The invasive green alga Caulerpa racemosa var. cylindracea represents an important threat to the diversity of Mediterranean benthic coastal ecosystems by interfering with native species and modifying benthic assemblages. The present study deals, for the first time, with the temporal and spatial variability of the biomass and phenology of C. racemosa considering both deep- and shallow-water populations. Two sampling depths (30 and 10 m) were sampled at three different rocky bottom sites every 3 months in the Archipelago of Cabrera National Park (Western Mediterranean). All morphometric variables analysed showed a spatial variation and temporal patterns depending on depth. Between depths, C. racemosa biomass, stolon length, number of fronds and frond length were usually significantly higher at deep-water populations, suggesting that C. racemosa grows better in deep-waters. Deep- and shallow-water populations displayed a high temporal variation although no evidence of seasonal patterns was found, in contrast with what has been reported by other authors. The sources of this variability are still unknown but probably both physical factors and differential herbivory pressures display a key role. 相似文献

The pathological changes of hemocytes in the haemolymph and hepatopancreas were examined in experimentally and naturally WSSV
(white spot syndrome virus) infected Fenneropenaeus chinensis. The results showed that the pathological manifestations of hemocytes were similar among moribund shrimps infected via injection,
feeding and by nature. Firstly, the total hemocyte counts (THCs) in WSSV-infected shrimp were significantly lower than those
in healthy shrimp. Secondly, necrotic, broken and disintegrated cells were often observed, and a typical hematolysis was present
in the haemolymph smear of WSSV-infected shrimp. Thirdly, necrosis and typical apoptosis of hemocytes were detected with TEM
in the peripheral haemolymph of WSSV-infected shrimp. Hyalinocytes and semi-granulocytes with masses of WSSVs in their nuclei
often appeared, whereas no granular hemocytes with WSSV were found in the hepatopancreas of moribund infected shrimps. All
our results supported that hemocytes were the main target cells of WSSV, and hyalinocytes and semigranular hemocytes seemed

雷暴大风是影响铁路建设和交通运营安全的主要气象灾害之一,而川藏铁路作为连接四川省和西藏自治区的干线铁路,其沿线地理形势复杂,气候特征多样,被称为“最难建的铁路”,本文旨在定量分析川藏地区和川藏铁路的风场变化特征,以为川藏铁路建设和铁路列车运行、防灾减灾以及实时动态监测预警和风险评估提供科学依据。文章采用2004—2020年地面气象站观测风场和2006—2020年极大风风速资料,结合2000—2020年近21年的NCEP FNL地面风场数据,对川藏地区和川藏铁路沿线拉萨、林芝、雅安、成都4个高铁站附近的风场时空分布特征和变化规律进行分析,研究表明:(1)川藏地区西部风力高于东部,高原内陆风力大于高原东南缘和四川省。11月至次年3月是高原内陆风速最大的月份,月平均风速在高原北部和南缘能够达到7 m/s以上,夏秋季风速较小。(2)选取川藏铁路沿线拉萨站、林芝站、雅安站和成都站4个站点风场进行分析,风速表现为高原西部向东部减小的趋势。(3)在研究时段内,2018—2020年川藏铁路沿线平均风速和极大风速均呈明显增加趋势,拉萨和林芝站的大风日数也有所增加,因此2018年以来川藏铁路沿线处于风速上... 相似文献

There is currently a critical knowledge gap in how eutrophication and climate variables separately and interactively impact the dynamics of marine ecosystems. Based on long-term monitoring data we quantified the separate and combined impacts of nutrient loading, temperature, salinity, and wind conditions on zooplankton, zoobenthos and fish inhabiting a brackish water ecosystem in the Gulf of Riga. Changes in zoobenthos communities and herring stock were largely explained by climate variables. Zooplankton species were related to both eutrophication and climate variables, and models combining all environmental variables explained additional variation in zooplankton data compared to the separate models of climate and eutrophication. This suggests that zoobenthos communities and herring stock are largely driven by weather conditions, whereas the combined effect of weather and nutrient loads are likely the cause for dynamic zooplankton communities in the Gulf of Riga. 相似文献

Changes in the biomass and species composition of phytoplankton may reflect major shifts in environmental conditions. We investigated relationships between the late summer biomass of different phytoplankton taxa and environmental factors, and their long-term (1979–2003) trends in two areas of the Baltic Sea, the northern Baltic proper (NBP) and the Gulf of Finland (GF), with statistical analyses. An increasing trend was found in late summer temperature and chlorophyll a of the surface water layer (0–10 m) in both areas. There was also a significant decrease in summer salinity and an increase in winter dissolved inorganic nitrogen to phosphorus (DIN:DIP) ratio in the NBP, as well as increases in winter DIN concentrations and DIN:SiO4 ratio in the GF. Simultaneously, the biomass of chrysophytes and chlorophytes increased in both areas. In the NBP, also the biomass of dinophytes increased and that of euglenophytes decreased, whereas in the GF, cyanobacteria increased and cryptophytes decreased. Redundancy analysis (RDA) indicated that summer temperature and winter DIN concentration were the most important factors with respect to changes in the phytoplankton community structure. Thus, the phytoplankton communities seem to reflect both hydrographic changes and the ongoing eutrophication process in the northern Baltic Sea. 相似文献
