Résumé

L'origine de la salinité dans les eaux de la nappe Plio-Quaternaire de la plaine de Ghriss (Nord-Ouest de l'Algérie) et la compréhension de ses comportements hydrodynamiques et géochimiques, en réponse à certains forçages naturels et anthropiques, ont été approchées par l’étude combinée des rapports ioniques et d'analyses statistiques des données hydrochimiques. Cette étude a identifié l'alimentation latérale de l'aquifère Plio-Quaternaire par les deux principaux aquifères de la région. La salinisation des eaux de la nappe Plio-Quaternaire résulte essentiellement de la dissolution des évaporites (halite et gypse), de l'infiltration des eaux de ruissellement, et du retour à la nappe des eaux d'irrigation qui sont chargées en sels initialement reconcentrés dans le sol ou dans la zone non saturée. Les concentrations élevées en nitrates et en chlorures sont l'indice d'une pollution anthropique d'origine urbaine ou agricole qui affecte toute la plaine de Ghriss en proportions variables.

Résumé

Dans ce travail, des modèles de prévision de l’érosion spécifique des bassins versants en insuffisance voire en absence de jaugeages ont été élaborés, en fonction des paramètres climatiques, hydromorphométriques et de la couverture végétale, au droit des sites de barrages et retenues collinaires dans le bassin très érodé qu’est l’Algérois-Hodna-Soummam. Les paramètres régissant l’érosion ont été soigneusement sélectionnés sur la base d’une recherche bibliographique et regroupés en deux catégories distinctes par le biais de l’analyse en composantes principales. Deux méthodes statistiques ont été appliquées: la première, basée sur la régression multiple et la deuxième sur les réseaux de neurones artificiels. Des résultats très satisfaisants sont obtenus en testant, par validation croisée, la validité du modèle neuronal composé de: lame écoulée, densité de drainage, pente moyenne du bassin et précipitation moyenne annuelle comme variables d’entrées avec un coefficient de détermination de 0,81 et une erreur quadratique moyenne de 0,19.

Abstract

Water discharge and suspended and dissolved sediment data from three rivers (Napo, Pastaza and Santiago) in the Ecuadorian Amazon basin and a river in the Pacific basin (Esmeraldas) over a 9-year period, are presented. This data set allows us to present: (a) the chemical weathering rates; (b) the erosion rates, calculated from the suspended sediment from the Andean basin; (c) the spatio-temporal variability of the two regions; and (d) the relationship between this variability and the precipitation, topography, lithology and seismic activity of the area. The dissolved solids load from the Esmeraldas basin was 2 × 106 t year-1, whereas for the Napo, Pastaza and Santiago basins, it was 4, 2 and 3 × 106 t year-1, respectively. For stations in the Andean piedmont of Ecuador, the relationship between surface sediment and the total sediment concentration was found to be close to one. This is due to minimal stratification of the suspended sediment in the vertical profile, which is attributed to turbulence and high vertical water speeds. However, during the dry season, when the water speed decreases, sediment stratification appears, but this effect can be neglected in the sediment flux calculations due to low concentration rates. The suspended sediment load in the Pacific basin was 6 × 106 t year-1, and the total for the three Amazon basins was 47 × 106 t year-1. The difference between these contributions of the suspended sediment load is likely due to the tectonic uplift and the seismic and volcanic dynamics that occur on the Amazon side.

In recent years, routine application of the stable isotope determination of chromium (Cr) in environmental and health protection research has led to the search for simpler chromite decomposition techniques. As the range of Cr isotope abundance ratios in nature is very narrow, conventional chromite decomposition techniques are no longer suitable, due to the relatively high risk of contamination during laboratory procedures. We have developed a protocol for the decomposition of chromites based on oxidation by bromic acid at room temperature. The procedure takes 15 d and requires two doses of bromic acid during the reaction period (day 1 and 8), due to the limited stability of the reagent. Chromium extracted by alkaline oxidative fusion and by bromic acid decomposition yielded statistically indistinguishable δ53Cr values, measured by multi‐collector inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry following addition of a 50Cr‐54Cr double‐spike.  相似文献

