A Numerical Model for Nonlinear Wave Propagation on Non-uniform Current

On the basis of the new type Boussinesq equations (Madsen et al.,2002),a set of equations explicitly including the effects of currents on waves are derived.A numerical implementation of the present equations in one dimension is described.The numerical model is tested for wave propagation in a wave flume of uniform depth with current present.The present numerical results are compared with those of other researchers.It is validated that the present numerical model can reasonably reflect the nonlinear influences of currents on waves.Moreover,the effects of inputting different incident boundary conditions on the calculated results are studied.     

浅谈海洋环境监测报告的审核

监测报告的审核是海洋环境监测质量保证工作的最后环节。文章结合日常开展海洋环境监测报告审核的工作实际,从审核制度、审核程序、审核人员资质、审核内容等方面,对监测报告的审核进行了阐述。     

Suspended load in flows on erodible bed

Steady state suspended-load of sediment transported in flow over erodible beds usually is treated by the advection-diffusion approach, though in recent years, it is being treated as a two-phase flow phenomenon incorporating kinetics of sediment particles. Among the advection-diffusion approaches, Rouse＇s equation is the well-known, although a number of researchers in later periods have attempted to improve it by modifying the mixing length concept taking into account other aspects. In this paper, the advection-diffusion approach and associated logarithmic law of flow velocity are revisited. It is concluded from the logarithmic law that the Reynolds shear stress is a linear function of height above the bed, which reduces to bed shear stress in the case of a long horizontal channel. As a consequence, it is shown that the volumetric concentration of sediment is best approximated by the sum of two power laws of height above the bed. An equation is derived for the suspended-load transport rate in terms of elementary functions.     

基于计算机仿真的火灾时人员安全疏散可靠度分析

火灾中的人员疏散是个复杂的过程,受到诸多因素的共同影响,传统的人员疏散可靠度分析常常忽略这些因素之间的相互作用。为更准确地计算出火灾中人员疏散的可靠度,本文以某地铁车站为例,借助人员疏散仿真软件buildingEXODUS与火灾模拟程序FDS,分别得到人员所需安全疏散时间（RSET）和可利用安全疏散时间（ASET）。在此基础上,构造人员安全疏散极限状态方程,利用一次二阶矩理论求得安全疏散可靠概率。由于能够较好地反映疏散过程中各影响因素之间的相互作用,因此,采用本文提出的可靠度分析方法能够得到更舍理的结果。     

利用脉动记录反演台湾海峡面波的群速度的初步探讨

在地震研究中,地震波波速异常的探讨进行的比较早。但自1978年以后,波速异常的研究便处于缓慢发展和检验阶段。除此之外,目前对于波速的测定还受到地震发生与否、台站位置、记录效果以及地震定位的精确性等的局限。近些年,有很多研究人员将目标转向脉动记录,希望能够通过脉动记录来得到该地区面波的传播速度,进而反演出地下介质的结构并监测其变化情况。     

“苏门答腊特大地震海啸的减灾策略”项目概述

2004年12月发生的苏门答腊岛近海地震和印度洋大海啸给印度洋周边各国带来了前所未有的大灾难。为了研究减轻特大地震和海啸灾害的策略,日本及相关各国的研究人员进行了3年综合性国际调查研究,现将这项研究概略地报告如下。

南极冰原坍塌可能致海平面上升3.3米将对一些沿海国家造成巨大威胁

英国和荷兰研究人员5月14日公布研究报告说,如果南极西部冰原坍塌,全球海平面可能会在数百年内平均上升约3.3米。尽管该数据低于一些科学家此前的预计,但对一些沿海国家来说,仍会造成巨大威胁。     

科学家首次绘制喜马拉雅断层与俯冲带完整图像

一个由多国研究人员组成的研究小组已成功创建了崎岖的喜马拉雅山脉下地壳与上地幔的最完整的地震影像。他们在研究过程中,发现了一些特殊的地质特征,这些特征可能会更好地解释该区域的进化演变过程。科学家们的最新发现已发表在《科学》杂志上,这些发现能够解释世界上最大的且正在增高的山脉一喜马拉雅山的形成。
