Greenland Ice Sheet is one of the two largest ice sheets on the planet. Under the background of climate warming, the melting of the Greenland ice sheet and its contribution to sea level rise has become an international hot issue. The whole melting of the Greenland ice sheet can cause the global sea level to rise by about 7.3 meters. However, the dynamic mechanism that affects the mass balance of ice sheet is still unclear and is the greatest uncertainty source for predicting the rise in sea level in the future. The National Key Research and Development Program of China “A Study of the Monitoring, Simulation and Climate Impact of Greenland Ice Sheet” conducts monitoring and simulation studies on the key processes of instability of the “ice sheet-outlet glacier-sea ice” system, and establishes a satellite-airborne-ground integrated observation system, supporting the numerical simulation and impact research of the ice sheet and its surrounding sea ice, laying the foundation for long-term monitoring and international cooperation in Greenland. This program will work to reduce the uncertainty of sea level change projections by improving the ice sheet dynamic model forced by the ice core records, reveal the driving mechanism of sea ice changes around the ice sheet, focusing on the Northwest Passage, evaluate and forecast the navigation window period. The results of the project will deepen the understanding of the changes and impacts of the Arctic cryosphere, serve the safe navigation and operation of the Northwest Passage, and provide scientific support for the comprehensive risk prevention of coastal zones in China.  相似文献

The Orapa A/K1 Diamond Mine, Botswana, exposes the crater facies of a bilobate kimberlite pipe of Upper Cretaceous age. The South Crater consists of layered volcaniclastic deposits which unconformably cross‐cut massive volcaniclastic kimberlite of diatreme facies in the North Pipe. Based on the depositional structure, grain‐size, sorting and composition of kimberlite in the South Crater, six units are distinguished in the ~70 m thick stratiform crater‐fill sequence and talus slope deposits close to the crater wall, which represents a multistage infill of the volcanic crater. Monolithic basalt breccias (Unit 1) near the base of the crater‐fill are interpreted as rock‐fall avalanche deposits, generated by the sector collapse of the crater walls. These deposits are overlain by a basal imbricated lithic breccia and upper massive sub‐unit (Unit 2), interpreted as the deposits of a pyroclastic flow that entered the South Crater from another source. Vertical degassing structures within the massive sub‐unit show evidence for elutriation of fines and probably were formed after emplacement by fluidization due to air entrainment. Units 3 and 5 are thinly stratified deposits, characterized by diffuse bedding, reverse and normal grading, coarse lenticular beds, mudstone beds, small‐scale scour channels and load casts. These units are attributed to rapidly emplaced sheet floods on the crater floor. Units 3 and 5 are directly overlain by poorly sorted volcaniclastic kimberlite (Units 4 and 6) rich in basalt boulders, attributed to debris flows formed by the collapse of crater walls. Unit 7 comprises medium sandstones to cobble conglomerates representing talus fans, which were active throughout the deposition of Units 1 to 6. The study demonstrates that much of the material infilling the South Crater is derived externally after eruption, including primary pyroclastic flow deposits probably from another kimberlite pipe. These findings have important implications for predicting diamond grade. Results may also aid the interpretation of crater sequences of ultra‐basic, basaltic and intermediate volcanoes, together with the deposits of topographic basins in sub‐aerial settings.  相似文献

Lower Cretaceous sandstones of the type exposed in Israel, deposited over much of North Africa and Arabia as widespread sandstone sheets, typically are mineralogically and texturally mature. Previous petrographic examinations suggested that the Lower Cretaceous sandstones are at least partly a product of recycling and the present study supports this notion. The results of U‐Pb Sensitive High Resolution Ion Micro‐Probe (SHRIMP) dating of detrital zircons from the Lower Cretaceous section exposed in Israel indicate that they are dominated by detrital zircons of Neoproterozoic age, mainly concentrated in the 0·55 to 0·65 Ga interval, with various amounts of older (pre‐Neoproterozoic) zircons (of 0·95 to 1·10, 1·7 to 2·0 and 2·6 to 2·65 Ga age groups). The overall age signal is similar to detrital zircon age spectra previously obtained from the Cambrian–Ordovician sections of Israel and Jordan. Remarkably, the detrital zircon spectra remained almost unchanged for nearly 400 Myr. Thus, the most probable provenance of the Lower Cretaceous sandstone is the recycling of relatively proximal Palaeozoic sandstone. Since first unroofed from above pan‐African terranes closer to the secession of orogeny, the ensuing siliciclastics were recycled repeatedly throughout the Phanerozoic with little additional basement denudation. The Lower Cretaceous sandstone comprises quartz sand that was first eroded from above pan‐African orogens ca 400 Myr prior to deposition.  相似文献

