Orbits repeating their ground track on the surface of the earth are found to be members of periodic-orbit families (in a synodic frame) of the tesseral problem of the Earth artificial satellite. Families of repeat ground track orbits appear as vertical bifurcations of the equatorial family of periodic orbits, and they evolve from retrograde to direct motion throughout the 180 degrees of inclination. These bifurcations are always close to the resonances of the Earth's rotation rate and the mean motion of the orbiter. 相似文献

The general solution of the Henon–Heiles system is approximated inside a domain of the (x, C) of initial conditions (C is the energy constant). The method applied is that described by Poincaré as ‘the only “crack” permitting penetration into
the non-integrable problems’ and involves calculation of a dense set of families of periodic solutions that covers the solution
space of the problem. In the case of the Henon–Heiles potential we calculated the families of periodic solutions that re-enter
after 1–108 oscillations. The density of the set of such families is defined by a pre-assigned parameter ε (Poincaré parameter),
which ascertains that at least one periodic solution is computed and available within a distance ε from any point of the domain
(x, C) for which the approximate general solution computed. The approximate general solution presented here corresponds to ε =
0.07. The same solution is further improved by “zooming” into four square sub-domain of (x, C), i.e. by computing sufficient number of families that reduce the density parameter to ε = 0.003. Further zooming to reduce
the density parameter, say to ε = 10−6, or even smaller, although easily performable in both areas occupied by stable as well as unstable solutions, was found unnecessary.
The stability of all members of each and all families computed was calculated and presented in this paper for both the large
solution domain and for the sub-domains. The correspondence between areas of the approximate general solution occupied by
stable periodic solutions and Poincaré sections with well-aligned section points and also correspondence between areas occupied
by unstable solutions and Poincaré sections with randomly scattered section points is shown by calculating such sections.
All calculations were performed using the Runge-Kutta (R-K) 8th order direct integration method and the large output received,
consisting of many thousands of families is saved as “Atlas of the General Solution of the Henon–Heiles Problem,” including
their stability and is available at request. It is concluded that approximation of the general solution of this system is
straightforward and that the chaotic character of its Poincaré sections imposes no limitations or difficulties. 相似文献

We have extend Stormer’s problem considering four magnetic dipoles in motion trying to justify the phenomena of extreme “orderlines”
such as the ones observed in the rings of Saturn; the aim is to account the strength of the Lorentz forces estimating that
the Lorentz field, co-acting with the gravity field of the planet, will limit the motion of all charged particles and small
size grains with surface charges inside a layer of about 200 m thickness as that which is observed in the rings of Saturn.
For this purpose our interest feast in the motion of charged particles with neglected mass where only electromagnetic forces
accounted in comparison to the weakness of the Newtonian fields. This study is particularly difficult because in the regions
we investigate these motions there is enormous three dimensional instability. Following the Poincare’s hypothesis that periodic
solutions are ‘dense’ in the set of all solutions in Hamiltonian systems we try to calculate many families of periodic solutions
and to study their stability. In this work we prove that in this environment charged particles can trace planar symmetric
periodic orbits. We discuss these orbits in details and we give their symplectic relations using the Hamiltonian formulation
which is related to the symplectic matrix. We apply numerical procedures to find families of these orbits and to study their
stability. Moreover we give the bifurcations of these families with families of planar asymmetric periodic orbits and families
of three dimensional symmetric periodic orbits. 相似文献

We study the equilibrium points and the zero-velocity curves of Chermnykh’s problem when the angular velocity ω varies continuously and the value of the mass parameter is fixed. The planar symmetric simple-periodic orbits are determined numerically and they are presented for three values of the parameter ω. The stability of the periodic orbits of all the families is computed. Particularly, we explore the network of the families when the angular velocity has the critical value ω = 2√2 at which the triangular equilibria disappear by coalescing with the collinear equilibrium point L1. The analytic determination of the initial conditions of the family which emanate from the Lagrangian libration point L1 in this case, is given. Non-periodic orbits, as points on a surface of section, providing an outlook of the stability regions, chaotic and escape motions as well as multiple-periodic orbits, are also computed. Non-linear stability zones of the triangular Lagrangian points are computed numerically for the Earth–Moon and Sun–Jupiter mass distribution when the angular velocity varies. 相似文献

We describe global bifurcations from the libration points of non-stationary periodic solutions of the restricted three body problem. We show that the only admissible continua of non-stationary periodic solutions of the planar restricted three body problem, bifurcating from the libration points, can be the short-period families bifurcating from the Lagrange equilibria L

利用Morlet小波分析了1961—2008年台北市年平均气温序列的小波变化特征,揭示了气温变化的多时间尺度结构,结果表明:台北市年平均气温存在多时间尺度的周期变化特征,有3个明显的特征时间尺度,分别是4 a、6-8 a和14-16 a;除14-16 a的时间尺度在整个研究时段都很明显外,其他尺度的周期阶段性都较强;以14-16 a的特征时间尺度为主周期;台北市的气温变化还表现出突变的特点;近48 a来,台北市年平均气温的气候倾向率为0.3℃/10 a,气温升高的趋势十分明显;未来2年气温在总趋势上升的前提下将处在一个偏冷期。 相似文献

We present an improved grid search method for the global computation of periodic orbits in model problems of Dynamics, and
the classification of these orbits into families. The method concerns symmetric periodic orbits in problems of two degrees
of freedom with a conserved quantity, and is applied here to problems of Celestial Mechanics. It consists of two main phases;
a global sampling technique in a two-dimensional space of initial conditions and a data processing procedure for the classification
(clustering) of the periodic orbits into families characterized by continuous evolution of the orbital parameters of member
orbits. The method is tested by using it to recompute known results. It is then applied with advantage to the determination
of the branch families of the family f of retrograde satellites in Hill’s Lunar problem, and to the determination of irregular families of periodic orbits in a
perturbed Hill problem, a species of families which are difficult to find by continuation methods.

For any positive integer N ≥ 2 we prove the existence of a new family of periodic solutions for the spatial restricted (N +1)-body problem. In these solutions the infinitesimal particle is very far from the primaries. They have large inclinations
and some symmetries. In fact we extend results of Howison and Meyer (J. Diff. Equ. 163:174–197, 2000) from N = 2 to any positive integer N ≥ 2.

The correlation between specific activities of some natural radionuclides (238U, 226Ra, 232Th, 40K) measured in sediment taken from river bottom was studied. The sediment was taken from the Serbian part of the Danube River. Good correlation between some of the isotopes is observed, so that their specific activity ratios are spread over a lower range than specific activities themselves. This suggests that evaluation of specific activity ratios of some natural radionuclides could be a more sensitive method for the determination of increased levels of some of them than the straightforward analysis of specific activities. 相似文献
