桑桑地区林子宗群火山岩Sr、Nd同位素地球化学特征和SHRIMP锆石U-Pb地质年代学数据表明:①林子宗火山岩以高钾流纹岩为主,属于高钾钙碱性系列岩石,形成于49.8Ma± 0.92 Ma,属于帕那组火山岩地层;②林子宗火山岩稀土元素配分模式较为一致,相对于HREE,强烈富集LREE;③林子宗火山岩具有相对低的初始Sr同位素值(87Sr/86Sr(i)=0.70488~0.70569)和较高的初始Nd值(εNd(i)=-1.38~-1.58);④总体上富集大离子亲石元素,亏损高场强元素,与岛弧型火山岩的地球化学特征类似。桑桑地区林子宗火山岩在形成过程中明显受到角闪石和斜长石分离结晶作用的影响。可能是俯冲的新特提斯洋板片断离或变陡,进而导致经历过俯冲交代作用的富集岩石圈地幔甚至局部下地壳发生部分熔融,形成的初始岩浆发生混合作用,并在近封闭条件下发生高度分离结晶作用的产物。结合已有的结果,认为冈底斯带南带普遍经历了50Ma左右的岩浆作用。  相似文献

In this paper, we analyze the stress change associated with the inverted volcanic source models at Mayon volcano, Philippines, where there are gravity changes without significant deformation after the 1993 eruption. We detail the applicable data and the associated inversion techniques and models prior to calculating the appropriate stress changes. It is determined that the stress change associated with the central magmatic source produces compressional stress changes at a secondary source to the northwest, prompting a change in the local water storage in the underlying fractured rock.  相似文献

One of the best-studied volcanoes of the world, Mt. Etna in Sicily, repeatedly exhibits eruptive scenarios that depart from the behavior commonly considered typical for this volcano. Episodes of intense explosive activity, pyroclastic flows, dome growth and cone collapse pose a variety of previously underestimated threats to human lives in the summit area of the volcano. However, retrospective analysis of these events shows that they were likely caused by the same very sets of premises and starting conditions as “normal” eruptions, yet combined in an unexpected, probably unique, way. To cope with such unexpected consequences, we involve an approach of artificial intelligence developed specially for needs of the geosciences, the event bush. Scenarios inferred from the event bush fit the observed ones and allow to foresee other low-probability events that may occur at the volcano. Application of the event bush provides a more impartial vision of volcanic phenomena and may serve as an intermediary between expert knowledge and numerical assessment, e.g., by means of Bayesian Belief Networks.  相似文献

富碱侵入岩具有深源浅成的属性,是示踪地幔组成的窗口。位于东天山与塔里木克拉通北缘交界处的阔克塔格以西出露一处以正长岩为主体、包含少量中—基性岩石单元的富碱侵入岩。LA- ICP- MS锆石U- Pb测年显示其侵位于227~224 Ma之间,为印支期岩浆作用产物。该岩体具有富碱(Na2O+K2O=7. 93%~ 12. 28%)、富铝(Al2O3=15. 62%~18. 67%)、贫镁(MgO=0. 12%~4. 01%)、贫钛(TiO2=0. 14%~1. 63%)的特征,属于准铝质的(A/CNK=0. 78~1. 00)高钾钙碱性—钾玄岩系列。微量元素表现出高场强元素Nb、Ta、Th、U、Zr、Hf的富集,不相容元素Sr、P、Ti的亏损特征;轻重稀土分馏明显((La/Yb)N=15. 09~34. 90),表现为轻稀土强烈富集的右倾型曲线,Eu异常变化较大(δEu=0. 12~1. 72)。在同位素组成上,富碱侵入岩呈现相对宽泛但总体富集的全岩Sr- Nd和锆石Hf同位素特征,(87Sr/86Sr)i=0. 70489~0. 70581,εNd(t)=14. 56~6. 74,εHf(t)=11. 48~+3. 06,锆石δ18O值(5. 49‰~6. 87‰)略高于地幔值(5. 3‰±0. 6‰)。阔克塔格西富碱侵入岩具A1型花岗岩特征,形成于板内伸展构造环境中。基于主、微量元素及Sr- Nd- Hf- O同位素特征,笔者认为该杂岩体为同源岩浆演化产物,源于富集岩石圈地幔的原始岩浆上升并经历AFC(同化混染- 分离结晶)过程。晚三叠世塔里木克拉通北缘—东天山—北山地区处于板内构造体制,A1型花岗岩和正长岩差异化的时空分布特征很可能记录了古亚洲洋自西到东 “剪刀式”的闭合过程。  相似文献

