The Indosinian Orogeny plays a significant role in tectonic background and magmatic evolution in Indochina and surrounding regions. Being a part product of the Indosinian magmatism in northwest Vietnam during late Permian–middle Triassic period, Muong Luan granitoid pluton dominantly consists of granodiorite, less diorite and granite. This pluton is located in the Song Ma suture and assigned to the Dien Bien complex. Geochemically, the Muong Luan granitoid rocks are characterized by a wide range of SiO2 contents (59.9–75.1 wt%) and high K2O contents. They display typical features of I‐type granites. The presence of hornblende and no muscovite and cordierite in the rocks further supports for I‐type character of granitoids. The emplacement age of the Muong Luan pluton obtained by LA–ICP–MS U–Pb zircon is at 242–235 Ma, corresponding to Indosinian time. Zircon εHf values of –5.6 to –10.4, in combination with moderate Mg values of 34–45 suggested that the Muong Luan granitoid was derived from partial melting of mafic crustal source rocks, which are probably Paleoproterozoic in age as revealed by Hf model ages (TDM2 = 1624–1923 Ma).  相似文献

利用1994年85-904航次获取的冲绳海槽中段表层沉积物样品,测定其硅酸盐相的^87Sr/^86Cr和^143Nd/^144Nd比值,以定量研究冲绳海槽中段表层沉积物硅酸盐物质的来源,结果表明,冲绳海槽中段陆坡区表层沉积物硅酸盐相的^87Sr/^86Sr/^143Nd/^144Nd与东海陆架沉物硅酸盐相的^87Sr/^86Sr和^143Nd/^143Nd相当,槽底和东坡沉积物硅酸盐相的^87Sr/^86Cr和^143Nd/^144Nd值介于中国大陆硅酸盐物质和海槽水山碎屑的^87Sr/^86Sr,^143Nd/^144Nd比值之间,并大致具有两端员混合特征,利用以Sr同位素为参数的二端员混合方程进行物源定量分析的结果表明,冲绳海槽中段的西坡和槽底表层沉积物硅酸盐相以陆源物质为主,最大值为91.07%,由西向东,陆源物逐渐减少,在海槽东坡含量最小,最小值为9.93%,火山源物质在东坡含量最高,量大值为64.92%,由东向西,由北向东,火山源物质逐渐减少为零。  相似文献

在沿海地区,以223Ra和224Ra为示踪剂建立的镭质量平衡模型已广泛应用于海底地下水排泄量(SGD)的研究中,然而目前国内外关于在人类活动复杂影响较大情况下的SGD研究却极为少见。本文对比研究了在有防渗墙(A区)和填海造陆(B区)两种不同人为因素影响下的龙口海岸带水体表现年龄、海底地下水排泄量及其携带的氮磷营养盐通量。结果表明,A区平均水体表现年龄为14.26 d,B区平均水体表现年龄为10.64 d。此外,B区沿岸地下水以及近岸海水中的Ra活度均普遍高于A区,而盐度低于A区。在SGD方面,A区的SGD速率为1.26~1.60 cm·d-1,B区为1.43~1.82 cm·d-1,考虑SGD在评估方法上存在一定的误差,因此两个区域的SGD速率相差不大。但与我国其他自然海域相比,这两个区域的SGD速率均处于较低水平。此外,B区的氮磷营养盐浓度普遍高于A区,而且由SGD驱动的氮磷营养盐通量不同,地下水输入的不平衡的营养盐极易改变龙口海域的营养盐结构,对海洋生态环境产生不利影响,这也进一步证实SGD在沿海生态环境以及水体污染治理中的重要地位。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Rocks of the early Neoproterozoic age of the world have remained in discussion for their unique identity and evolutionary history. The rocks are also present in Sindh province of Pakistan and have been in debate for a couple of years. Yet, these igneous rocks have been studied very poorly regarding U-Pb and Lu-Hf age dating. The early Neoproterozoic rocks located in Nagarparkar town of Sindh have been considered as shoulder of Malani Igneous Suite (MIS) discovered in Southwest of India. The Nagarparkar Igneous Complex (NPIC) rocks are low-grade metamorphosed, mafic and silicic rocks. These rocks are accompanied by felsic and mafic dikes. Two types of granite from NPIC have been identified as peraluminous I-type biotite granites (Bt-granites), of medium-K calc-alkaline rocks series and A-type potash granites (Kfs-granites) of high-K calc-alkaline rocks series. Geochemical study shows that these Kfs-granites are relatively high in K and Na contents and low MgO and CaO. The Bt-granites have positive Rb, Ba, and Sr with negative Eu anomalies rich with HFSEs Zr, Hf, and slightly depleted HREEs, whereas Kfs-granites have positive Rb with negative Ba, Sr, and Eu anomalies and have positive anomalies of Zr and Hf with HREEs. In addition, these rocks possess crustal material, which leads to the enrichment of some incompatible trace elements and depletion of Sr and Ba in Kfs-granites and relatively high Sr and Ba in Bt-granites, indicating a juvenile lower continental crust affinity. Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating of these granites yielded weighted mean 206Pb/238U ages ranging from 812.3 ± 14.1 Ma (N = 18; MSWD = 3.7); and 810 ± 7.4 Ma (N = 16; MSDW = 0.36) for the Bt-granites, and 755.3 ± 7.1 Ma (N = 21; MSDW = 2.0); NP-GG-01 and 736.3 ± 4.3 Ma (N = 24; MSWD = 1.05) for Kfs-granites, respectively. The Bt-granites and Kfs-granites have positive zircon εHf(t) values, which specify that they are derived from a juvenile upper and lower continental crust. Based on the geochemical and geochronological data, we suggest that the Bt-granites were formed through lower continental crust earlier to the rifting time, whereas the Kfs-granites were formed via upper continental crust, during crustal thinning caused by Rodinia rifting. These zircon U-Pb ages 812 to 736 Ma, petrographic, and geochemical characteristics match with those of the adjacent Siwana, Jalore, Mount Abu, and Sirohi granites of MIS. Thus, we can suggest that NPIC granites and adjacent MIS can possibly be assumed as a missing link of the supercontinent Rodinia remnants.  相似文献

