俯冲带中的水在壳幔演化和物质交换中起重要作用。本文就俯冲带中水的物理化学性质、溶液中的离子缔合、混溶、主量元素与微量元素组成等方面进行了阐述。重点剖析:1)超临界态下温度压力条件的改变导致水微观结构与性质的变化,扩散系数、粘度等性质随之改变,进而对水岩反应产生影响;2)富水流体中离子缔合影响着金属配合物数量,很大程度制约流体中矿物的溶解行为;3)低Cl流体中微量元素配分模式与岛弧玄武岩类似,意味着富水贫氯碱性硅酸盐成分的流体在地幔楔元素运移中起关键作用。并展望了俯冲带中流体化学性质研究的新手段。  相似文献

Ground velocity records of the 20 May 2016 Petermann Ranges earthquake are used to calculate its centroid-moment-tensor in the 3?D heterogeneous Earth model AuSREM. The global-centroid-moment-tensor reported a depth of 12?km, which is the shallowest allowed depth in the algorithm. Solutions from other global and local agencies indicate that the event occurred within the top 12?km of the crust, but the locations vary laterally by up to 100?km. We perform a centroid-moment-tensor inversion through a spatiotemporal grid search in 3?D allowing for time shifts around the origin time. Our 3?D grid encompasses the locations of all proposed global solutions. The inversion produces an ensemble of solutions that constrain the depth, lateral location of the centroid, and strike, dip and rake of the fault. The centroid location stands out with a clear peak in the correlation between real and synthetic data for a depth of 1?km at longitude 129.8° and latitude –25.6°. A collection of acceptable solutions at this centroid location, produced by different time shifts, constrain the fault strike to be 304?±?4° or 138?±?1°. The two nodal planes have dip angles of 64?±?5° and 26?±?4° and rake angles of 96?±?2° and 77?±?5°, respectively. The southwest-dipping nodal plane with the dip angle of 64° could be seen as part of a near vertical splay fault system at the end of the Woodroffe Thrust. The other nodal plane could be interpreted as a conjugate fault rupturing perpendicular to the splay structure. We speculate that the latter is more likely, since the hypocentres reported by several agencies, including the Geoscience Australia, as well as the majority of aftershocks are all located to the northeast of our preferred centroid location. Our best estimate for the moment magnitude of this event is 5.9. The optimum centroid is located on the 20?km surface rupture caused by the earthquake. Given the estimated magnitude, the long surface rupture requires only ~4?km of rupture down dip, which is in agreement with the shallow centroid depth we obtained.  相似文献

The southeastern Lachlan Fold Belt at Batemans Bay on the New South Wales south coast is an accretionary complex with a prolonged deformation history. Early features include synsedimentary folds, mélange, disaggregated bedding and faults. Fabrics within the clast-in-matrix mélange and mudstone match those found in cores from the lower slopes of modern accretionary prisms. At the toe of the accretionary prism, the contact between the craton-derived Adaminaby Group and ocean floor deposits of the Wagonga Group is conformable. As subduction continued, the early structures were overprinted by (D1) deformation that produced meridional north – south-trending, tight to isoclinal folds (F1) and associated axial-plane cleavage (S1). This west-dipping subduction occurred in the Late Ordovician/Early Silurian but probably began much earlier. A younger regional deformation (D2) resulted in north – south-trending, open to tight folds (F2), slightly oblique to F1, and an axial-surface cleavage (S2).  相似文献

