X射线荧光光谱-电子探针在中酸性火山岩鉴定中的应用   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
中酸性火山岩多具斑状结构,基质可见微晶状结构、隐晶状结构、玻璃质结构等,由于基质矿物颗粒多细小,常用的偏光显微镜受放大倍数的限制,很难准确鉴定矿物种属及含量,这类岩石仅依靠偏光显微镜分类命名会存在误差。本文采用X射线荧光光谱(XRF)、电子探针(EMPA)和偏光显微镜下观察相结合的方法,对中酸性火山岩进行鉴定。结果表明:对于基质呈隐晶质、显微晶质的中酸性火山岩,基质特征相似,偏光显微镜下无法确定长石、石英的含量,因此无法对岩石准确命名;再通过XRF进行主量元素分析,并对分析结果进行标准矿物QAPF双三角图解分类、TAS图解分类及李氏火山岩定量分类,对比结果显示三种分类命名方法存在差异;通过电子探针对矿物进行校验显示,QAPF及李氏火山岩定量分类图解与显微镜下鉴定相符,TAS图解与其他分析结果存在一定偏差。因此,对于中酸性火山岩准确命名,应采用多种分析方法相结合的方式,避免测试单一引起的误差。  相似文献

运用LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb测年获得库鲁塔格西山口地区北塞纳尔塔格组蚀变流纹岩的形成时代为841.0±1.4Ma(MSWD=0.42), 蚀变流纹岩的发现指示塔里木北缘新元古代中期除发育大量的侵入岩外还存在火山活动。地球化学特征分析表明, 岩石富集Rb、 Ba、 K等大离子亲石元素和轻稀土元素, 明显亏损Nb、 Ta、 P、 Ti等高场强元素。此外岩石富集Sr、 强烈亏损Y和Yb, 高的Sr/Y(>40)和(La/Yb)N(>40)比值的特征与埃达克岩类似。蚀变流纹岩Hf同位素值εHf(t)=-29~-9, Hf的二阶段模式年龄TDM2=3.43~2.24Ga, 结合岩石较低的Mg#、 Eu正异常以及强烈亏损重稀土元素的特征表明,其可能源于加厚古老基性下地壳的部分熔融。此外蚀变流纹岩低的锆石饱和温度TZr=761℃~768℃,表明源区发生部分熔融时存在外来流体的加入。结合已有区域地质资料, 初步认为蚀变流纹岩形成与塔里木北缘新元古代早、 中期洋—陆俯冲碰撞作用有关。  相似文献

A long-term record of surface currents from a high-frequency radar system, along with near-surface hydrographic transects, moored current meter records, and satellite imagery, are analyzed to determine the relative importance of river discharge, wind, and tides in driving the surface flow in the Fraser River plume. The observations show a great deal of oceanographic and instrumental variability. However, averaged quantities yielded robust results. The effect of river flow, which determines buoyancy and inertia near the river mouth, was found by taking a long-term average. The resulting flow field was dominated by a jet with two asymmetric gyres; the anticyclonic gyre to the north had flow speeds consistent with geostrophy. The mean flow speed near the river mouth was 14.3?cm?s–1, while the flow further afield was 5?cm?s–1 or less. Wind stress and surface currents were highly coherent in the subtidal frequency band. Northwesterly winds drive a surface flow to the southeast at speeds of nearly 30?cm?s–1. Southeasterly winds drive a surface flow to the northwest at speeds reaching 20?cm?s–1; however, there is more spatial variability in speed and direction relative to the northwesterly wind case. A harmonic analysis was used to extract the tidally driven flows. Ellipse parameters for the major tidal constituents varied considerably in both alignment and aspect ratio over the radar domain, in direct contrast to a barotropic model which predicted rectilinear flow along the Strait of Georgia. This is a result of water filling and draining the shallow mud flats north of the Fraser's main channel. The M2 velocities at the surface were also weaker than their barotropic counterparts. However, the shallow water constituent MK3 was enhanced at the surface and nearly as strong as the mean flow, implying that non-linear interactions are important to surface dynamics.  相似文献

