涡动相关仪和大孔径闪烁仪观测通量的空间代表性

在对涡动相关仪和大孔径闪烁仪足迹模型进行敏感性分析的基础上,利用北京密云站2006年8月至2007年12月期间的观测资料,应用足迹模型对观测通量的空间代表性做了初步的分析.结果表明:涡动相关仪和大孔径闪烁仪的源区对风向、Monin-Obukhov长度,空气动力学粗糙度和观测高度/有效高度等因子比较敏感.密云站涡动相关仪的源区白天主要分布在仪器的西南与南面,而夜间则在东北与北面.大孔径闪烁仪的源区为西南一东北向分布.涡动相关仪各月源区形状不同,但大致分布在南北长1000 m、东两宽850 m的范嗣内,而LAS各月源区为西南一东北向分布,长约2060 m,最宽处约为620 m.对涡动相关仪通量有贡献的下垫面主要为园地(67%)和耕地(19%).其中园地的通量贡献比例在夏、秋季比较大,冬、春季稍小,而耕地则相反.大孔径闪烁仪的主要通量贡献源区为园地、耕地和居民地,通量贡献比例分别为49%,28%和11%.其中园地和耕地通量贡献率的变化趋势与涡动相关仪的观测结果一致,但没有涡动相关仪的变化明显.     

我国南方冬季气候变暖前后极端降水事件分析

利用我国南方逐日降水资料及逐月温度资料,采用Mann-Kendall突变检验方法,并计算极端降水的GPD(Generalized Pareto Distribution)重现值,讨论了气候变暖前后我国南方冬季极端降水事件的变化。结果表明,我国南方冬季气候变暖的突变发生在1991年前后,且气候变暖后我国南方冬季的极端降水强度普遍有所增加。利用NCEP/NCAR再分析资料进一步分析气候变暖前后的环流场特征,发现东亚热带冬季风异常与我国华南、江南地区降水异常有显著的相关关系。东亚热带冬季风偏强(弱),华南、江南地区降水偏少(多)。气候变暖后中高纬度环流经向度加大,有利于北方的冷空气向南输送。此外,气候变暖后我国南方地面气温升高,海陆热力差异减小,东亚热带冬季风减弱,有利于西太平洋的暖湿气流向我国大陆东南部输送,并在东南部形成异常的水汽通量辐合,有利于形成强降水。气候变暖后,中高纬度与中低纬度异常环流系统的相互作用是我国东南部降水强度增加的主要原因。     

广东省1999—2013年雷电活动特征的分析

以1999—2013年广东省雷电定位资料作为数据来源,采用数理统计方法、Sql server数据库技术和GIS技术,统计分析雷电时空分布特征。研究表明,全省雷电活动频繁,规律性强,每年有数百万次雷电发生,具有明显的区域性特征。以广州为中心的珠三角区域和湛江局部地区雷电密度分布密集,粤东和粤西则分布相对稀疏,全省平均雷电密度为16.25次/(km2·年),其中广州最高,达30.96次/(km2·年),韶关最小,为9.52次/(km2·年);全省平均雷电流为25.29 k A,其中珠海最高,达33.7 k A,湛江最小,为22.3 k A;月分布主要集中在5—9月,占总数的89.5%,时段分布则在午后至傍晚13:00—19:00,占总数的62.0%。闪电以负闪为主,占93.01%,正闪占6.99%。     

A satellite-based climatology of fog and low-level stratus in Germany and adjacent areas

A 10-year fog climatology of Germany and adjacent areas, based on NOAA-Advanced Very High-Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) data, is presented. Maximum fog frequency is obtained for the Lake Constance area; minimum fog occurrence, accounting for basins and river valleys, is located in the Lower Rhine area. This is a transition zone between coastal advection fog and the more continental radiation fog of the lower mountain range. Fog persistence is estimated by a comparison of night and day maps. Using the bispectral approach of Nakajima and Nakajima [J. Atmos. Sci. 52, (1995) 4043], the potential of weather satellite data for climatologies of fog's optical and microphysical properties is examined. Maps of fog optical depth, effective radius and liquid water path (LWP) are computed from well-illuminated noon images and the resulting data set is statistically evaluated. Typical features of advection fog are obtained for the coastal areas of the North and Baltic Seas, while the fog of the pre-Alpine basins reveals characteristics of continental radiation fog. The results are in general accordance with field observations of various sources.     

气候变化对徐闻盐场海盐生产的影响

根据徐闻盐场气象站近41年观测资料,对盐场的气候特征、主要气象要素的变化趋势及其对海盐产量的影响进行了分析。结果得出年平均气温呈显著上升趋势(0.14×℃/10年),年蒸发量和年平均风速呈显著下降趋势,倾向率分别为-129.1 mm/10年与-0.46(m.s-1/10年)。年降水量以波动变化为主,年日照时间无显著趋势性变化。蒸发量变化是影响原盐产量的最主要因素。海盐生产旺季(4~8月)的盐产量与蒸发量、日照时间存在显著正相关,与降水量呈现负相关。若未来气候继续变暖,热带气旋影响不增多,对海盐生产可能有利。     

汕尾浮标站的风况特征分析

利用广东省汕尾红海湾大型浮标站的近4年观测资料,统计分析汕尾红海湾近海海面风的日变化特征、季节变化特征和大风特点.分析表明：红海湾近海海面秋、冬风速大,夏季风速小,风向以东北风为主;平均情况下中午前后风速较小,早晚较大,风向以东北风为主;冷空气和热带气旋是造成红海湾近海大风的主要天气系统;大风平均阵风系数较小,最大阵风系数在热带气旋影响下出现.     

热带风暴热力非对称结构对其运动的影响

研究了热力非对称结构对0421号热带风暴"海马(Haima)"的移动和强度变化的影响。通过物理量场诊断分析发现,热带风暴(气旋)的热力结构在垂直、水平方向均呈非对称分布。热力因子对热带风暴的影响,主要体现在低层。热带风暴朝其移向前方的风暴内部的非绝热增温中心偏折,并有向此方向加速的趋势。了解热带风暴的热力结构分布特征及其对热带风暴移动的影响,对短期预报热带风暴的移动有一定的指示意义。

Climate control on Venus: Comparison of the carbonate and pyrite models

We review two models describing the Venus climate system: the carbonate and pyrite models. It has been argued carbonate and pyrite are potentially important minerals controlling the climate of Venus, though existence of either minerals has not been confirmed. Although it used to be proposed that carbonation reaction might explain the Venus’ atmospheric CO₂ abundance, it is unlikely Venus’ surface is reactive enough to control the Venus’ massive CO₂ atmosphere. Venus’ surface carbonate is also able to affect the climate through the reaction with atmospheric SO₂ to form anhydrite. Under the carbonate model the climate state is not in equilibrium and would be unstable due to the reaction between carbonate and SO₂. On the other hand, pyrite-magnetite reaction is proposed to explain the Venus’ atmospheric SO₂ abundance. Under pyrite-magnetite reaction, however, the climate would be stabilized such that the existing climate state is maintained over a geological timescale, while some observational facts such as atmospheric abundance of SO₂ and surface temperature could also be reasonably explained.
