月球雨海北部陆地区域构造及其含义 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
月球雨海北部陆地是雨海多环盆地的第二层,平均高程约-1 km。DEM图像显示,大量来自虹湾与柏拉图月坑的掘积物使本地区高程变得非常不均一。统计了研究区内的月坑,并根据其深度与宽度之比(深宽比)将它们划分为4组。深宽比较小而扁率较大的月坑被认为是较古老的月坑。这些古老月坑分布于比较接近月海的位置。对研究区内线性构造的制图研究揭示了3个优选方位,分别是E—W、NEE—SWW和NW—SE向。这种分布样式与月球格子构造系统大致匹配,因而它们很可能形成于雨海事件之前。这些线性构造,包括断裂与月溪,在月海玄武岩泛滥时期为玄武质岩浆的侵入提供了大量通道。在研究区内一些地形较低的地点,玄武岩上侵并出露在月表,它们的FeO平均含量接近但是略低于月海玄武岩。总结了本地区的地质构造演化历史,并且推论月球上的确存在类月海的陆地。 相似文献

The Active Crater at Rincón de la Vieja volcano, Costa Rica, reaches an elevation of 1750 m and contains a warm, hyper-acidic crater lake that probably formed soon after the eruption of the Rio Blanco tephra deposit approximately 3500 years before present. The Active Crater is buttressed by volcanic ridges and older craters on all sides except the north, which dips steeply toward the Caribbean coastal plains. Acidic, above-ambient-temperature streams are found along the Active Crater's north flank at elevations between 800 and 1000 m. A geochemical survey of thermal and non-thermal waters at Rincón de la Vieja was done in 1989 to determine whether hyper-acidic fluids are leaking from the Active Crater through the north flank, affecting the composition of north-flank streams.Results of the water-chemistry survey reveal that three distinct thermal waters are found on the flanks of Rincón de la Vieja volcano: acid chloride–sulfate (ACS), acid sulfate (AS), and neutral chloride (NC) waters. The most extreme ACS water was collected from the crater lake that fills the Active Crater. Chemical analyses of the lake water reveal a hyper-acidic (pH0) chloride–sulfate brine with elevated concentrations of calcium, magnesium, aluminum, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, fluorine, and boron. The composition of the brine reflects the combined effects of magmatic degassing from a shallow magma body beneath the Active Crater, dissolution of andesitic volcanic rock, and evaporative concentration of dissolved constituents at above-ambient temperatures. Similar cation and anion enrichments are found in the above-ambient-temperature streams draining the north flank of the Active Crater. The pH of north-flank thermal waters range from 3.6 to 4.1 and chloride:sulfate ratios (1.2–1.4) that are a factor of two greater than that of the lake brine (0.60). The waters have an ACS composition that is quite different from the AS and NC thermal waters that occur along the southern flank of Rincón de la Vieja.The distribution of thermal water types at Rincón de la Vieja strongly indicates that formation of the north-flank ACS waters is not due to mixing of shallow, steam-heated AS water with deep-seated NC water. More likely, hyper-acidic brines formed in the Active Crater area are migrating through permeable zones in the volcanic strata that make up the Active Crater's north flank. Dissolution and shallow subsurface alteration of north-flank volcanoclastic material by interaction with acidic lake brine, particularly in the more permeable tephra units, could weaken the already oversteepened north flank of the Active Crater. Sector collapse of the Active Crater, with or without a volcanic eruption, represents a potential threat to human lives, property, and ecosystems at Rincón de la Vieja volcano. 相似文献

In order to understand the ecological functioning of lake ecosystems, little is more crucial than knowledge of their mixing regime. However in tropical regions, this information is scarce for all except the largest lakes, and often inferred from occasional observation of physical water-column properties. In this study, a total of 276 water-column profiles of temperature, conductivity and dissolved oxygen collected between 2000 and 2017 in 60 volcanic crater lakes in equatorial western Uganda are used to classify these lakes according to mixing regime. Most study lakes are small (on average 29 ha), but together they cover a spectacularly large gradient in maximum depth (Zmax) between 1.4 m and > 220 m, and consequently they display a wide range of mixing regimes. We identified four lakes as continuous warm polymictic, 12 as discontinuous warm polymictic, and 11 other lakes mix completely once or twice each year. We classify these 11 lakes as equatorial dimictic, because they experience deep mixing during both dry seasons separated by long periods of stable stratification, while the season of complete mixing may differ between years and among neighbouring lakes. The 33 remaining lakes do not usually mix completely and are thus meromictic. Relative depth (Zr) is the main factor controlling the mixing regime of these lakes. The presence of a shallow permanent chemocline reduces mixing depth, and the smallest meromictic lakes (< 3 ha) tend to occasionally mix deeper than predicted by Zr. Based on these variables, predictions can be made about the mixing dynamics of Ugandan crater lakes not covered by our dataset. Previous suggestions that the mixing depth of tropical crater lakes is strongly influenced by the wind shelter provided by a high crater rim or by water-column transparency could not be confirmed. 相似文献