Determining consistent sets of vent conditions for next expected eruptions at Vesuvius is crucial for the simulation of the sub-aerial processes originating the volcanic hazard and the eruption impact. Here we refer to the expected eruptive scales and conditions defined in the frame of the EC Exploris project, and simulate the dynamics of magma ascent along the volcanic conduit for sub-steady phases of next eruptions characterized by intensities of the Violent Strombolian (VS), Sub-Plinian 2 (SP2), and Sub-Plinian 1 (SP1) scale. Sets of conditions for the simulations are determined on the basis of the bulk of knowledge on the past history of Vesuvius [Cioni, R., Bertagnini, A., Santacroce, R., Andronico, D., Explosive activity and eruption scenarios at Somma–Vesuvius (Italy): towards a new classification scheme. Journal of Volcanology and Geothermal Research, this issue.]. Volatile contents (H2O and CO2) are parameterized in order to account for the uncertainty in their expected amounts for a next eruption. In all cases the flow in the conduit is found to be choked, with velocities at the conduit exit or vent corresponding to the sonic velocity in the two-phase non-equilibrium magmatic mixture. Conduit diameters and vent mixture densities are found to display minimum overlapping between the different eruptive scales, while exit gas and particle velocities, as well as vent pressures, largely overlap. Vent diameters vary from as low as about 5 m for VS eruptions, to 35–55 m for the most violent SP1 eruption scale. Vent pressures can be as low as less than 1 MPa for the lowest volatile content employed of 2 wt.% H2O and no CO2, to 7–8 MPa for highest volatile contents of 5 wt.% H2O and 2 wt.% CO2 and large eruptive scales. Gas and particle velocities at the vent range from 100–250 m/s, with a tendency to decrease, and to increase the mechanical decoupling between the phases, with increasing eruptive scale. Except for velocities, all relevant vent quantities are more sensitive to the volatile content of the discharged magma for the highest eruptive scales considered.  相似文献

We examine the application of Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) to volcanic occurrences. The parameters in HMMs can be estimated from data by means of the Expectation–Maximization (EM) algorithm. Various formulations permit modelling the activity level of a volcano through onset counts, the intensity of a Markov Modulated Poisson Process (MMPP), or through the intervals between onsets. More elaborate models allow investigation of the relationship between durations and reposes. After fitting the model, the Viterbi algorithm can be used to identify the underlying (hidden) activity level of the volcano most consistent with the observations. The HMM readily provides forecasts of the next event, and is easily simulated. Data of flank eruptions 1600–2006 from Mount Etna are used to illustrate the methodology. We find that the volcano has longish periods of Poissonian behaviour, interspersed with less random periods, and that changes in regime may be more frequent than have previously been identified statistically. The flank eruptions of Mount Etna appear to have a complex time-predictable character, which is compatible with transitions between an open and closed conduit system. The relationship between reposes and durations appears to characterize the cyclic nature of the volcanoes activity.  相似文献

The Pu'u 'O'o-Kupaianaha eruption (1983-present) is the longest lived rift eruption of either Kilauea or neighboring Mauna Loa in recorded history. The initial fissure opening in January 1983 was followed by three years of episodic fire fountaining at the Pu'u 'O'o vent on Kilauea's east rift zone 19km from the summit (episodes 4–47). These spectacular events gave way in July 1986 to five and a half years of nearcontinuous, low-level effusion from the Kupaianaha vent, 3km to the cast (episode 48). A 49th episode began in November 1991 with the opening of a new fissure between Pu'u 'O'o and Kupaianaha. this three week long outburst heralded an era of more erratic eruptive behavior characterized by the shut down of Kupaianaha in February 1992 and subsequent intermittent eruption from vents on the west flank of Pu'u 'O'o (episodes 50 and 51). The events occurring over this period are due to progressive shrinkage of the rift-zone reservoir beneath the eruption site, and had limited impact on eruption temperatures and lava composition.  相似文献

葛店煤矿双庙扩大区位于豫、皖两省交界处。勘探区为一轴向北北东向的不对称向斜构造,地层倾角26°~30°,测区深部有岩浆岩侵入体,严重影响煤层赋存形态;地表条件复杂,村庄密集、河流较多,测区东侧塌陷区水塘大面积分布.三维地震勘探野外施工难度大。本区地震勘探观测系统设计为12线18炮制,为避免偏移归位及叠加次数降低等问题,在向斜轴部两侧、村子周边及河岸处适当加密炮点,并在塌陷区利用钢钎插置检波器以保证CDP点完整性。数据处理采取了叠前反褶积、叠前时间偏移等技术,数据处理效果显著。遵循多波组对比、多个数据体综合解释的原则,以纵向、横向和任意时间剖面相结合,充分利用三维可视化技术进行地震资料解释。本次勘探成果查明了主采煤层三2^2、二2煤层的构造形态及埋藏深度;解释落差5m以上断层34条,其中修改原有断层5条;另外新发现小于5m的异常断点22个。经巷道验证煤层底板标高误差0.43%~1.96%,巷道已揭露断层7条,与解释成果基本一致。  相似文献

西天山—伊宁地区以独特的结构特征和关键的大地构造部位,历来成为中外地质学家所关注、研究的重要地区,而那拉提构造带及邻区又在西天山—伊宁地区占有举足轻重的地位。由于客观条件的制约,那拉提构造带及西天山造山带在基础地质的许多方面存在不少问题,直接影响到对天山造山带和伊犁盆地的正确认识。笔者根据近十年来在那拉提带及邻区进行10个1∶5万区调填图和收集到的其它资料,对该区几个重要层位的时代、大哈拉军山火山岩系的形成背景、蛇绿岩和蓝闪片岩的产出特征以及该区的结构、构造单元划分和发展演化的动力学机制进行了讨论,其中的许多认识和看法将对该区的进一步研究产生推动作用。  相似文献
