In Pakistan various brick building structures are currently disintegrating in the Indus Valley. These include the Harappan site of Mohenjo-Daro. The environment of this site is described, the nature and speed of the disintegration problem is outlined, and the cause of disintegration is discussed Weathering occurs in association with the development of salt efflorescences and some bricks disintegrate only a few years after being laid down. Chemical and X-ray diffraction analyses show that the predominant salt is the sodium sulphate mineral thenardite. The reasons for its effectiveness are discussed. They include its high solubility, the rapid change of solubility with temperature, and its hydration characteristics. 相似文献

2016年12月8日,新疆呼图壁县发生6.2级地震,造成3人轻伤。地震灾区主要涉及昌吉回族自治州昌吉市、呼图壁县、玛纳斯县等市、县的共25个乡、镇(团场)及呼图壁县城、玛纳斯县城等城市的部分区域,灾区面积12450km2。本文在概述震区地震构造环境及地貌特点的基础上,依据《地震现场工作(第4部分):灾害直接损失评估》等规范,介绍了各结构类型房屋和生命线系统的破坏情况及震区地震地质灾害的类型,分析表明此次地震直接经济损失以土木结构和砖木结构的破坏为主,安居富民工程在地震中起到了关键的减灾作用。 相似文献

为解决建筑物震害信息提取自动化程度不高的问题,本文将全卷积神经网络应用于建筑物震害遥感信息提取。以玉树地震后获取的玉树县城区0.2m分辨率航空影像作为建筑物震害信息提取试验数据源,将试验区地物划分为倒塌建筑物、未倒塌建筑物和背景3类。对427个500×500像素的子影像进行人工分类与标注,选取393个组成训练样本集,34个用于验证。利用训练样本集对全卷积神经网络进行训练,采用训练后的网络对验证样本进行建筑物震害信息提取及精度评价。研究结果表明:建筑物震害遥感信息提取总体分类精度为82.3%,全卷积神经网络方法能提高信息提取自动化程度,具有较好的建筑物震害信息提取能力。 相似文献

在区域边界层模式的数值模拟中引入建筑物的影响,与实际观测的对比表明,模拟结果能较好地体现建筑物对城市风场的影响,提高了模拟性能。本研究根据城市形态特征,设计不同建筑物高度和密度的敏感性试验,结果表明:建筑物一般会使城市地区风速减小,风速最大可减小1.6 m/s,易引起低层气流的辐合。湍流动能中的机械产生作用增加,湍流交换加强,大气层结的不稳定性增大,混合层高度增加。地表和大气之间动量交换被削弱;日间热量交换减弱,夜间热量交换增强。这些变化表明,建筑物对城市气流及边界层结构的影响十分明显,尤其在风速较大的时候。 相似文献

建筑物易损度评价作为泥石流易损度评价的重要组成部分,其研究是实现城镇及居民点泥石流风险定量化和风险管理的必要环节。综述近30年来,泥石流作用下建筑物易损度研究的发展过程,并指出以统计分析方法建立的建筑物易损度曲线普适性差且力学机理不明等问题,提出数值计算和模型实验的手段获取建筑物结构易损度的机理模型。由于建筑物易损度研究问题本身的复杂性,统计分析方法仍将作为建筑物易损度研究的重要手段,力学机理明晰的研究方法则将成为今后研究的难点和热点。此外,地震、滚石、雪崩等类似灾种的易损度研究方法和成果可被借鉴到泥石流领域。针对灾害中因结构破坏引发人员伤亡的情况,建议采用时间概率和基于条件概率的事件树方法计算建筑物内人员易损度。最终形成综合结构和人员易损度研究成果的建筑物易损度评价方法。 相似文献