Major and trace elements, noble gases, and stable (δD, δ18O) and cosmogenic (3H, 14C) isotopes were measured from geothermal fluids in two adjacent geothermal areas in NW-Mexico, Las Tres Vírgenes (LTV) and Cerro Prieto (CP). The goal is to trace the origin of reservoir fluids and to place paleoclimate and structural-volcanic constraints in the region. Measured 3He/4He (R) ratios normalized to the atmospheric value (Ra = 1.386 × 10−6) vary between 2.73 and 4.77 and are compatible with mixing between a mantle component varying between 42 and 77% of mantle helium and a crustal, radiogenic He component with contributions varying between 23% and 58%. Apparent U–Th/4He ages for CP fluids (0.7–7 Ma) suggest the presence of a sustained 4He flux from a granitic basement or from mixing with connate brines, deposited during the Colorado River delta formation (1.5–3 Ma). Radiogenic in situ 4He production age modeling at LTV, combined with the presence of radiogenic carbon (1.89 ± 0.11 pmC – 35.61 ± 0.28 pmC) and the absence of tritium strongly suggest the Quaternary infiltration of meteoric water into the LTV geothermal reservoir, ranging between 4 and 31 ka BP. The present geochemical heterogeneity of LTV fluids can be reconstructed by mixing Late Pleistocene – Early Holocene meteoric water (58–75%) with a fossil seawater component (25–42%), as evidenced by Br/Cl and stable isotope trends. CP geothermal water is composed of infiltrated Colorado River water with a minor impact by halite dissolution, whereas a vapor-dominated sample is composed of Colorado River water and vapor from deeper levels. δD values for the LTV meteoric end-member, which are 20‰–44‰ depleted with respect to present-day precipitation, as well as calculated annual paleotemperatures 6.9–13.6 °C lower than present average temperatures in Baja California point to the presence of humid and cooler climatic conditions in the Baja California peninsula during the final stage of the Last Glacial Pluvial period. Quaternary recharge of the LTV geothermal reservoir is related to elevated precipitation rates during cooler-humid climate intervals in the Late Pleistocene and Early Holocene. The probable replacement of connate water or pore fluids by infiltrating surface water might have been triggered by enhanced fracture and fault permeability through contemporaneous tectonic–volcanic activity in the Las Tres Vírgenes region. Fast hydrothermal alteration processes caused a secondary, positive δ18O-shift from 4‰ to 6‰ for LTV and from 2‰ to 4‰ for CP geothermal fluids since the Late Glacial infiltration.  相似文献

The Neoproterozoic to Cambrian Selwyn Block in Central Victoria forms the mainly unexposed basement to the Paleozoic metasediments, granitic rocks and felsic volcanic complexes of the Melbourne Zone of the Lachlan Orogen. The Late Devonian felsic rocks are largely products of partial melting of the Selwyn Block, and their chemistry implies that their sources were most probably arc-related andesite, dacite, volcaniclastic greywackes and some pelites. When plotted against the median longitudes of the plutons and volcanic complexes, the average values for 87Sr/86Srt and ?Ndt (at 370 Ma) reveal broad trends interpreted to reflect possible compositional and/or age structure in the Selwyn Block. Assuming that the trends are real, from W to E, I-type sources are progressively less crustally evolved, probably younging eastward. The S-type sources show no trend in ?Ndt, suggesting that there was efficient sediment mixing. The 87Sr/86Srt values, however, become more evolved eastward (opposite in sense to the apparent variation in the I-type sources). This is interpreted as the original Selwyn Block sediments having been more pelitic eastward, perhaps suggesting a deepening of the basin in this direction, as well as structurally upward in the succession. The opposite senses of variation highlights the spatial separation of the S- and I-type sources and suggest that the granitic magmas here are unlikely to represent any sort of mixing continuum.  相似文献

长江中下游成矿带庐枞盆地小包庄铁矿床地质特征研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
罗河铁矿床位于长江中下游成矿带内庐枞火山岩盆地的西北部,是成矿带内已发现规模最大的铁矿床。2013年在罗河铁矿床深部又勘探新发现了小包庄大型铁矿床,这是长江中下游成矿带内近年来重大找矿突破之一,具有重要的理论研究意义和勘探应用价值。本文在前人工作基础上,基于详细的钻孔观察和系统的岩相学、矿相学工作并结合电子探针测试分析,研究了小包庄铁矿床的矿化蚀变特征,厘定了矿床的成矿阶段,分析了成矿作用过程,并初步探讨了矿床成因。研究表明,罗河铁矿床和小包庄铁矿床为同一成矿系统在不同深度成矿作用的产物。小包庄铁矿床主矿体矿呈厚大的透镜状、似层状产于砖桥组地层中,位于罗河铁矿床主矿体之下约800~1000m,主要由浸染状矿体组成。矿床中金属矿物主要为磁铁矿和黄铁矿,非金属矿物主要为硬石膏、透辉石和碳酸盐,矿石的代表性矿物组合为磁铁矿-硬石膏-透辉石。矿石的结构构造主要有浸染状构造、脉状构造、块状构造、自形-半自形粒状结构、他形粒状结构和筛状结构等。矿床围岩蚀变强烈,主要蚀变类型有碱性长石化、透辉石化、绿泥石化、绿帘石化、碳酸盐化和硬石膏化。小包庄铁矿床形成经历了热液期的四个阶段,即碱性长石阶段、透辉石-硬石膏-磁铁矿阶段、绿泥石-绿帘石-碳酸盐阶段和硬石膏-黄铁矿-碳酸盐-石英阶段,其中,铁矿化主要发育于透辉石-硬石膏-磁铁矿阶段。通过矿床地质特征的分析以及与宁芜地区铁矿床的对比研究,本文认为小包庄铁矿床成矿物质和成矿流体来源于深部的闪长质侵入岩(?),而矿化发育在远离侵入岩或次火山岩之上的火山岩中,明显有别于宁芜地区玢岩铁矿床,类似于智利安第斯成矿带中部分产于安山质火山岩中的磁铁矿-磷灰石型矿床,是长江中下游成矿带中产于火山岩中的一类特殊类型的玢岩型铁矿。  相似文献

