Multiscale modeling of a sensitive marine clay   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
This paper examines the mechanical behavior of a sensitive marine clay. Various laboratory tests on intact and reconstituted samples of Guinea Gulf marine clay were performed under isotropic compression and drained triaxial compression at constant confining stresses. Microstructure analysis on intact and reconstituted samples was also carried out under different loading conditions. The effect of inter‐aggregates bonding on mechanical properties is discussed. Based on experimental analysis, a new modeling method is proposed. In this approach, the clay is regarded as an assembly of aggregates of clay particles. An inter‐aggregate contact law is introduced relating contact forces to aggregates relative displacements. The deformation of the assembly can be obtained by integrating the movement of the inter‐aggregate contacts in all orientations. Thus, the effect of inter‐aggregates bonds and debonding is considered in a direct way. The model is evaluated through comparisons between the predicted and measured results on Guinea Gulf marine clay. The evolutions of local stresses, strains, and bonds in inter‐aggregates planes are discussed to explain the anisotropy induced by the applied loading. 祁连山断裂带是中国西部地震活动最强烈的地区之一。本文应用Aquachem5.1对该断裂带中东段10口井水进行了水化学分析;同时利用Phreeqc软件对地下水化学组分和饱指数SI值进行了模拟计算;并结合氢氧和氦同位素组成特征初步分析了该断裂带地下水成因、水质类型、循环速度及循环深度。研究表明祁连山断裂中东段地下水均为大气成因,总体上体现为循环深度小、滞留时间短、水-岩反应程度较弱等特点,其化学活动性在空间上具有西弱东强分布特征。这一结论为今后进一步研究地下流体地震前兆异常提供了依据。  相似文献

大团山铜(钼) 矿床是安徽铜陵狮子山矿田内较为典型的岩浆热液叠加型铜钼矿床,其成因与早白垩世大团山石英 二长闪长岩有密切关系。系统采集硫化物阶段的矿化石英脉并经岩相学显微观察发现,石英中捕获有大量的流体包裹体, 主要分为三种类型,即富气相(Ⅰ型)、富液相(Ⅱ型) 的两相水溶液包裹体和含子晶的三相水溶液包裹体(Ⅲ型)。显微 测温研究表明,流体包裹体的均一温度统计峰值分别出现在375~405°C和285~315°C之间,流体盐度的统计峰值出现在5.0 wt.%~10.0 wt.% NaCl eq.之间。激光拉曼探针分析表明,流体包裹体的气相成分以水蒸汽为主,含有少量CO2和CH4。流体 氢、氧同位素组成呈岩浆流体特征。研究表明,大团山铜(钼) 矿床的成矿流体主要来源于岩浆流体,在成矿过程中经历 了相态变化,沸腾的流体体系受到了不均匀捕获。结合前人研究成果,狮子山矿田内早白垩世叠加改造型流体表现出同源 特征,在物理化学演化方面具有一定规律性,流体的多次沸腾作用很可能对成矿元素的分配、迁移与沉淀起到了重要作用。  相似文献

We present results from multiple stable isotope analyses (δ18O of chironomid larval head capsules, chironomid adult thoraxes and other insect remains and δD, δ13C, δ15N of total organic matter—TOM) of a lake sediment core (04-SVID-03) taken from Stora Vidarvatn in northeastern Iceland to reconstruct past environmental, limnological and δ18O of past lake water changes during the Holocene. Core 04-SVID-03 represents a ∼12,000 cal. yrs BP to present record. Large magnitude changes in δ18O occurred during the Holocene at the site. Downcore shifts in δ18O of chironomids did not correlate with measurements of the δ13C and δ15N of chironomid head capsules, implying that the δ18O changes were not primarily driven by changes in chironomid diet during the Holocene. The δD of TOM provided a proxy of relative lake-water δD changes at the site and also showed large magnitude changes during the record. This approach was supported by analyses of a modern training set where δDTOM analyses were conducted using surface sediments from a suite of freshwater lakes over a large latitudinal gradient. The magnitude of changes in both the δ18O and δD and the relatively negative δ18O values throughout much of the core suggest that the proxies represent more paleoenvironmental information than solely temperature. Additional possible influences on lake-water isotopic composition are discussed, including changes in the seasonality of precipitation, in the patterns of air masses supplying precipitation to Iceland and in the dominant mode of the North Atlantic Oscillation.  相似文献