Hafnium isotope and incompatible trace element data are presentedfor a suite of mid-ocean ridge basalts (MORB) from 13 to 47°Eon the Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR), one of the slowest spreadingand most isotopically heterogeneous mid-ocean ridges. Variationsin Nd–Hf isotope compositions and Lu/Hf ratios clearlydistinguish an Atlantic–Pacific-type MORB source, presentwest of 26°E, characterized by relatively low Hf valuesfor a given Nd relative to the regression line through all Nd–Hfisotope data for oceanic basalts (termed the ‘Nd–Hfmantle array line’; the deviation from this line is termedHf) and low Lu/Hf ratios, from an Indian Ocean-type MORB signature,present east of 32°E, characterized by relatively high Hfvalues and Lu/Hf ratios. Additionally, two localized, isotopicallyanomalous areas, at 13–15°E and 39–41°E,are characterized by distinctly low negative and high positiveHf values, respectively. The low Hf MORB from 13 to 15°Eappear to reflect contamination by HIMU-type mantle from thenearby Bouvet mantle plume, whereas the trace element and isotopiccompositions of MORB from 39 to 41°E are most consistentwith contamination by metasomatized Archean continental lithosphericmantle. Relatively small source-melt fractionation of Lu/Hfrelative to Sm/Nd, compared with MORB from faster-spreadingridges, argues against a significant role for garnet pyroxenitein the generation of most central SWIR MORB. Correlations betweenHf and Sr and Pb isotopic and trace element ratios clearly delineatea high-Hf ‘Indian Ocean mantle component’ that canexplain the isotope composition of most Indian Ocean MORB asmixtures between this component and a heterogeneous Atlantic–Pacific-typeMORB source. The Hf, Nd and Sr isotope compositions of IndianOcean MORB appear to be most consistent with the hypothesisthat this component represents fragments of subduction-modifiedlithospheric mantle beneath Proterozoic orogenic belts thatfoundered into the nascent Indian Ocean upper mantle duringthe Mesozoic breakup of Gondwana. A case study was carried out with the aim to practically test whether estimates of groundwater discharge rates into dredging lakes can be made via an uncomplicated and straightforward technique using radon-222 as naturally-occurring groundwater tracer. Lake Ammelshainer See, a dredging, seepage lake, approximately 25 km east of Leipzig, Germany, was chosen as the investigation site. In order to evaluate changes in the spatial and temporal radon-222 patterns in the lake during different stages of stratification, sampling campaigns were conducted in April 2007 (well mixed stage) and in May 2007 (thermal stratification stage). Groundwater flow estimates were made using a radon mass balance approach accounting for all radon fluxes into and out of the lake and assuming steady-state conditions with respect to these radon fluxes. Once all positive and negative radon fluxes related to the lake water volume were determined, groundwater discharge was estimated by using the advective radon input and the radon activity concentration of the pore water as key parameters. The results showed that in case of a lake with a size and shape of Lake Ammelshainer See (530,000 m2) reasonable groundwater discharge estimates can be made by collection and analyzing just a few water samples and a few samples from the sediment layer.  相似文献

