域时有更好的模拟效果。 相似文献

为了阐明南海由陆向洋的过渡带内构造活动的时间 空间迁移过程,本文以两条跨南海东部共轭被动陆缘和南海西南部共轭陆缘的两条长剖面为基础,进行精细的构造解释和分析,在南海洋陆转换带内确定了出Tb、SD、PD和Bi四个一级层序界面,并以这4个一层序界面为界,将南海陆缘划分为:早期断陷盆地(Tb—SD)、晚期拆离盆地(SD—PD)和断坳转换盆地(PD—Bi)。通过对同一剖面不同构造单元带内同构造地层的分析,发现构造活动时代由陆向洋逐渐变年轻;通过对比不同剖面同一构造单元带内的同构造地层发现,构造活动时代沿着海底扩张迁移的方向逐渐变年轻。因此,在南海扩张期间,岩石圈的伸展变形不仅表现为向洋方向的迁移,同时表现为向海底扩张方向的迁移。 相似文献

Explicitly identifying the spatial distribution of ecological transition zones(ETZs) and simulating their response to climate scenarios is of significance in understanding the response and feedback of ecosystems to global climate change. In this study, a quantitative spatial identification method was developed to assess ETZ distribution in terms of the improved Holdridge life zone(iHLZ) model. Based on climate observations collected from 782 weather stations in China in the T0(1981–2010) period, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(IPCC CMIP5) RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5 climate scenario data in the T1(2011–2040), T2(2041–2070), and T3(2071–2100) periods, the spatial distribution of ETZs and their response to climate scenarios in China were simulated in the four periods of T0, T1, T2, and T3. Additionally, a spatial shift of mean center model was developed to quantitatively calculate the shift direction and distance of each ETZ type during the periods from T0 to T3. The simulated results revealed 41 ETZ types in China, accounting for 18% of the whole land area. Cold temperate grassland/humid forest and warm temperate arid forest(564,238.5 km~2), cold temperate humid forest and warm temperate arid/humid forest(566,549.75 km~2), and north humid/humid forest and cold temperate humid forest(525,750.25 km~2) were the main ETZ types, accounting for 35% of the total ETZ area in China. Between 2010 and 2100, the area of cold temperate desert shrub and warm temperate desert shrub/thorn steppe ETZs were projected to increase at a rate of 4% per decade, which represented an increase of 3604.2, 10063.1, and 17,242 km~2 per decade under the RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5 scenarios, respectively. The cold ETZ was projected to transform to the warm humid ETZ in the future. The average shift distance of the mean center in the north wet forest and cold temperate desert shrub/thorn grassland ETZs was generally larger than that of other ETZs, with the mean center moving to the northeast and the shift distance being more than 150 km during the periods from T0 to T3.In addition, with a gradual increase of temperature and precipitation, the ETZs in northern China displayed a shifting northward trend, while the area of ETZs in southern China decreased gradually, and their mean center moved to high-altitude areas. Iron pressurized to 60 gigapascal (GPa) was heated with laser up to temperatures of over 2200 K. The structural changes were
determined in-situ using third generation synchrotron X-ray source; the changes were recorded on an imaging plate with a monochromatic beam.
The results strongly support the existence of a phase transformation of the hexagonal close-packed (hcp) structure to the
new polymorph (β-phase of iron) at high pressure and temperature. We interpret the X-ray data as belonging to the double hexagonal
close-packed (dhcp) structure distorted by stress due to laser heating.

利用经过改变用于长期数值预报的CCM1(R15L7)模式以1975年1月16日00Z模式适应场为初始场积分5个月,研究南极威德尔海附近(60°W~30°E)海冰的面积异常对东亚初夏环流转换季节的影响.发现当南极海冰偏多时,在亚洲北部冷空气活动在初夏仍然很多,势力还很强,东亚南北两支急流分支仍很明显,各种环流特征更偏向于冬季型,不利于东亚初夏的环流季节转换.海冰异常偏少时则相反,亚洲北部的冷空气活动明显减弱,南方暖气流势力明显加强北移,东亚的两支急流也趋于合并北抬,环流形势更接近于夏季型,海冰的减少促进了东亚初夏的环流季节转换过程. 相似文献
