The Laplace domain solutions have been obtained for three-dimensional groundwater flow to a well in confined and unconfined wedge-shaped aquifers. The solutions take into account partial penetration effects, instantaneous drainage or delayed yield, vertical anisotropy and the water table boundary condition. As a basis, the Laplace domain solutions for drawdown created by a point source in uniform, anisotropic confined and unconfined wedge-shaped aquifers are first derived. Then, by the principle of superposition the point source solutions are extended to the cases of partially and fully penetrating wells. Unlike the previous solution for the confined aquifer that contains improper integrals arising from the Hankel transform [Yeh HD, Chang YC. New analytical solutions for groundwater flow in wedge-shaped aquifers with various topographic boundary conditions. Adv Water Resour 2006;26:471–80], numerical evaluation of our solution is relatively easy using well known numerical Laplace inversion methods. The effects of wedge angle, pumping well location and observation point location on drawdown and the effects of partial penetration, screen location and delay index on the wedge boundary hydraulic gradient in unconfined aquifers have also been investigated. The results are presented in the form of dimensionless drawdown-time and boundary gradient-time type curves. The curves are useful for parameter identification, calculation of stream depletion rates and the assessment of water budgets in river basins.  相似文献

在偏移后成像空间中的共成像点道集中可以对多次波进行衰减,对于给定的偏移速度模型,一次波与多次波在叠前偏移后的共成像点道集中具有不同的动校时差,这样我们就可以使用类似于偏移前衰减多次波的方法将一次波和多次波进行分离.本文在成像空间中应用抛物Radon变换分离多次波和有效波,由于每个共成像点道集都包含了复杂三维波场传播效应,所以本文方法具有处理三维数据和复杂地下构造的能力.相比于SRME以及传统Radon变换衰减多次波方法,本文方法能够在保持较小的计算量的同时,保证了衰减多次波的准确性.通过对模型数据试算和对实际数据的处理验证了本文方法在叠前时间偏移后衰减多次波的能力,并取得了很好的成像效果.  相似文献

This paper presents semi-analytical solutions to Fredlund and Hasan’s one-dimensional consolidation for unsaturated soils under symmetric semi-permeable drainage boundary conditions. Two variables are introduced to transform two coupled governing equations of pore-air and pore-water pressures into an equivalent set of partial differential equations, which are easily solved by the Laplace transform. Then, the pore-air and pore-water pressures, and soil settlement are obtained in the Laplace domain. Crump’s method is adopted to perform the inverse Laplace transform in order to obtain semi-analytical solutions in time domain. It is shown that the present solution is more applicable to various types of drainage boundary conditions, and in a good agreement with existing solutions from the literature. Furthermore, several numerical examples are provided to investigate the consolidation behavior of an unsaturated single-layer soil with traditional drainage boundary (single or double), and single-sided and double-sided semi-permeable drainage boundaries. Finally, it illustrates the changes in pore-air and pore-water pressures and soil settlement with time at different values of symmetric semi-permeable drainage boundary conditions parameters. In addition, parametric studies are conducted by the variations of pore-air and pore-water pressures at different ratios of air-water permeability coefficient and the depth.  相似文献

Axisymmetric consolidation of multi-layered soils induced by groundwater extraction from a dewatering well is studied with consideration of the anisotropic permeability and the well length. Laplace-Hankel transforms are utilized to solve the governing equations. The analytical layer-element method is used to build relationships between displacements, stresses, excess pore pressure and seepage velocity in the transformed domain. The real solutions can be obtained by the inversion of Laplace-Hankel transforms. A series of parametric studies, especially the length of a dewatering well and the combined effect of pumping and recharging, are conducted to analyze the consolidation behaviors of layered soils.  相似文献

