Alseodaphne changchangensis sp. nov. (Lauraceae), with a perfectly preserved fossil leaf, was found in the Eocene Changchang Formation from the Changchang Basin of Hainan Island, China. This represents the earliest occurrence at the lowest latitude for the genus Alseodaphne, and offers important fossil evidence for further investigation of the origin and evolution of this genus and the paleo-climate of Hainan Island in the Eocene. 选择沂河中游段作为研究河段。根据芭山橡胶坝、北社橡胶坝、沂水县南王庄沂河大桥、336省道(S336)沂河大桥、沂南县澳柯玛沂河大桥的钻孔资料,绘制了5个断面沂河古河槽地质剖面图。在洙阳村附近沂河断面进行了电测法物探,根据钻探验证结果对物探测量的沉积层厚度进行了校正,绘制了洙阳村附近沂河断面古河槽地质剖面图。在洙阳村附近沂河两岸,澳柯玛沂河大桥附近沂河西岸,挖掘剖面采集了光释光(OSL)年代样品,在中国科学院青海盐湖研究所、南京师范大学光释光实验室进行了测试,获得了15个年代结果。选择澳柯玛沂河大桥附近剖面,用河相关系法计算了末次冰期最盛期(LGM)、晚冰期(约12 000 aB.P.)和全新世中期(约7 000 aB.P.)的古流量。结论认为,沂河现在河床下方的基岩河槽为末次冰期最盛期的古河槽,古河道纵比降较大;古河槽宽深比大,河槽宽浅,属于砾石河床分汊型;澳柯玛沂河大桥断面,末次冰期最盛期、晚冰期、全新世中期古流量分别约为17 m~3/s、20 m~3/s、30 m~3/s。  相似文献

对五图组含煤岩系进行研究 ,所揭示的孢粉植物群中 ,被子植物榆粉 (Dlmipollenites)和栎粉 (Quercoidites)有很高的含量 ,此外有山核桃粉 (Caryapollenites)、朴粉 (Celtipollenites)、枫杨粉 (Pterocaryapollenites)、胡桃粉(Juglanspollenites)、桦粉 (Betulaepollenites)、苗榆粉 (Ostryoipollenites)、枥粉 (Carpinipites)和小栗粉 (Cupuliferoipollenites)等 ,其中热带、亚热带分子占很大的比重 ,且有很高的分异度 ;裸子植物含量不高 ,主要为松粉(Pinuspollenites)和云杉粉 (Piceaepollenites) ,其次为杉粉 (Taxodiaceaepollenites)和麻黄粉 (Ephedripites) ;蕨类孢子一般含量较少 ,仅在部分样品中三角孢 (Deltoidospora)含量很高。在参考沉积、古气候、海平面变化以及其他门类化石资料的基础上 ,对孢粉化石群的时代归属及我国东部区域相关问题作了讨论 ,得出五图组孢粉组合特征与其他古生物资料所得的时代意见一致 ,属早始新世晚期到中始新世早期 ,其古气候特征也与全球海洋气候特征相符合。  相似文献

The ca 300 m thick Guaso system is the youngest part of the ca 4 km thick deep-marine fill of the Middle Eocene Ainsa basin, Spanish Pyrenees. It is overlain by 150 to 200 m of fine-grained slope, prodelta and deltaic sediments. The ca 25 discrete deep-marine sandbodies within the Ainsa basin accumulated over ca 10 Myr, making eustasy the most likely control for coarse sand deposition (probably the ca 400 kyr Milankovitch mode). The first-order control on basin-scale accommodation, however, was tectonically-driven subsidence. Previously, the Guaso sandbodies were interpreted as linked to deep erosional, canyon-like features, but here it is argued that they are laterally extensive sandbodies, built by lateral-switching of 3 to 10 m deep erosional channels, and confined only by basin structure during deposition. The Guaso system represents the end of deep-marine deposition in a structurally-confined, delta-fed, low-gradient clastic system. The critical end-signature of deep-marine deposition was a phase of differential tectonic uplift above the underlying (Boltaña) thrust creating a narrower and shallower basin morphology, thus allowing sedimentation to create a low-gradient clastic system. Then, the next eustatic sea-level fall was insufficient to permit the cutting of canyons or deeply-incised slope channels, as had been the case earlier when the topographic relief between shelf and basin was at least several hundred metres greater. Such low-gradient clastic systems may characterize the end-signature for the infill of other shallowing-up deep-marine basins where a tectonic driver on subsidence is removed and/or differential uplift/subsidence leads to reduced sea floor gradients, leaving eustasy and sediment flux as the principal control on sediment supply.  相似文献