辽宁弓长岭铁矿区大理岩地质地球化学特征及其成矿意义   总被引:4,自引:5,他引:4  
弓长岭铁矿床二矿区西北部发现的含磁铁矿白云质大理岩为与条带状硅铁建造整合产出的原始沉积成因碳酸盐岩.本文对该大理岩及其蚀变岩的主量元素、微量元素、稀土元素及碳氧同位素进行了初步研究.大理岩主要化学组成CaO为30.15%~ 34.32%,MgO为9.86%~11.95%,FeOT为6.76%~15.82%;与平均显生宙石灰岩相比,弓长岭大理岩除Pb、Mn富集外,大离子亲石元素和高场强元素明显亏损;与后太古代平均澳大利亚沉积岩(PAAS)相比,弓长岭大理岩稀土元素总量低,明显正铕异常,铈负异常不明显;弓长岭大理岩δ13CV-PDB为-7.0‰~-6.0‰,Y/Ho比值既不同于海水也不同于陆源碎屑.这些特征显示大理岩形成于缺氧的海洋环境,物质来源与海底喷气热液活动有关.大理岩的沉积表明当时海水的酸碱条件已达中性-弱碱性,有利于铁胶体沉淀成矿.大理岩层不仅易于发生构造变形,而且贫铁矿形成富铁矿时迁出的硅质交代大理岩形成了阳起石岩,同时大理岩还为热液交代形成石榴石岩、绿泥石岩和镁铁闪石岩等蚀变岩提供了镁质.  相似文献

The North Qilian orogenic belt (NQOB) has been defined as a subduction-collision zone between the Alxa Block and the Qilian Block during the Early Paleozoic. To constrain the post-collisional tectonic evolution of the NQOB, analyses of zircon U-Pb-Hf isotopes, whole-rock major, trace element and Sr-Nd-Pb isotope compositions of the newly discovered Early Devonian lamprophyres and diorites dikes from the Longshoushan area in southwestern margin of the Alxa Block were conducted. Zircon U-Pb dating yields emplacement ages of 400 ± 4 Ma and 403 ± 6 Ma for two lamprophyre dikes and 391 ± 3 Ma for two diorite dikes. The lamprophyres dikes are shoshonitic-high-K (calc-alkaline) in nature, and are characterized by SiO2 contents of 53.6–56.3 wt %, (87Sr/86Sr)i ratios of 0.7064 to 0.7072, εNd(t) values of 0.1–1.0, and zircon εHf(t) values of −8.0 to −2.9. The diorite dikes are high-K (calc-alkaline), and are characterized by MgO contents of 6.32–6.98 wt %, (87Sr/86Sr)i ratios of 0.7089–0.7137, εNd(t) values of −3.8 to −3.5, and zircon εHf(t) values of −9.9–0.4. Both the lamprophyre and diorite dikes show parallel enrichments in LREEs and LILEs and depletions in HREEs and HFSEs and have similar ratios of (206Pb/204Pb)i (17.587–18.133), (207Pb/204Pb)i (15.518–15.584) and (208Pb/204Pb)i (37.676–38.058). Geochemical and isotopic data suggest that the lamprophyre and diorite dikes were derived from low-degrees melts of amphibole- and phlogopite-bearing lherzolite and phlogopite-bearing lherzolite, respectively, in the spinel-garnet transition facies. Their parental magmas both experienced extensive fractional crystallization in a deep magma chamber and negligible crustal contamination during their ascent. Regarding the Palaeozoic tectonic development of the North Qilian orogenic belt, we propose that the Early Devonian lamprophyres and diorites possibly are related to North Qilian orogen unrooting and collapse and marking the end of the North Qilian orogenic events.  相似文献