中国海相克拉通盆地具有时代老、规模小、多期活动、稳定性差的特点,因此海相盆地古隆起的规模相对较小,而且活动性较强,本文根据古隆起的地质结构和构造活动性,将其分为稳定型、反转型、迁移型、沉没型和肢解型5种类型,并结合最新的勘探进展对各类古隆起的控油气作用进行了剖析,研究表明:稳定型古隆起的油气主要富集在隆起的核部与斜坡部位,反转型古隆起油气主要富集在斜坡和枢纽带,迁移型古隆起主要富集在斜坡部位,沉没型和肢解型控油气作用较弱;随着油气勘探向深层拓展,油气"近源、优储"的成藏特征更为明显,古隆起斜坡部位邻近烃源岩的短期暴露溶蚀储层和多期断裂发育带是油气新发现的重要地区,古隆起与古老拉张槽叠加部位,具有优越的成藏匹配关系,成为深层油气勘探的新热点;塔里木盆地塔中-塔北古隆起下斜坡部位的阿满过渡带、鄂尔多斯盆地中央古隆起深层元古宙拉张槽两侧、四川盆地川中古隆起深层震旦纪—寒武纪拉张槽两侧等地区是海相深层大型—超大型油气田富集的有利地区。  相似文献

Dendrogeomorphology has been used since the 1960s to estimate sheet erosion rates. To date, most efforts have focused on accurately determining the first year of root exposure. However, an adequate methodological approach that takes into consideration the microtopography of the ground surface when estimating sheet erosion rates using dendrogeomorphology has not been proposed. In this study, terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) was used for the first time to examine how changes in microtopography determine the level of certainty in estimates. To this end, highly accurate TLS‐based digital elevation models representing exposed roots and their immediate vicinity were analysed using geographic information system tools. The results indicate that erosion rates calculated using the standard dendrogeomorphic method have been underestimated by up to 29% because the method does not take into account changes to the microtopography caused by the axial and radial pressure of the roots. Another source of uncertainty, which we estimate to be 50%, was also found and is the result of changes in the ground surface microtopography caused by variations in soil roughness. These findings do not invalidate the usefulness of dendrogeomorphology for assessing soil erosion, although they do show the need for correct characterization of the microtopography to guarantee reliability. 汶川地震震害调查表明使用预应力锚索的桩板墙变形协调性好,抗震性能高,但目前在预应力锚索桩板墙的抗震设计理论研究方面仍比较落后。鉴于此,利用FLAC3D对预应力锚索桩板墙的地震响应特征进行研究,包括桩身土压力分布、桩身变位及锚索内锚段应力的动力响应特性等,并通过改变地震动参数进行多种工况的分析,系统研究地震动参数对桩-土-锚动力耦合相互作用规律的影响。研究成果可加强对预应力锚索桩板墙抗震表现的认识,也为深化抗震机理研究提供可靠的依据。  相似文献

河网地区的淤泥层一般较厚,强度较低,在这些地区新建或扩建码头时需对边坡进行大面积的开挖、换填,工程造价高,采用卸荷式板桩墙高桩梁板码头结构可以很好地解决,但目前关于这种码头结构型式的土压力计算研究非常少。借鉴遮帘板桩码头的土压力计算方法,分析探讨了该新型结构的土压力计算方法。计算中对结构进行分区处理,利用非极限状态土压力理论计算板桩河侧及灌注桩陆侧的土压力,同时考虑土拱效应和卸荷板的卸荷作用,以及平行墙理论,推导计算板桩陆侧及灌注桩河侧的土压力,最后将简化计算结果与离心模型试验结果及有限元数值分析结果进行对比,对比分析表明,该简化计算方法有一定的可行性,可供工程设计参考。  相似文献

将冗余度理论引入到双排钢板桩围堰的设计中,提出双排钢板桩围堰支护体系冗余度的定义与设计方法的初步框 架。以拉杆系统的冗余度分析为例,采用拆除构件法,对其冗余度进行了定量分析。结果表明,下道拉杆的冗余度参数明显低于上道拉杆,其失效后会明显降低整个围堰支护体系的刚度、强度和稳定性,会导致整个围堰的破坏坍塌,这与工程实际相吻合。以上分析验证了冗余度理论在双排钢板桩围堰工程中适用性及可行性。  相似文献
