This paper deals with the uplift mechanism and the uplift form of Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet) plateau and the deformation regularity of its surrounding region caused by this uplifting. It is shown that the insertion of Indian plate with the wedge-like frontal margin beneath Qinghai-Xizang plateau made the plateau compressed and uplifted; at same time along several pre-existing large faults, striking NE and NW, the strike-slip movement took place. 1927年古浪8级地震是继1920年海原8.5级地震之后发生在海原一祁连山断裂带上的另一次特大地震。对这次地震的破裂习性,前人的研究结果存在较大分歧。本文在多探槽揭露和地面追踪调查基础上,结合相关的历史资料分析后,认为本次地震是由构成古浪推覆体的天桥沟一黄羊川断裂、皇城双塔断裂冬青顶断裂段以及武威一天祝隐伏断裂等共同作用的结果。对古浪推覆体平面和剖面变形机制的有限元数值模拟结果显示,其应力和应变的集中区主要分布在天桥沟一黄羊川断裂西段、皇城一双塔断裂冬青顶一带以及武威一天祝隐伏断裂和古浪一双塔断裂所在的古浪峡一带,这与地震地表破裂带的展布是一致的,同时也进一步说明了1927年古浪8级地震是该推覆体整体活动的结果。  相似文献

The Henchir El Yahoudia landfill is one among many uncontrolled dumping sites in Tunisia with no bottom liner. It is located at the southeastern edge of Sijoumi Sebkha. The site has been exploited since 1963 until 1994. It constitutes a peculiar case because of its situation, its exploitation mode and the nature of buried wastes. Leachate analysis shows that they are strongly charged with nitrogen (especially ammoniacal and kadjedahl), organic compounds with a high biodegradability and a charge of metallic elements exceeding the Tunisian norm NT 106-002. Sediment analyses show that the highest rate of heavy metals and organic matter coincides with clay-richest layers, characterized by the highest specific-surface values. The percolation of these pollutants until the groundwater between 0.5 and 5 m has provoked a pollution characterized by high rates of organic matter (BOD, COD and nitrogen) and heavy metals. A Nappe system south to southwest of the São Francisco Craton represents the southern extension of the Brasília belt and describes an inverted metamorphic pile of greenschist facies toward amphibolite facies. The Aiuruoca-Andrelândia nappe is one of the nappes of this system. The hind portion of the Aiuruoca-Andrelândia nappe, south of Caxambu and Aiuruoca (MG), consists of a structural-metamorphic domain transported toward the E-NE. There is a metamorphic transition, from the kyanite zone to kyanite and sillimanite coexistence, until the sillimanite zone. Metapelitic rocks preserve high-pressure parageneses (Rt–Ky–Grt–Ms–Bt–Pl–Qtz) and contain retrograde eclogitic rocks. Sil–Pl–Qtz coronitic intergrowths around garnets are common decompressive textures. Kyanite schists register the Pmax of 11 kbar at 660 °C and define a decompressive path until 6–7.5 kbar at 650 °C. These PT conditions represent the equilibrium in S2 schistosity (amphibolite facies) and the beginning of the cooling path in the Ky–Sil transition. The decompressive path suggests an extrusional process, immediately after burying at about 60 km. Exhumation controlled by convergent events, related to the São Francisco Plate subduction and tectonic erosion, took these units, isothermally, to higher levels (20–33 km). Later, the metamorphic path shifted toward near-isobaric cooling.  相似文献

Late Cretaceous structures within the eastern Graz Paleozoic Nappe Complex define an extruding wedge with north-eastward directed thrusting in eastern portions and strike-slip shear along the margins. Stacking structures are overprinted by south-westward directed extension with low-grade metamorphic rocks in the hangingwall and high-grade basement rocks in the footwall. Pressure–temperature and structural data are obtained from successively opening quartz veins that record various stages of progressive deformation and metamorphism. Fluid inclusion data and related structures show that during extension isothermal decompression from ca. 550°C and 8 kbar down to ca. 450°C and 2 kbar was related to exhumation of rocks from deep crustal levels. The data point to a high geothermal gradient and explain condensed paleo-isotherms due to ductile normal faulting in the eastern areas of the Graz Paleozoic Nappe Complex. The investigated Late Cretaceous structural elements suggest that the Graz Paleozoic Nappe Complex decoupled from the surrounding basement units and operated as a large-scale extension–extrusion corridor that evolved prior to Miocene extrusion tectonics in the Eastern Alps.  相似文献