The grain‐size distribution of aeolian dune sands in the Thar Desert, India was analyzed and compared with three model distributions – log‐normal, log‐hyberbolic and log‐skew‐Laplace – to determine the best‐fit statistical model. In total, 51 samples were collected along a single transect over a transverse dune, of which 15 were from the stoss side, 12 from the crest and 24 from the lee side. Samples were collected during a calm period in the afternoon of a winter's day. It was observed that of these 51 samples, 33 fit best to a log‐hyperbolic distribution, 14 fit best to a normal distribution and only four fit best to a Laplace distribution. However, it was further observed that of 24 samples from the lee side, 13 fit best to a normal distribution, eight fit best to a hyperbolic distribution, and three fit best to a Laplace distribution. Of 12 samples from the crest of the dune, 11 fit best to the log‐hyperbolic distribution, only one to the Laplace distribution but none to a normal distribution. Of 15 samples from the stoss side of the dune, only one sample best‐fits a normal distribution, 14 fit best to a log‐hyperbolic distribution, and none best fit to a Laplace distribution. During sample collection a calm period prevailed and there was no dusty wind. It was therefore assumed that in the initial stage a mixture of coarse, medium and fine sands was laid down on the stoss side of the dune. As wind speeds increased and saltation started, the coarser fractions were segregated and lagged behind on the stoss slope. In the final stage when the remaining intermediate and finer fractions reached the dune crest, the finer fractions were winnowed away to suspension from the crest of the dune. As a result, a narrow range of intermediate sized sediments was deposited by rolling down the lee side to explain the development of log‐normality. In such a situation, both the coarser and finer fractions, to which the skewed distributions can be attributed, are separated from the initial mixture of coarse, intermediate and fine fractions. Hence the main criteria for the development of a normal distribution is the lack of skewed fractions and the concentration of the narrow, intermediate size fractions in the final grain size distribution. This is also corroborated with the index of symmetry, which is a measure of the difference between the angle of two slopes of the hyperbolic distribution as represented by the coarser and finer fractions. A data analysis method is proposed to cluster and explore spatio-temporal characteristics of the 22 years of precipitation data (1982–2003) for Taiwan. The wavelet transform self-organizing map (WTSOM) framework combines the wavelet transform (WT) and a self-organizing map (SOM) neural network. WT is used to extract dynamic and multiscale features of the non-stationary precipitation time-series, and SOM is applied to objectively identify spatially homogeneous clusters on the high-dimensional wavelet-transformed feature space. Haar and Morlet wavelets are applied in the data preprocessing stage to preserve the desired characteristics of the precipitation data. A two-level SOM neural network is applied to identify clusters in the wavelet space in the clustering stage. The performance of clustering is evaluated using silhouette coefficients. The results indicate that singularities or sharp transitions are more significant than changes in the periodicity or data structure in the spatial–temporal precipitation data. The WTSOM results show that six clusters are optimal for both Haar and Morlet wavelet functions, but their corresponding geographic locations are different. The geographic locations of clusters based on the Haar wavelet, which captures the occurrence of extreme hydrological events, appear in blocks while those classified by the Morlet wavelet, which indicates periodicity changes and describes fine structures, appear in strips that cross the island of Taiwan. Principal component analysis is applied to the precipitation data of each cluster. The first principal components explain 62–90% of the total variation of data. Characteristics of precipitation data for each cluster are explored using scalogram analysis. The results show that both extreme hydrological events and periodicity changes appear in the spatial and temporal precipitation data but with different characteristics for each cluster. Recognizing homogeneous hydrologic regions and identifying the associated precipitation characteristics improves the efficiency of water resources management in adapting to climate change, preventing the degradation of the water environment, and reducing the impact of climate-induced disasters. Measures for countering the stress of precipitation variation for water resources management are provided.  相似文献

Numerical inversion is required when Laplace transform cannot be inverted analytically by manipulating tabled formulas of special cases. However, the numerical inverse Laplace transform is generally an ill-posed problem, and there is no universal method which works well for all problems. In this study, we selected seven commonly used numerical inverse Laplace transform methods to evaluate their performance for dealing with solute transport in the subsurface under uniform or radial flow condition. Such seven methods included the Stehfest, the de Hoog, the Honig–Hirdes, the Talbot, the Weeks, the Simon and the Zakian methods. We specifically investigated the optimal free parameters of each method, including the number of terms used in the summation and the numerical tolerance. This study revealed that some commonly recommended values of the free parameters in previous studies did not work very well, especially for the advection-dominated problems. Instead, we recommended new values of the free parameters for some methods after testing their robustness. For the radial dispersion, the de Hoog, the Talbot, and the Simon methods worked very well, regardless of the dispersion-dominated or advection-dominated situations. The Weeks method can be used to solve the dispersion-dominated problems, but not the advection-dominated problems. The Stehfest, the Honig–Hirdes, and the Zakian methods were recommended for the dispersion-dominated problems. The Zakian method was efficient, while the de Hoog method was time-consuming under radial flow condition. Under the uniform flow condition, all the methods could present somewhat similar results when the free parameters were given proper values for dispersion-dominated problems; while only the Simon method, the Weeks method, and the de Hoog method worked well for advection-dominated problems.  相似文献

提出了一种新方法来推导多层地基非轴对称Biot固结问题的传递矩阵,相应的理论推导工作量较少。基于柱坐标系下非轴对称Biot固结的基本方程,通过引入中间变量,并对坐标 进行Fourier级数展开,对时间 和坐标 进行Laplace-Hankel变换,得到了6×6阶和2×2阶的两组常微分方程;然后,两组常微分方程进行关于 的Laplace变换和逆变换,得到了单层地基非轴对称Biot固结问题的传递矩阵;结合边界条件和连续条件,运用传递矩阵法得到多层地基非轴对称Biot固结问题在Laplace-Hankel变换域内的解,通过Laplace-Hankel逆变换得到了该问题物理域的真实解答。编制了计算程序,并进行了数值计算与分析。该方法具有计算速度较快的特点,方便工程应用。  相似文献

本文运用Laplace变换法和围道积分法分析线性化的正压原始方程组的谱问题。通过严格的数学推演从形式上给出了方程组的初值问题的解,从而原则上决定了连续谱、离散谱的出现条件。与已有的研究结果相比较,本文最大的特点是保证了了解的完备性,因而相应的展开定理便是自然的了。  相似文献

采用0-1混合型边界元剖分计算域边界面,以提高边界元方法模拟三维波场波浪变形问题的数值计算精度。采用Spongelayer阻尼消波和Sommerfeld放射条件相匹配的边界处理方式,以消除计算域内的反射波。借助时域内的波面位置追踪,实现了三阶Stokes波在数值波动水槽中的波浪变形计算,其结果吻合于理论值。  相似文献