Several processes can contribute to the formation of hemipelagic limestone–marl alternations as a consequence of astronomically driven climate change. The aim of this study was to decipher which environmental factors governed the formation of three Eocene hemipelagic successions of the Basque–Cantabrian Basin using a comprehensive set of physical and bulk carbonate geochemical data (bed thickness, mineralogy, %CaCO3, δ13C and δ18O). The results show that the significance of several environmental processes varied depending on the palaeogeographic setting and eccentricity‐modulated precessional seasonality. In the Sopelana starved deep‐sea basin, limestones were formed as a consequence of high pelagic carbonate productivity during periods of warm seawater and sluggish circulation, which corresponded with periods of low seasonality (summers at aphelion); conversely, marls accumulated when pelagic carbonate productivity decreased during periods with cooler waters and more vigorous circulation, which occurred when seasonality was higher (summers at perihelion). In the Gorrondatxe submarine fan fringe, marls accumulated when high seasonality produced significant continental rainfall and run‐off, causing the dilution of pelagic carbonate sedimentation with terrigenous supplies. In the Oyambre upper slope, marls also accumulated when seasonality was high, as pelagic carbonate productivity decreased due to both the expansion of low‐salinity waters on the ocean surface and the increase in continentally derived nutrients, which caused detrimental seawater conditions for calcareous plankton. Both in Gorrondatxe and Oyambre, limestones accumulated when boreal summer at aphelion caused low seasonality, which allowed relatively stable conditions to prevail. At minimum eccentricity, when precession‐driven seasonality contrast diminished, changes in pelagic carbonate productivity were significant in the three sections. On the contrary, at maximum eccentricity, when seasonality peaked due to summers occurring at perihelion, the effects of other environmental processes, such as continental and oceanic currents, became influential. However, the influence of these processes minimized when summertime coincided with aphelion at maximum eccentricity and seasonality was weakest.  相似文献

Seismic characterization of Eocene-Oligocene heterozoan carbonate strata from the Browse Basin, Northwest Shelf of Australia, defines marked progradation of nearly 10 km. Stratal terminations and stacking subdivide the succession into mappable seismic units. Stratal architecture and seismic geomorphology varies systematically through the succession.Individual surfaces, discerned by toplap, onlap, and truncation, outline sigmoidal to tangential oblique clinoforms with heights of ranging from 350 to 650 m and maximum gradients between 8 and 18°. Sigmoidal clinoforms can include aggradation in excess of ∼200 m, prograde more than 500 m, and have slopes characterized by inclined, wavy to discontinuous reflectors that represent ubiquitous gullies and channels. In contrast, the overlying tangential oblique clinoforms include downstepped shelf margins, limited on-shelf aggradation (<100 m) and toplap, subdued progradation (<500 m), and continuous parallel inclined reflectors on the slope. Wedges of basinally restricted reflectors at toe of slope onlap surfaces of pronounced erosional truncation or syndepositional structural modification. The succession includes repeated patterns of seismic units that onlap, aggrade, and prograde, interpreted to represent sequence sets and composite sequences.The associations of shelf aggradation, shelf-margin progradation, and slope channeling within sigmoidal seismic units and the less marked progradation and channeling within tangential oblique seismic units contrast with the classic sequence model in which sediment delivery to the slope and pronounced progradation is favored by limited shelf accommodation. This distinct divergence is interpreted to reflect the prolific heterozoan production across the shelf during periods of rising and high base level when the shelf is flooded, perhaps enhanced by downwelling. Comparison with purely photozoan systems reveals similarities and contrasts in seismic stratigraphic heterogeneity and architecture, interpreted to be driven by distinct characteristics of heterozoan sedimentary systems.  相似文献