The high abundances of the high field‐strength elements in ilmenite and rutile make these minerals particularly suitable for hafnium isotopic investigations. We present a technique for separating Hf by ion exchange chemistry from high‐TiO2 (> 40% m/m) minerals to achieve precise Hf isotopic composition analyses by MC (multiple collector)‐ICP‐MS. Following digestion and conversion to chlorides, the first elution column is used to separate iron and the rare earth elements, the second column is designed to separate most of the titanium from Hf, an evaporation step using HClO4 is then performed to remove any trace of HF in preparation for the third column, which is needed to eliminate any remaining trace of titanium. The modified chemistry helped to improve the yields from < 10 to > 78% as well as the analytical precision of the processed samples (e.g., sample 2033‐A1, 176Hf/177Hf = 0.282251 ± 25 before vs. 0.282225 ± 6 after). The technique was tested on a case study in which the Hf isotopic ratios of ilmenite and rutile (analysed prior to the chemistry improvement) were determined and permitted to evaluate that the origin of rutile‐bearing ilmenite deposits is from the same or similar magma than their, respectively, associated Proterozoic anorthosite massifs (Saint‐Urbain and Lac Allard) of the Grenville Province in Québec, Canada.  相似文献

Apatite incorporates variable and significant amounts of halogens (mainly F and Cl) in its crystal structure, which can be used to determine the initial F and Cl concentrations of magmas. The amount of chlorine in the apatite lattice also exerts an important compositional control on the degree of fission‐track annealing. Chlorine measurements in apatite have conventionally required electron probe microanalysis (EPMA). Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma‐mass spectrometry (LA‐ICP‐MS) is increasingly used in apatite fission‐track dating to determine U concentrations and also in simultaneous U‐Pb dating and trace element measurements of apatite. Apatite Cl measurements by ICP‐MS would remove the need for EPMA but the high (12.97 eV) first ionisation potential makes analysis challenging. Apatite Cl data were acquired using two analytical set‐ups: a Resonetics M‐50 193 nm ArF Excimer laser coupled to an Agilent 7700× quadrupole ICP‐MS (using a 26 μm spot with an 8 Hz repetition rate) and a Photon Machines Analyte Excite 193 nm ArF Excimer laser coupled to a Thermo Scientific iCAP Qc (using a 30 μm spot with a 4 Hz repetition rate). Chlorine concentrations were determined by LA‐ICP‐MS (1140 analyses in total) for nineteen apatite occurrences, and there is a comprehensive EPMA Cl and F data set for 13 of the apatite samples. The apatite sample suite includes different compositions representative of the range likely to be encountered in natural apatites, along with extreme variants including two end‐member chlorapatites. Between twenty‐six and thirty‐nine isotopes were determined in each apatite sample corresponding to a typical analytical protocol for integrated apatite fission track (U and Cl contents) and U‐Pb dating, along with REE and trace element measurements. 35Cl backgrounds (present mainly in the argon gas) were ~ 45–65 kcps in the first set‐up and ~ 4 kcps in the second set‐up. 35Cl background‐corrected signals ranged from ~ 0 cps in end‐member fluorapatite to up to ~ 90 kcps in end‐member chlorapatite. Use of a collision cell in both analytical set‐ups decreased the low mass sensitivity by approximately an order of magnitude without improving the 35Cl signal‐to‐background ratio. A minor Ca isotope was used as the internal standard to correct for drift in instrument sensitivity and variations in ablation volume during sessions. The 35Cl/43Ca values for each apatite (10–20 analyses each) when plotted against the EPMA Cl concentrations yield excellently constrained calibration relationships, demonstrating the suitability of the analytical protocol and that routine apatite Cl measurements by ICP‐MS are achievable.  相似文献

传统去噪一般都是通过各种方法将原始数据分离为有效信号和噪声,从而达到去噪目的,在去噪的过程中,忽略了信号保真的处理原则,在去掉噪声的同时有可能也损害了有效信号。这里从传统去噪方法存在的问题入手,通过对传统去噪方法的原理分析,研究了LIFT去噪技术。LIFT去噪的核心是首先建立信号模型,然后将原始地震信号和信号模型相减,求得剩余信号。通过对剩余信号进行针对性的去噪处理,去除剩余信号中存在的噪声,然后再与信号模型进行合并重构,得到新的具有高信噪比、高保真的地震信号。将该方法在低信噪比地震资料处理中进行了实例测试,取得了理想的应用效果。  相似文献

