 116-year record of coral skeletal δ18O is presented from a colony of Porites lutea from Ningaloo Reef, western Australia. Interannual variability of sea-surface temperatures (SST) inferred from skeletal δ18O is dominated by a 9.5-year period, and may constitute a characteristic signal of the Leeuwin Current. On long-terms coral skeletal δ18O indicates a near-continuous increase of SST at Ningaloo Reef over one century. The skeletal δ18O time series was checked for the presence of seasonal cooling events resulting from major volcanic eruptions. An ∼1  °C cooling is evident following the eruption of Pinatubo in 1991, which reproduces the results of previous investigations. However, only weak or no signals can be related to the eruptions of Krakatau (1883) and Agung (1963). Received: 9 November 1998 / Accepted: 12 April 1999  相似文献

德国VDI3784的S/P模式为三维流体动力学积分模式,其方程主要描述了无穷小体积元素的质量、动量、静态污染物质量浓度及能量的守恒。利用德国模式进行了冷却塔烟气排放不同参数、不同大气条件下烟气抬升高度的敏感性试验。结果表明:在影响烟气抬升高度的3个气象要素(风速,气温和湿度)中,风速和气温的变化对结果影响较大,而湿度影响较小。在D类稳定度,当环境风速从0.1 m/s增加到15.0 m/s时,抬升高度将从711.7 m变为38.5 m。随着环境温度的升高,抬升高度明显单调变小;当稳定度为A类,环境温度从10℃升到40℃时,烟气抬升最大高度从688.9 m降低到45.1 m,降低了14倍多。而环境湿度的变化,对抬升高度的影响不是很明显。对于E和F类,当环境湿度从20 %增加到70 %,最大抬升高度分别从115.3 m和84.6m降到112.9 m和81.7m,分别降低了3.43 %和2.08 %。在影响烟气抬升高度的其他3个因素(凉水塔直径,烟气出口速度和混合气体温度)中,混合气体温度的变化对结果影响较大,而凉水塔直径和烟气出口速度的影响较小。在各类稳定度条件下,当出口温度从20 ℃变到90 ℃时,烟气抬升高度增加1.2-13.3倍;在各类稳定度条件下,当凉水塔直径从30 m变到90 m,烟气抬升高度仅增加0.63-1.40倍;在各类稳定度条件下,当出口速度从2.5 m/s变到8 m/s,烟气抬升高度增加0.24-0.74倍。  相似文献

Discovered by Rudolph L. Mössbauer in 1957, the Mössbauer effect (i.e. gamma-resonance spectroscopy) is the phenomenon of the emission or absorption of a gamma ray without loss of energy due to recoil of the nucleus and without thermal broadening. This technique has been applied to many science fields (e.g., physics, chemistry, geology, biology), since it provides information about the nuclear and electronic properties of materials. In this paper, a review of works focusing on the application of 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy study of the meteoritic Fe-Ni system will be reported.  相似文献

选用黑龙江省经过均一性检验的59个台站1961-2010年逐日最高、最低气温计算全省逐年热度日(HDD)、冷度日(CDD),分析其趋势及年代际和空间分布特征。结果表明:50 a来HDD总体呈显著的下降趋势,CDD整体表现为显著上升趋势。HDD基本上呈现由北向南递减趋势,CDD与HDD呈相反的变化特征,二者纬向分布明显。HDD与CDD均与对应时段平均气温具有较高的相关性,HDD与冷季平均气温呈反位相变化,CDD同暖季平均气温呈同位相变化。随着气候变暖,冷季用于供暖的能源将减少,暖季制冷所需的能源消耗将不断增加。  相似文献

The amphibolite facies grade North Qinling metamorphic unit forms the centre of the Qinling orogenic belt. Results of LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon, 40Ar/39Ar amphibole and biotite dating reveal its Palaeozoic tectonic history. U-Pb zircon dating of migmatitic orthogneiss and granite dykes constrains the age of two possible stages of migmatization at 517 ± 14 Ma and 445 ± 4.6 Ma. A subsequent granite intrusion occurred at 417 ± 1.6 Ma. The 40Ar/39Ar plateau ages of amphibole ranging from 397 ± 33 Ma to 432 ± 3.4 Ma constrain the cooling of the Qinling complex below ca. 540 °C and biotite 40Ar/39Ar ages at about 330–368 Ma below ca. 300 °C. The ages are used to construct a cooling history with slow/non-exhumation during 517– 445 Ma, a time-integrated cooling at a rate < 2.5 °C/Ma during the period of 445–410 Ma, an acceleration of cooling at a rate of 8 °C/Ma from 397 Ma to 368 Ma, and subsequently slow/non-cooling from 368 to 330 Ma. The data show a significant delay in exhumation after peak metamorphic conditions and a long period of tectonic quiescence after the suturing of the North China and South China blocks along the Shangdan suture. These relationships exclude classical exhumation models of formation and exhumation of metamorphic cores in orogens, which all imply rapid cooling after peak conditions of metamorphism.  相似文献

