前人研究认为,在长江下游地区绰墩农业遗址的全新世地层中存在2个古水稻土层,但到目前为止尚缺乏土壤化学和物理学方面的证据。为了寻找土壤学证据,在江苏省昆山市绰墩遗址P-01垂直剖面中连续采集了12个样品,分别测定了全氮(TN)含量、总有机碳 (TOC) 含量、粒度组成、质量磁化率以及粘土矿物组成。结果显示,从剖面底部(200cm)到100cm处和从57cm处到现代土壤表层,TOC,TN,TOC/TN比值、高岭石含量以及高岭石/伊利石(K/I)比值两次出现逐渐升高的趋势,而且它们的曲线形态基本一致。这些特点有可能说明P-01剖面中包含着两次成壤过程:第1次形成了古土壤层(160~100cm),第2次形成了现代水稻土(57cm~现代土壤表层)。但TOC和TN以及水稻植硅石资料不支持在深度57~42cm段存在古土壤的观点。从200cm到130cm处,磁化率和粘粒含量有逐渐降低的趋势,说明此处具有长期淹水的特征。现代水稻土的研究表明,水稻田排水过程中可能使部分粘粒被带走流失。因此,粘粒含量从200cm到130cm处逐渐降低的趋势可能与中全新世的人工排水有关。研究资料与考古学、孢粉学和植硅体资料共同说明,该古土壤层(160~100cm)很可能是古水稻土。古水稻土的确认将为农业考古和古环境变化研究提供有利的条件。 相似文献

There exists an E-W trending Middle Jurassic volcanic zone in southern China. The Fankeng basalts in the Yongding basin of Fujian Province are considered to be a typical example. The Fankeng basalts have TiO2 contents in the range of 1.92%-3.21%. They are classified as high-Ti basalts. They also have higher total Fe (averaging FeO* = 11.09%). The Middle Jurassic Fankeng basalts from southwestern Fujian have obvious distinctive lithogeochemical features from early Cre- taceous basalts from southeastern coast of China. They have higher HFSE, such as Th, Nb, Ta, Zr and Ti. Their element ratios related with HFSE, such as Zr/Ba, La/Nb, La/Ta ,Zr/Y, Ti/Y, Ba/Nb, K/Ti and Rb/Zr are similar to those of OIB. The most samples have ε Nd(T) of-0.70-0.24, which are near chondrite. Some samples have higher ε Nd(T) of 1.87-3.55.Therefore, these basaltic magmas might be derived from depleted asthenospheric mantle. The lithogeochemical characteristics of the Fankeng basalts may be caused by interaction between asthenosphere and lithosphere at the time. The (Early-) Middle Jurassic basalts and gabbros from southeastern Hunan, southern Jiangxi and northern Guangdong provinces show similar geochemical features to those of the Fankeng basalts from the Yongding of Fujian. Occurrence of these OIB-type basalts in the area may be regarded as the petrological mark of upwelling of asthenosphere at the time. In the Middle East, dust storms are a persistent problem and can be easily inhaled into the mouth, nasal pharynx, and lungs due to their small size and abundance. The acute and chronic effects from exposure to this dust have not been well studied nor has the dust been characterized as to its chemical composition, mineral content, or microbial flora. Experiments were designed to study the Middle East dust as to its physical, chemical, and biological characteristics. Kuwaiti and Iraqi dust samples from different locations were collected and processed. Borehole 2506 drilled in the northern area of the Arkhangelsk Oblast penetrated through the Paleozoic sedimentary block isolated in the Vendian thick sequence. A diverse acritarch assemblage has been established within the depth interval of 119.9–217.5 m. The assemblage comprises more than 70 taxa, including species characteristic of the boundary interval between the Volkhov and Kunda horizons of the East European Platform (the graptolite Didymograptus hirundo Zone). Stratigraphic position of host deposits was established within the Darriwilian Stage of the Middle Ordovician. The described assemblage of microphytofossils is similar to coeval assemblages from NW Russia, Baltic region, and Scandinavia, being typical of the Baltic phytoplankton province of temperate latitudes. A great number of species in common suggests that the assemblage under consideration is correlative with coeval assemblages of southern China thus offering a possibility of remote correlation. 相似文献