The Sierra de Los Tuxtlas is a recently active volcanic field, with eruptions in 1664 and 1792. It holds one of the reserves
of tropical evergreen forest in Mexico, as well as several maar lakes. One of them, Lago Verde, was chosen for a three-fold
study (1) on its present limnological conditions, (2) on the algal community living in the water column and preserved in the
surface sediments; and (3) on its recent history (ca. 340 yr). The palaeolimnological study was based on multiproxy analyses
on core material dated by 210Pb, 137Cs and 14C. Lago Verde is a small, shallow lake with dilute, slightly alkaline water (CO32− + HCO3− > Cl− > SO42−, Na+ + K+ > Ca2+ > Mg2+). It is turbid, eutrophic, with high phosphorus levels. It is a warm polymictic lake, with thermal and oxygen stratification
establishing by midday during the warm months. The lake does not stratify in winter. Diatoms dominate the phytoplankton community
in the cold ‘nortes’ season, Cyanobacteria in summer, and Chlorophyta in autumn. Cyanobacteria (Chroococcales) are not well
preserved in the surface sediments while Chlorophyta are better preserved. Sedimentary diatoms are well preserved, dominated
by the three most abundant species in the water column: Achnanthidium minutissimum, Fragilaria capucina and Aulacoseira granulata. The base of the studied sequences is constrained by the historic eruption of 1664. The period from 1664 to 1963 is characterised
by a meso-eutrophic lake. Tropical Forest vegetation reaches maximum values between ca. 1800 and 1963. Between ca. 1785 and
1885 the lake was slightly shallower than in the rest of the 1664–1963 period, probably recording climatic variability. An
early pulse of anthropogenic disturbance was recorded by ca. 1921 and after ca. 1963 intense forest clearance and high erosion
rates led to a more turbid, more productive, nutrient-rich lake. The highest anthropogenic impact was reached by ca. 1988;

Lago Verde is a fresh-water maar found on the lower slopes of San Martin volcano, at the Sierra de Los Tuxtlas, Mexico, currently the northernmost remnant of the tropical rain forest in America. 210Pb and 137Cs analyzed in a sediment core were used to reconstruct the historical fluxes of Ag, Cd, Cu, Pb, Hg and Zn to the site during the last ∼ 150 yr. The 210Pbxs-derived sediment accumulation rates, the magnetic susceptibility, C/N ratios and δ13C data evidenced background conditions at the lake until 1960s, when enhanced erosion related to the clearing of large forested areas at Los Tuxtlas promoted higher accumulation rates of a heavier and more magnetic sedimentary material. Recent sediments from Lago Verde were found enriched by Pb (26-fold natural concentration level [NCLs]) and moderately enriched by Cd > Cu > Zn and Hg (6-, 5-, 4- and 4-fold corresponding NCLs, respectively). The fluxes of Cu, Hg, Pb and Zn have significantly increased since 1940s, with peak ratios of total modern to pre-industrial fluxes of 11, 11, 19 and 49, respectively. The lake occupies a relatively pristine, non-industrialized basin, and therefore the increased metal fluxes might be related to long-distance aeolian transport of trace metals. 相似文献

Hydrophone measurements of acoustic noise levels in the Crater Lake of Mount Ruapehu, New Zealand were made on 18 January 1991 from an inflatable rubber boat on the lake. The greatest sound pressures were recorded in the 1–10 Hz band, with sound levels generally decreasing about 20 dB per decade from 10 Hz to 80 kHz. The low frequency noise did not have an obvious relationship to the tremor observed at a seismic station within 1 km of the lake. The comparatively low levels of middle and high frequency sound meant that at the time of measurement, direct steam input did not make a significant contribution to the heating of Crater Lake. This is consistent with the earlier conclusion that during the last decade a major part of the heat input of Crater Lake has come from lake water that was heated below the lake and recycled back into the lake. 相似文献