We have studied the H+ velocity distribution function at Mars and Venus near the bow shock both in the solar wind and in the magnetosheath by a simple analytical one-dimensional model. We found that over half of the ions in the ring velocity distribution which moved towards the magnetosheath were scattered back into the bow shock. The original ring distribution is destroyed in less than an ion gyro period. Ions contained in the magnetosphere which hit the bow shock bounce back into the solar wind with a maximum energy exceeding twice the energy of solar wind protons. The ions finite gyroradius causes an asymmetric flow in the magnetosheath with respect to the direction of the convective electric field, which can be observed already a few ion gyroradius downstream of the bow shock.  相似文献

Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe. Molecular hydrogen is the dominant chemical species in the atmospheres of the giant planets. Because of their low masses, neutral and ionized hydrogen atoms are the dominant species in the high atmospheres of many planets. Finally, protons are the principal heavy component of the solar wind.Here we present a critical evaluation of the current state of understanding of the chemical reaction rates and collision cross sections for several important hydrogen collision processes in planetary atmospheres, ionospheres, and magnetospheres. Accurate ab initio quantum theory will play an important role. The collision processes are grouped as follows:
(a)
H++H charge transfer,
(b)
H++H2(v) charge transfer and vibrational relaxation, and
(c)
H2(v,J)+H2 vibrational, rotational, and ortho-para relaxation.
In each case we provide explicit representations as tabulations or compact formulas. Particularly important conclusions are that H++H2(v) collisions are more likely to result in vibrational relaxation than charge transfer and H2 ortho-para conversion is at least an order-of-magnitude faster than previously assumed.  相似文献

This study performed a detailed geochemical analyses of the components, stable carbon isotopes of alkane gas and CO2, stable hydrogen isotopes of alkane gas and helium isotopes of reproducing gas from the largest tight gas field (Sulige) and shale gas (Fuling) field in China. The comparative study shows that tight gas from the Sulige gas field in the Ordos Basin is of coal-derived origin, which is characterized by a positive carbon and hydrogen isotopic distribution pattern (δ13C1 > δ13C2 > δ13C3 > δ13C4; δ2H1 > δ2H2 > δ2H3), i.e., the carbon and hydrogen isotopes increase with increasing carbon numbers. Carbon dioxide from this field are of biogenic origin and the helium is crust-derived. Shale gas from the Fuling shale gas field belongs to oil-derived gas which has complete carbon and hydrogen isotopic reversal of secondary alteration origin (δ13C1 < δ13C2 < δ13C3; δ2H1 < δ2H2 < δ2H3), i.e., the carbon and hydrogen isotopes decrease with increasing carbon numbers. Such complete isotopic reversal distribution pattern is due to the secondary alteration like oil or gas cracking, diffusion and so on under high temperature. In that case, positive carbon or hydrogen isotopic distribution pattern will change into complete isotopic reversal as the temperature increases. Carbon dioxide is of abiogenic origin resulting from the thermal metamorphism of carbonates and helium is crust-derived.  相似文献

Volcanic and geothermal areas are one of the major natural sources of H2S to the atmosphere. Its environmental impact is often the main cause of the opposition to the development of geothermal energy exploitation programs. In this paper, we analyze the air concentrations and dispersion pattern of naturally emitted H2S at the geothermal area of Sousaki (Corinthia, Greece). Measurements, made with a network of passive samplers, evidence a rapid decrease of concentration values away from the emission points. The fact that the decrease is more pronounced in the summer with respect to the winter indicates that it is not only due to a dilution effect, but also to redox reactions favored by higher temperatures and intense sunlight typical of the summer period.  相似文献

The general circulation models are used to simulate hydrogen and oxygen stable isotope in precipitation, which can enhance our understanding of the migratory processes of water stable isotope in water cycle and remedy disadvantages of measured data in spatial and temporal discontinuity. We used ten GCM (General Circulation Models) simulated data including stable isotope water cycle, and analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics of oxygen stable isotope effect in global precipitation. Meanwhile, we compared different simulated results as well as simulated results and the GNIP (Global Network of Isotopes in Precipitation) actual monitoring results. Our main purposes were to evaluate the simulative validity of stable isotope atmospheric circulation and improve our understanding and cognition for stable isotopic effect in water cycle. The results indicated that isoGSM, ECHAM4, LMDZ4 and HadAM3 showed good performances in simulating δ18O. Expect HadAM3, other simulated conclusion of models had good performances in the aspect of simulate seasonal difference of δ18O in spatial distribution. The simulated results of isoGSM, GISS E-F, ECHAM4, GISS E-N and LMDZ4 matched monitoring results more in the aspect of simulating relationship between δ18O and air temperature in spatial distribution. LMDZ4, isoGSM, GISS E-F, ECHAM4 and MUGCM had stronger capacity in the aspect of simulating relationship between δ18O and precipitation in spatial distribution. GISS E-F, isoGSM and GISS E-N had more advantage of simulate global meteoric water line.  相似文献