Volcanic eruptions can significantly cool the global troposphere on the time scales from several months up to a decade due to reflection of solar radiation by sulfate aerosols and feedback mechanisms in the climate system. The impact of volcanic eruptions on global climate are discussed in many studies. However, few studies have been done on the impact of volcanic eruption on climate change in China in the past millennium. The 1300-year and 600-year temperature series were reconstructed based on the six tree-ring temperature proxy data in northeastern and southeastern Tibetan Plateau, respectively. Three warm periods occurred in 670-920,1000-1310 and 1590-1930, and three cold periods happened at 920-1000,1310-1590 and 1930-2000 in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau. There were two obviously warm periods (1385-1450 and 1570-1820) and two cold periods (1450-1570 and 1820-2000) in southeastern Tibetan Plateau. Contrasting with volcanic eruption chronology, we analyzed the relationship between volcanic activity and temperature variation in the eastern Tibetan plateau during the past millennium using Superposed Epoch Analysis (SEA) method. The results indicated that the temperature decreased one year after large volcanic eruptions located beteen 10°S and 10°N in latitude in northeastern Tibetan Plateau and two years in southeastern Tibetan Plateau. The volcanic eruptions occurred at different latitudes have different impacts on the temperature variations, which may be caused by regional difference, the nature of the eruption, the magnitude of the resulting change in incoming solar radiation, prevailing background climate and internal variability, season, latitude, and other considerations.  相似文献

In order to investigate the geological significance of the large area of volcanics in the Uplift bell of Mingshan in western Chifeng,When carrying out the I :5 million regional mineral geological survey in the area,Through the research work of field geology investigation, petrology, LA-1CP-MS zircon U-Pb isotopic dating and regional stratigraphic correlation and so on.Found that the volcano rocks in the area is different from the Late Jurassic-Early Cretaceous volcanic rocks. And the obvious green alteration phenomenon was developed : The dating results of the Hornblende andesite in the lower parts is 273. 6±2. 2 Ma,it should belong to the Permian Elitu formation^ The Volcanics in the area belong to Calc-Alkaline-high-k calc-Alkaline series volcanic rocks. And volcanic magma experienced the separation and crystallization of minerals, it was the product of the continuous evolution of cognate magma, having the Characteristics that from bottom to top Intermediate-Mafic to Acidic magmatic evolution and the REE content increased gradually 0 Studies suggest that the Formation of volcanic rocks in the area is related to the ancient Asian Ocean to the North China block subduction in the Late Paleozoic period . It should be formed in the Archean to Proterozoic crystalline basement and late devonian magma Kemelting eruption, the tectonic environment formation of the volcanics in this area was andreessen arcc.  相似文献

不同岩性的火山岩其储集性能差异甚远,准确识别火山岩岩性对于火山岩储层的研究具有重要意义。研究区春风油田石炭系储层以火山岩为主,过渡类型较多,岩性较为复杂。利用岩心观察、薄片鉴定、地化分析等方法确定研究区发育火山熔岩类和火山碎屑岩类两类火山岩,其中,火山熔岩包括玄武岩、安山玄武岩、玄武安山岩以及安山岩,火山碎屑岩有凝灰岩和火山角砾岩等。通过识别出的岩性标定测井,分析每种岩性的测井响应特征,利用交会图法和星形图法,建立了不同岩性的识别标准。  相似文献