月海玄武岩是月球四大岩类之一,主要充填于月球大型撞击盆地之中。月海玄武岩充填过程的研究,对于了解撞击盆地充填过程和月海玄武岩充填规律及活动规模,揭示月球的热演化历史具有重要意义。本文综合利用嫦娥一号LAM数据、CCD影像数据和Clementine UVVIS数据,对雨海地区的地形地貌、岩石化学组成进行了提取和分析,对雨海地区月海玄武岩进行了单元划分,并运用撞击坑尺寸-频率分布法对各月海玄武岩单元进行了表面年龄的估算。结果表明,雨海地区月海玄武岩随着时代变新钛和铁元素更加富集,总体上从晚雨海世至爱拉托逊纪由低钛低铁玄武岩向高钛高铁方向演化;月海玄武岩充填活动具有多期次性,每期月海玄武岩的充填流动大体上保持由南向北方向,并且活动规模逐步减小,相对年轻月海玄武岩对早期月海玄武岩的覆盖范围不断减小。正是这种玄武岩流动与覆盖关系和充填过程造成了雨海地区从南向北地势的逐渐降低,以及较老月海玄武岩在较北部地区出露。最后,根据雨海地区月海玄武岩单元在地形地貌、岩石化学组成与表面年龄上的相关性,我们提出雨海地区月海玄武岩经历了多期次逐层填充过程,且每期由南向北流动、规模逐步减小。 相似文献

Bishoftu-Guda and Hora-Arsedi are two crater lakes found in close proximity with each other in a locality known as Bishoftu, 50 km south of Addis Ababa, capital city of Ethiopia. The main objective of this study was to measure some physico-chemical features and discuss their relations with the dial vertical migration (DVM) behavior of Paradiaptomus africanus, the dominant macrozooplankton in both lakes. By depth measurements of dissolved oxygen and temperature showed that there is persistent stratification in these lakes. Secchi depth was shallow and the water chemistry as shown from conductivity and chemical analysis were comparable between the two lakes. These data were compared with previous reports to bring out the overall limnological scenario of the two lakes. Then, the relations of these data to the DVM of P. africanus in both lakes were discussed. It was found out that DVM of P. africanus occurred in Lakes Bishoftu-Guda and Hora-Arsedi mostly within a range of about 3 m very likely for two reasons, namely avoidance of solar radiation and ultimately vertebrate visual predation. However, the depth of DVM of P. africanus was found to be very shallow probably due to high water turbidity that provided this calanoid sufficient refuge by daylight from both dangers, while at the same time P. africanus remained in warm and oxygen-rich waters. Temperature was not much of a factor affecting DVM as it remained above 19 °C at all depths. As this study was conducted over limited time frames, seasonal studies regarding changes in physico-chemical parameters, plankton, vertebrate predators and human interference were recommended so that the information so gathered could be used in the management of the study lakes. 相似文献

辉腾锡勒火山群位于内蒙古中部卓资县、察哈尔右翼中旗和后旗交界处的高山草原区。处于中国东部大同-阿尔山-诺敏河第四纪火山喷发带南段。火山群坐落在太古宙变质岩系、二叠纪花岗岩和新近纪汉诺坝玄武岩之上。平面上呈低洼的菱形台地,四周为山地,总面积约260km2。因上覆在汉诺坝玄武岩台地之上,故以往将其误归为新近纪汉诺坝玄武岩。火山群内发育近百座火山,大多数火山形貌保存基本完整。火山产物主要为一套碱性橄榄玄武岩,次为不同成因的火山碎屑物(岩)。碱性玄武岩覆盖在晚更新世坡积物和黄土之上。火山活动的时代主体为晚更新世,可进一步分为早、中、晚三期。早期为裂隙-中心式喷发,火口已剥蚀殆尽;中期主要形成"地池式"和玛珥式火山,火山形貌较完整,火口呈特征的圆形或椭圆形,大部分积水成湖,当地习称"九十九眼泉"或"海子"。晚期以熔浆的溢流为主,形成结构完整的盾片状火山。火山活动经历了沿裂隙的喷溢到中心式弱爆发、溢流-射汽岩浆爆发-溢流再到溅落堆积的演化过程。辉腾锡勒火山群是在新近纪汉诺坝玄武岩台地上新解体确定的第四纪火山群,这为研究蒙古高原南部地壳深部结构及其活动性提供了又一天然窗口,对了解新构造活动、环境及灾害预警研究都具有重要的理论和实际意义。 相似文献
