岩体地区地质灾害的发生和发展取决于岩石细观组分的运动学行为。研究岩石运动学行为时通常将岩石作为整体研究对象较多,而直接以细观组分为对象的研究较少。以石灰岩为例,根据室内试验获得的岩石力学性质指标,使用基于非连续介质理论的颗粒流方法,将材料离散成刚性颗粒组成的模型,把颗粒细观变化与宏观力学特性联系起来,建立了石灰岩的细观结构模型,获得了颗粒接触力、颗粒接触模量、接触连接强度和连接刚度比等细观力学参数。由于文中直接以细观成分为研究对象、反映了岩石和岩体组成的本质特点,所得结论不仅对含裂隙岩石本构关系研究具有广阔的应用前景,而且对岩体工程性质和地质灾害机制研究也具有重要的理论意义。  相似文献

沉积黄铁矿的地球化学是认识重金属汇、矿床金属来源、古海洋化学及环境条件的重要途径。巢湖北郊凤凰山上石炭统黄龙组至下二叠统栖霞组臭灰岩段揭露良好,臭灰岩中黄铁矿结核普遍,集中产出于碳质页岩上2~3 m的沥青质灰岩中,其地球化学特征及成因不清。为查明黄铁矿结核的地球化学特征,分析臭灰岩段的沉积环境,推断早二叠世早期古环境演化,厘清碎屑岩段与臭灰岩的关系,从该剖面采集10个黄铁矿结核和灰岩样品,采用偏光显微镜、X射线荧光光谱仪和电感耦合等离子体质谱仪分析测试其矿物成分和主微量元素组成。结果表明:凤凰山下二叠统栖霞组臭灰岩段下部普遍发育的黄铁矿结核呈块状和微晶粒状,与灰岩界线清晰,并未切割或破坏有机质纹层,为成岩孔隙水交代生物而成。臭灰岩中SO3和Fe2O3显著富集,分别与高含量有机质和与下伏碎屑岩段一致的陆源供应有关。与上陆壳相比,臭灰岩中Se、Mo和Cd富集,黄铁矿结核中Cr、Ni、As、Se、Mo、Cd、Sb和Hg富集。碎屑岩- 臭灰岩的岩性组合、黄铁矿结核的分布范围及其主微量元素地球化学特征均表明臭灰岩和黄铁矿结核沉积于受部分陆源物质影响的稳定大陆边缘缺氧强还原海相环境。  相似文献

Abstract   The lithology of shallow-water carbonates collected from 19 sites on 16 seamounts in six areas of the northwestern Pacific Ocean using the Deep-sea Boring Machine System are described. The areas include the Amami Plateau, Daito Ridge, Oki-Daito Ridge, Urdaneta Plateau, Kyushu-Palau Ridge and Ogasawara Plateau. Chronological constraint is provided by calcareous nannofossil biostratigraphy, planktonic foraminiferal biostratigraphy, larger foraminiferal biostratigraphy and strontium (Sr) isotope stratigraphy. Large amounts of shallow-water carbonates accumulated on the seamounts during the Oligocene, a relatively cool period, whereas limited carbonate deposits formed during the Early Miocene, a relatively warm period. This might indicate that deposition of shallow-water carbonates on seamounts in the northwestern Pacific Ocean was not necessarily controlled by climatic conditions, but was related to volcanism and tectonics that served as foundations for reef/carbonate-platform formation. Remarkable differences in biotic composition exist between Cretaceous and Cenozoic shallow-water carbonates. Late Cretaceous shallow-water carbonates are distinguished by the occurrence of rudists, solenoporacean algae and microencrusters. Middle Eocene to Early Oligocene shallow-water carbonates are dominated by Halimeda or nummulitid and discocyclinid larger foraminifers. Scleractinian corals became common from the Oligocene onward. Nongeniculate coralline algae and larger foraminifers were common to abundant throughout the Eocene to the Pleistocene. The replacement of major carbonate producers in the shallow-water carbonate factory during post-Cretaceous time is in accordance with previous studies and is considered to reflect a shift in seawater chemistry.  相似文献