腾冲地块梁河早始新世花岗岩成因机制及其地质意义   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
腾冲地块梁河地区芒东和青木寨花岗岩是新特提斯洋演化过程中重要的壳源岩浆活动产物。岩石形成年龄为48~51Ma,属于早始新世,与腾冲地块西缘盈江地区大量的酸性和基性侵入岩的形成年龄相近。梁河地区的早始新世花岗岩具有高硅、钾的特征,属于准铝质-强过铝质高钾钙碱性S型花岗岩。这些花岗岩具有高的初始~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr比值和富集的Nd同位素组成,Nd模式年龄显示源岩应为中元古代的地壳岩石。同时,芒东花岗岩具有高的CaO/Na_2O和相对低的Al_2O_3/TiO_2、Rb/Sr和Rb/Ba比值,说明源区为变质杂砂岩。而青木寨花岗岩具有低的CaO/Na_2O和Al_2O_3/TiO_2、相对高的Rb/Sr和Rb/Ba比值,指示其源岩以变泥质岩为主。结合区域内中-新生代岩浆活动特征,我们认为芒东和青木寨花岗岩是印度-亚洲大陆东向初始碰撞或同碰撞时期挤压背景下,腾冲地块中下地壳成熟度较低的杂砂岩以及成熟度较高的泥岩在高温条件下部分熔融的产物。  相似文献

Ocean Drilling Program Leg 199 Site 1220 provides a continuous sedimentary section across the Paleocene/Eocene (P/E) transition in the carbonate‐bearing sediments on 56–57 Ma oceanic crust. The large negative δ13C shift in seawater is likely due to the disintegration of methane hydrate, which is expected to be rapidly changed to carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and well‐oxygenated seawater, leading to a reduction in deep‐sea pH. A pH decrease was very likely responsible for the emergence of agglutinated foraminiferal fauna as calcareous fauna was eliminated by acidification at the P/E transition at Site 1220. The absence of the more resistant calcareous benthic foraminifera and the presence of the planktonic foraminifera at Site 1220 is interesting and unique, which indicates that calcareous benthic foraminifera suffered greatly from living on the seafloor. Box model calculation demonstrates that, assuming the same mean alkalinity as today, pCO2 must increase from 280 ppm to about 410 ppm for the calcite undersaturation in the deep ocean and for the oversaturation in the surface ocean during the P/E transition. The calculated increased pCO2 coincides with paleo‐botanical evidence. The current global emission rate (~7.3 peta (1015) gC/y) of anthropogenic carbon input is approximately 30 times of the estimate at the P/E transition. The results at the P/E transition give an implication that the deep sea benthic fauna will be threatened in future in combination with ocean acidification, increased sea surface temperature and more stratified surface water.  相似文献

通过对辽东半岛兰河峪岩体锆石SHRIMP U-Pb年龄和地球化学特征进行研究,将兰河峪岩体高钾钙碱性系列岩石形成时代归入早白垩世.本溪县兰河峪岩体形成的压力环境为0.8~1.0 GPa,推测本区的花岗岩岩浆形成时源区物质来源于30~40 km的地壳深处,地壳较薄.在花岗岩Rb-(Y+Nb)图和Y-Rb图解中,所有的样品都落入板内花岗岩区内,判断当时辽东陆块处在后造山期,岩石圈减薄环境中,反映当时处于伸展构造环境中.兰河峪花岗岩为辽东陆块在早白垩世处于伸展环境中提供了又一有利的证据.  相似文献