A pit located near Ballyhorsey, 28 km south of Dublin (eastern Ireland), displays subglacially deposited glaciofluvial sediments passing upwards into proglacial subaqueous ice‐contact fan deposits. The coexistence of these two different depositional environments at the same location will help with differentiation between two very similar and easily confused glacial lithofacies. The lowermost sediments show aggrading subglacial deposits indicating a constrained accommodation space, mainly controlled by the position of an overlying ice roof during ice‐bed decoupling. These sediments are characterized by vertically stacked tills with large lenses of tabular to channelized sorted sediments. The sorted sediments consist of fine‐grained laminated facies, cross‐laminated sand and channelized gravels, and are interpreted as subglaciofluvial sediments deposited within a subglacial de‐coupled space. The subglaciofluvial sequence is characterized by glaciotectonic deformation structures within discrete beds, triggered by fluid overpressure and shear stress during episodes of ice/bed recoupling (clastic dykes and folds). The upper deposits correspond to the deposition of successive hyperpycnal flows in a proximal proglacial lake, forming a thick sedimentary wedge erosively overlying the subglacial deposits. Gravel facies and large‐scale trough bedding sand are observed within this proximal wedge, while normally graded sand beds with developed bedforms are observed further downflow. The building of the prograding ice‐contact subaqueous fan implies an unrestricted accommodation space and is associated with deformation structures related to gravity destabilization during fan spreading (normal faults). This study facilitates the recognition of subglacial/submarginal depositional environments formed, in part, during localized ice/bed coupling episodes in the sedimentary record. The sedimentary sequence exposed in Ballyhorsey permits characterization of the temporal framework of meltwater production during deglaciation, the impact on the subglacial drainage system and the consequences on the Irish Sea Ice Stream flow mechanisms.  相似文献

The Quaternary Andahua volcanic group is located within the Central Volcanic Zone in Southern Peru. The author presents new data on major and trace elements and 87Sr/86Sr and 143Nd/144Nd ratios for Andahua rocks from all regions with volcanic centres. The TAS data identify the Andahua lavas as trachyandesites, basaltic trachyandesites and dacites. The phenocrysts are represented mainly by plagioclase, but olivine, clinopyroxene and hornblende are also present. In some cases the trachyandesites show Ca enrichment and their plagioclases have an andesine–bytownite composition. The plagioclase phenocrysts show a slight normal and occasionally reverse zonation. Their basaltic parental magmas were enriched in fluids derived from dehydration of the subducted oceanic crust. The chemical content of the Andahua volcanic rocks shows some similarity to both the slightly older and the contemporaneous and widespread Barroso Group rocks in this region.  相似文献

This paper analyzes the style, distribution, mechanics and timing of deformation of the Andean retroarc zone between 39° and 40°S, in the North Patagonian Andes. Field recognition and interpretation of the main structures, constrained by new gravity data allowed establishing a structural control for the main sedimentary successions that coexisted with Andean development. A balanced cross section is constructed, where the westernmost segment is characterized by a thick-skinned structure associated with a deep decollment, over which Late Paleozoic rocks are uplifted on top of Cenozoic successions. To the east, a central segment was formed by Late Miocene inversion of a late Oligocene backarc basin controlled by a shallower decollment. A new K/Ar age of 29 Ma constrains the age of these synextensional deposits. Gravity data show the rhomboedric geometry and depth of these depocenters affecting the basement in the western orogenic front area. Finally, an eastern sector is characterized by the inversion of Late Triassic structures and development of primary faults over a deeper decollment, producing a west-vergent deformational belt. The restoration of the structural profile has yielded a total shortening of less than 10 km produced in more than one contractional stage. The complex structure described in this work results from the interaction of NW structures related to the typical Andean deformation, and ENE structures related to the intraplate Huincul high. Finally, previous works had visualized in seismic tomographies an area of relatively low velocities in the orogenic front area, interpreting it as a mantle-derived magmatic-hydrothermal crustal reservoir. Computed elastic thicknesses performed in this work from gravity data show a good correlation between areas of low flexural rigidity and areas of low seismic velocities. These anomalies coincide at surface with Pliocene to Quaternary retroarc mafic eruptions that could have a connection to slab tearing processes proposed for the last 5–2 Ma from seismic data.  相似文献