管帅盆地是郯庐断裂中段产出受左阶式走滑断裂控制的白垩纪盆地。该盆地长约30km,宽15km,具长宽比近于2:1的菱形构造格架。盆地内白垩纪王氏群的沉积时代为距今116~73Ma,总沉积厚度>3470m,沉积速率>80cm/103a;主体以冲积扇相—河流湖泊相沉积为主;同沉积构造发育,沉积相变剧烈,沉积中心侧向迁移特征明显,并与边界断裂的走滑效应具有一致性,具有拉分盆地典型的构造背景、构造格架及沉积特征。确定管帅盆地为郯庐断裂白垩纪走滑过程中形成的拉分盆地,并在此基础上分析了郯庐断裂左阶式走滑活动的构造特征及其对管帅拉分盆地的控制作用。 相似文献

The Maggol Limestone of Ordovician age was deposited in the Taebaeksan (Taebacksan) Basin which occupies the northeastern flank of the Okcheon (Ogcheon) Belt of South Korea. Carbonate facies analysis in conjunction with conodont biostratigraphy suggests that an overall regression toward the top of the Maggol Limestone probably culminated in subaerial exposure of platform carbonates in the early Middle Ordovician (earliest Darriwilian). Elsewhere this subaerial exposure event is manifested as a major paleokarst unconformity at the Sauk-Tippecanoe sequence boundary beneath the Middle Ordovician succession and its equivalents, most in notably North America and North China. Due to its global extent, this paleokarst unconformity has been viewed as a product of second- or third-order eustatic sea level fall during the early Middle Ordovician. The Sauk-Tippecanoe sequence boundary in South Korea, however, appears to be a discrete marine-flooding surface in the upper Maggol Limestone. Strata beneath this surface represent by a thinning-upward stack of exposure-capped tidal flat-dominated cycles that are closely associated with multiple occurrences of paleokarst-related solution-collapse breccias. This marine-flooding surface is onlapped by a thick succession of thin-bedded micritic limestone that is eventually overlain by a Middle Ordovician condensed section. This physical stratigraphic relationship suggest that second- and third-order eustatic sea level fall may have been significantly tempered by regional tectonic subsidence near the end of Maggol deposition. The tectonic subsidence is also evidenced by the occurrence of coeval off-platform lowstand siliciclastic quartzite lenses as well as debris flow carbonate breccias (i.e., the Yemi Breccia) in the basin. With continued tectonic subsidence, a subsequent rise in the eustatic cycle caused drowning and deep flooding of the carbonate platform, forming a discrete marine-flooding surface that may be referred to as a drowning unconformity. This tectonic interpretation contrasts notably with the slowly subsiding carbonate platform model for the basin as has been previously suggested. Thus, it is proposed that the Taebaeksan Basin in the northeastern flank on the Okcheon Belt evolved from a slowly subsiding carbonate platform to a rapidly subsiding intracontinental rift basin during the early Middle Ordovician. 相似文献

The stratigraphic distribution of sedimentary organic matter in Anisian carbonate series of southern Poland is studied with respect to relative sea-level fluctuations. Palynofacies patterns clearly reflect transgressive–regressive trends that are interpreted in terms of third-order cyclicity. Major flooding phases are detected by maximum abundance of marine plankton in the upper Bithynian and Pelsonian. Transgressive and highstand deposits are recognized by changes in the terrestrial input of organic particles and the relative percentages and diversity of the plankton group. The palynological data support the sequence stratigraphic interpretation based on sedimentological features and geochemical signatures. The corresponding eustatic signals of sedimentary and organic facies are discussed. The study highlights the potential of palynofacies analysis for sequence stratigraphical interpretation. 相似文献