利用2012年夏季在北欧海(挪威海和格陵兰海)的水文考察数据,对调查区域内海洋水团性质和分布进行了分析,并对北欧海冷却对流的发展加深过程进行了研究。在上层,从东侧暖而咸的大西洋水跨越锋区至西侧低温低盐的格陵兰海盆上层水体,温度和盐度的变化分别可以达到8℃和0.4 psu。中层与深层水体的性质则相对均匀和稳定,3个海盆内从浅至深依次分布着北极中层水、海盆深层水、北极深层水以及海盆底层水。格陵兰海盆中深层水体在3 500 m深度上位温约为-0.97℃,相比较1970s观测到的-1.30℃,升温幅度超过了0.3℃,表明海盆深层存储的热量显著增加。在只考虑局地表面冷却的简化条件下,当前格陵兰海内部通过冷却对流混合至季节性跃层下界需要向大气释放0.9×109~1.2×109J的热量,这一过程至少需要2个月的时间而不利于对流向深层的发展。大量的热量被存储于北欧海深海盆中使得北欧海已经成为北半球高纬海域的热量存储器,对当前北极气候变化的影响有待深入研究。  相似文献

The unsteady thermoelastic analysis of a cooling circular disk or cylinder which is originally at uniform temperature is a classical problem of the theory of thermal stresses. More recent studies consider the case of composite structural configurations. The present paper deals with a situation which, apparently, has not been previously considered: unsteady thermal stresses caused by the presence of a hot, central nucleus. The temperature field is obtained in terms of a Fourier–Bessel expansion and then, radial and tangential stresses are evaluated analytically. The problem is of basic interest in mechanical and naval engineering systems.  相似文献

 Rheomorphic ignimbrite D (13.4 Ma, Upper Mogán Formation on Gran Canaria), a multiple flow–single cooling unit, is divided into four major structural zones that differ in fabric and finite strain of deformed pyroclasts. Their structural characteristics indicate contrasting deformation mechanisms during rheomorphic flow. The zones are: (a) a basal zone (vitrophyre) with pure uniaxial flattening perpendicular to the foliation; (b) an overlying shear zone characterized by asymmetric fabrics and a significantly higher finite strain, with an ellipsoid geometry similar to stretched oblate bodies; (c) a central zone with a finite strain geometry similar to that of the underlying shear zone but without evidence of a rotational strain component; and (d) a slightly deformed to non-deformed top zone where the almost random orientation of subspherical pyroclasts suggests preservation of original, syn-depositional clast shapes. Rheomorphic flow in D is the result of syn- to post-depositional remobilization of a hot pyroclastic flow as shown by kinematic modeling based on: (a) the overall vertical structural zonation suggested by finite strain and fabric analysis; (b) the relation of shear sense to topography; (c) the interrelationship of the calculated vertical cooling progression at the base of the flow (formation of vitrophyre) and the related vertical changes in strain geometry; (d) the complex lithification history; and (e) the consequent mechanisms of deformational flow. Rheomorphic flow was caused by load pressure due to an increase in the vertical accumulation of pyroclastic material on a slope of generally 6–8°. We suggest that every level of newly deposited pyroclastic flow material of D first passed through a welding process that was dominated by compaction (pure flattening) before rheomorphic deformation started. 华北高级变质区是早前寒武纪下地壳的组成部分,经历复杂的地质演化。根据变质PTt轨迹和变质矿物冷却年龄研究,确定高级变质区PTt演化具有两种基本形式:(1)逆时针IBC型轨迹和(2)顺时针ITD型轨迹。前者属晚太古代末期变质事件,反映在相对稳定环境中地壳的缓慢冷却过程,下地壳冷却速率较小(<0.3℃/Ma)。后者代表早元古代变质事件,形成于地壳的构造隆升过程,下地壳冷却速率明显加快(2.4~3.7℃/Ma)。高级变质区地壳热动力学状态由晚太古代末期重力均衡条件下的稳定状态转变为早元古代增厚地壳的构造隆升状态。这种转变起因于早元古代大陆增厚(造山)作用  相似文献