Abstract

In the Oman mountains, a succession of sedimentary decollement nappes, the Hawasina nappes, is sandwiched between the Samail ophiolite nappe and its underlying melange and the “autochthonous” sequences of the Arabian platform. The sediments of the Hawasina nappes document the Mesozoic evolution of the northeastern Arabian continental margin and the adjacent Tethys Ocean. In earlier paleogeographic reconstructions, based on simple telescoping of the tectonic units, the upper Hawasina nappes represent the distal part and the lower nappes the proximal part of the margin. New stratigraphic data suggest a revision of the paleogeography and a more complex model for nappe emplacement in the central Oman mountains. The lower Hawasina nappes with their Jurassic and Cretaceous base of slope and basin sediments (Hamrat Duru, Wahrah) form the original cover of part of the upper Hawasina nappes. In the latter (Al Ayn, Haliw), Triassic pelagic sediments, locally overlain by massive sandstone successions are preserved. Complete Mesozoic sequences with pelagic Cenomanian sediments as youngest dated elements are found in the highest Hawasina units (Al Aridh and Oman Exotics). The stratigraphic data indicate polyphase thrusting in the central Oman mountains. Downward propagation of thrusting in front of the Samail is responsible for cutting the original stratigraphie sequence into a number of thrust-sheets, involving successively older and more external formations. This kind of thrust propagation eventually leads to the observed superposition of originally lower stratigraphie units onto their original cover. Regional deformation of the nappe contacts in post-nappe culminations (J. Akhdar, Saih Hatat) is related to ramp-flat-systems in the Arabian foreland.  相似文献

我国西南怒江、澜沧江、金沙江——红河流域通称三江地区.本课题属“西南三江地区大地构造问题及其与成矿关系的研究”二级课题的卫星遥感影像研究部分,利用遥感研究成果综论和探讨三江地区的构造特征.使用的遥感资料是美国第四号陆地卫星影像磁带所处理1/100万和1/50万假彩色MSS图像,其图像质量较好.另在丁青—泸水地段还进行了计算机多功能的处理(成图6幅),效果亦较好.专题共作有卫星影像彩色图片19幅,编缩了相应比例尺的构造解译图(24幅).通过卫星影像的解译和研究,综论了三江地区断裂构造的总格局,由5条主干断裂(一级断裂)组成一个NNW向中部紧缩狭窄,而向北、南部撒开的“哑铃棒状”格局.与主断裂紧密相伴的还有约30条呈NNW—NW向展布的二级和三级断裂以及为数不少的、规模大小各异的环状—似环状构造、推覆构造.还有15条活动断裂分布其间,组成了一幅极为复杂多变,但内容又十分丰富的构造景观.本文不仅对三江地区总格局作了阐述,还分别对主干断裂、二~三级断裂、活动断裂、环状—似环状构造、推覆构造等的影像标志、展布特征及相互关系都作了探讨,并讨论了三江地区断裂构造格局中几个争议较大的问题,还对遥感技术手段及其各种资料对本区构造研究效果作了综述.  相似文献

In the Alpine Corsica (France), the Santa Lucia Nappe represents a peculiar unit preserving the unique relicts of Paleozoic lower to medium continental crust. It consists of composite basement affected by Permian granulite facies metamorphic conditions unconformably covered by a Late Cretaceous clastic sequence (Tomboni Conglomerate and Tralonca Flysch) affected by polyphase deformation and low-grade-metamorphism. In this work, we present a new reconstruction of the deformation events registered by the Tralonca Flysch during the Alpine orogeny. The D1 phase was testified by rare isoclinal folds. The D2 phase produced a continuous foliation and a map-scale sheath-fold with a top-to-W sense of shear. The D3 phase produced E-verging non-cylindrical folds and S3 crenulation cleavage that is not associated to metamorphic blastesis. We present the first temperature-pressure-deformation (P-T-d) path for the Tralonca Flysch, demonstrating that the Santa Lucia Nappe underwent accretion and then first stage exhumation in the Alpine wedge during the D1 phase with pressure and temperature peaks both occurred under blueschist metamorphic conditions. The D2 phase occurred at lower pressure-temperature conditions during a second stage exhumation. This pressure-temperature-deformation path is comparable with those of the Lower Units (i.e., the subducted continental units of Alpine Corsica) suggesting a common geodynamic history.  相似文献