 Acid mine drainage (AMD) from abandoned underground mines significantly impairs water quality in the Jones Branch watershed in McCreary Co., Kentucky, USA. A 1022-m2 surface-flow wetland was constructed in 1989 to reduce the AMD effects, however, the system failed after six months due to insufficient utilization of the treatment area, inadequate alkalinity production and metal overloading. In an attempt to improve treatment efficiencies, a renovation project was designed incorporating two anoxic limestone drains (ALDs) and a series of anaerobic subsurface drains that promote vertical flow of mine water through a successive alkalinity producing system (SAPS) of limestone beds overlain by organic compost. Analytical results from the 19-month post-renovation period are very encouraging. Mean iron concentrations have decreased from 787 to 39 mg l–1, pH increased from 3.38 to 6.46 and acidity has been reduced from 2244 to 199 mg l–1 (CaCO3 equivalent). Mass removal rates averaged 98% for Al, 95% for Fe, 94% for acidity, 55% for sulfate and 49% for Mn during the study period. The results indicate that increased alkalinity production from limestone dissolution and longer residence time have contributed to sufficient buffering and metal retention. The combination of ALDs and SAPS technologies used in the renovation and the sequence in which they were implemented within the wetland system proved to be an adequate and very promising design for the treatment of this and other sources of high metal load AMD. 灰岩-泥灰岩韵律层包括结核状灰岩到灰岩和泥灰岩互层,广泛分布在陆棚及深海环境中,出现于各地质时期,是研究高分辨率地层学和环境恢复的理想工具.但是成岩作用在灰岩-泥灰岩韵律层形成过程中的作用一直存在分歧,有的学者认为差异化学压实成岩作用加强了原始沉积的差异,有的学者认为成岩作用不仅能够强烈歪曲原始环境特征,还可以通过自身成岩作用形成与原始沉积特征类似的现象.灰岩-泥灰岩韵律层中的差异成岩作用是指泥灰岩中的不稳定碳酸盐矿物在海底成岩环境中经过溶解、迁移和在灰岩中再沉淀,导致灰岩层没有明显被压实,而泥灰岩层受到明显压实.本文重点评述了差异成岩作用发生的环境和过程,并对与之相关的胶结物来源问题和有机质在早期成岩过程中的作用进行了讨论.并以华南中二叠统栖霞组韵律层为例,探讨了差异成岩作用在其形成过程中的作用,最后对以后的研究方向进行了展望.  相似文献

晋城矿区15#煤直接顶K2石灰岩厚8~12 m,结构致密坚硬,为坚硬难垮落顶板。针对厚层石灰岩顶板可能面临的大面积断裂和垮落,从而导致冲击地压等问题,通过岩石力学性质试验获得相关岩层力学参数,并运用关键层理论、数值模拟和相似材料模型试验,研究了厚层脆韧性石灰岩顶板的变形与垮落特性,得到了顶板初次来压步距20~25 m和周期来压步距10~15 m及垮落规律,并提出了顶板控制的技术途径,即初期中深孔爆破结合顶板关键层缓慢下沉综合控制技术。实践表明,厚层石灰岩顶板的垮落形态和垮落步距与理论和试验研究结果基本一致。该项成果为晋城矿区厚层脆韧性石灰岩顶板控制提供了有效途径。  相似文献

The re-interpretation of surface karst landforms in Northern England has led to a re-examination of well-known erratic-pedestal sites that were the origin for karst denudation rates applied extensively, on the supposition that erratics protect underlying limestone from rainwater solution. Height of the pedestal has been used to calculate long-term solutional-lowering, as much as 50 cm in 15 ka (33.3 mm/ka) from UK sites. The sites include Norber and Scar Close, Yorkshire, UK. This paper shows that the sites have been misinterpreted, in particular at Norber where the erratics lie on a pre-existing structurally stepped surface. Norber and several other sites also experience much mechanical weathering, in relatively weak, well-fractured limestones, a process which must be distinguished from solution. Sites in strong, less-fractured limestones demonstrate lower rates, which are sounder indications of land surface lowering. Some pedestals have been confirmed as partly resulting from solutional weathering in surrounding soil and vegetation. Re-evaluation reduces solution rates to 3–13 cm in 15 ka. Applying such rates has profound implications for understanding limestone landscapes, challenging orthodox views.  相似文献