We investigated the impacts on buildings of three pyroclastic surges that struck three separate villages on 25 June, 21 September and 26 December, 1997, during the course of the andesitic dome building eruption of the Soufrière Hills Volcano, Montserrat, which began on 18 July, 1995. A detailed analysis of the building damage of the 26 December event was used to compare the findings on the flow and behaviour of dilute pyroclastic density currents (PDCs) with the classical reports of PDCs from historical eruptions of similar size. The main characteristics of the PDC, as inferred from the building damage, were the lateral loading and directionality of the current; the impacts corresponded to the dynamic pressure of the PDC, with a relatively slow rate of rise and without the peak overpressure or a shock front associated with explosive blast; and the entrainment of missiles and ground materials which greatly added to the destructiveness of the PDC. The high temperature of the ash, causing the rapid ignition of furniture and other combustibles, was a major cause of damage even where the dynamic pressure was low at the periphery of the current. The vulnerability of buildings lay in the openings, mainly windows, which allowed the current to enter the building envelope, and in the flammable contents, as well as the lack of resistance to the intense heat and dynamic pressure of some types of vernacular building construction, such as wooden chattel houses, rubble masonry walls and galvanised steel-sheet roofs. Marked variability in the level of damage due to dynamic pressure (in a range 1–5 kPa, or more) was evident throughout most of the impact area, except for the zone of total loss, and this was attributable to the effects of topography and sheltering, and projectiles, and probably localised variations in current velocity and density. A marked velocity gradient existed from the outer part to the central axis of the PDC, where buildings and vegetation were razed to the ground. The gradient correlated with the impacts due to lateral loading and heat transfer, as well as the size of the projectiles, whilst the temperature of the ash in the undiluted PDC was probably uniform across the impact area. The main hazard characteristics of the PDCs were very consistent with those described by other authors in the classic eruptions of Pelée (1902), Lamington (1951) and St Helens (1980), despite differences in the eruptive styles and scales. We devised for the first time a building damage scale for dynamic pressure which can be used in research and in future volcanic emergencies for modelling PDCs and making informed judgements on their potential impacts. The 28 March 1996 earthquake (Mw=5.7) produced extensive damage in Pujili, a small town located in the central part of the Inter-Andean valley of Ecuador. Variations in the damage rate of adobe constructions throughout the city let us suppose a ground motion amplification related to site effects. A site effect study using the H/V spectral ratio confirmed the good agreement with geological formations and showed that a second peak in some soil response appears at sites that are located over a zone of alluvial deposits, in the most damaged area of the city. This second peak is in the frequency range 5–7 Hz, close to the natural response of adobe building frequency. Thus, the second peak seems to increase the damage rate of adobe buildings and may be related to superficial alluvial deposits of a river, acting independently of the rest of the soil column. 相似文献

To preserve an ancient building in Rome against traffic-induced vibrations, an anti-vibration system was introduced under the paving of the near Lungotevere road. An experimental investigation was recently carried out by ENEA in order to analyse the traffic-induced vibrations in the basement of the building and the effectiveness of the intervention. Wave propagation in the soil around the building in presence of the anti-vibration paving was compared with that in absence of the anti-vibration paving. The study showed the importance of the taking into account the contribution of other structures in the area to the dynamic behaviour of the whole system. 相似文献

为了研究城市小区建筑物和屋顶绿化对小区气象环境影响,利用USDSM(城市小区气象与污染扩散数值模式)对杭州市一临钱塘江小区进行敏感性试验。结果表明:(1)小区建筑物的拖曳、阻尼和摩擦作用造成敏感小区内10 m高度平均水平风速减小0.56 m·s-1;对风速的影响范围:迎风向为500 m,背风向为500~600 m,侧风向为200 m,影响高度达到建筑物群平均高度的两倍以上。(2)小区建筑物存在导致低层污染扩散能力减弱,平均污染物浓度达到初始浓度0.01的时间延迟7.6 min。(3)100%的屋顶绿化面积可造成敏感小区平均地表温度下降0.56℃;5 m高度平均气温下降0.70℃;小区平均建筑物高度处气温下降0.94℃。敏感小区内10 m高度平均水平风速增加0.14 m·s-1;小区建筑物下游水平风速显著减小,影响范围达到了600~800 m。 相似文献