To examine the tectonic history of the Taiwan segment of the eastern margin of South China, six rock samples from the Tailuko belt, the metamorphic basement of Taiwan, were selected for zircon SHRIMP dating. The aim was to identify evidence shedding light on the timing of the change from passive to active tectonics for this part of the continental margin since South China separated from the supercontinent of Rodinia. The results lead to two age groups, 190–200 and 88–90 Ma. These age groups, augmented by the previously published age data, suggest that they could have resulted from two Mesozoic accretion/subduction events. In addition, this mid‐late Mesozoic Tailuko belt might have also been reactivated and structurally complicated by the late Cenozoic collision/accretion of the Luzon arc with the Eurasian continent. Records of older tectonic events, such as those derived from the Japanese Islands, are absent in this metamorphic basement. An important finding of this study is the existence of the 191±10 Ma Talun metagranite, the oldest granitic intrusion ever reported in the Taiwan region and along the eastern coast area of South China. In spite of a large age uncertainty, the occurrence of this metagranite is not consistent with the apparent younging trend of Jurassic‐Cretaceous igneous activity toward the coastline in South China, and should be taken into consideration by future studies.  相似文献

Baguio, in the Central Cordillera of Northern Luzon, is a district that displays porphyry copper and epithermal gold mineralization, associated with Early Miocene–Pliocene–Quaternary calc‐alkaline and adakitic intrusions. Systematic sampling, K‐Ar dating, major and trace elements, and Sr, Nd, Pb isotopic analyses of fresh magmatic rocks indicate three magmatic pulses: an Early Miocene phase (21.2–18.7 Ma), a Middle–Late Miocene phase (15.3–8 Ma) and finally a Pliocene–Quaternary event (3–1 Ma). The first phase emplaced evolved calc‐alkaline magmas, essentially within the Agno Batholith complex, and is thought to be related to the westward‐dipping subduction of the West Philippine Basin. After a quiescence period during which the Kennon limestone was deposited, magmatic activity resumed at 15.3 Ma, in connection with the start of the subduction of the South China Sea along the Manila Trench. It emplaced first petrogenetically related and relatively unradiogenic low‐K calc‐alkaline lavas and intermediate adakites. Temporal geochemical patterns observed from 15.3 to 1 Ma include progressive enrichment in K and other large ion lithophile elements, increase in radiogenic Sr and Pb and corresponding decrease in radiogenic Nd. These features are thought to reflect the progressive addition to the Luzon arc mantle wedge of incompatible elements largely inherited from South China Sea sediments. The origin of the long quiescence period, from 8 to 3 Ma, remains problematic. It might represent a local consequence of the docking of the Zambales ophiolitic terrane to Northern Luzon. Then, magmatic activity resumed at 3 Ma, emplacing chemically diversified rocks ranging from low K to high K and including a large proportion of adakites, especially during the Quaternary (dacitic plugs). The authors tentatively relate this diversity to the development of a slab tear linked with the subduction of the fossil South China Sea ridge beneath the Baguio area.  相似文献

In northwestern California, the Franciscan subduction complex has been subdivided into seven major tectonostratigraphic units. We report U-Pb ages of ≈2400 detrital zircon grains from 26 sandstone samples from 5 of these units. Here, we tabulate each unit’s interpreted predominant sediment source areas and depositional age range, ordered from the oldest to the youngest unit. (1) Yolla Bolly terrane: nearby Sierra Nevada batholith (SNB); ca. 118 to 98 Ma. Rare fossils had indicated that this unit was mostly 151–137 Ma, but it is mostly much younger. (2) Central Belt: SNB; ca. 103 to 53 Ma (but poorly constrained), again mostly younger than previously thought. (3) Yager terrane: distant Idaho batholith (IB); ca. 52 to 50 Ma. Much of the Yager’s detritus was shed during major core complex extension and erosion in Idaho that started 53 Ma. An Eocene Princeton River–Princeton submarine canyon system transported this detritus to the Great Valley forearc basin and thence to the Franciscan trench. (4) Coastal terrane: mostly IB, ±SNB, ±nearby Cascade arc, ±Nevada Cenozoic ignimbrite belt; 52 to <32 Ma. (5) King Range terrane: dominated by IB and SNB zircons; parts 16–14 Ma based on microfossils. Overall, some Franciscan units are younger than previously thought, making them more compatible with models for the growth of subduction complexes by progressive accretion. From ca. 118 to 70 Ma, Franciscan sediments were sourced mainly from the nearby Sierra Nevada region and were isolated from southwestern US and Mexican sources. From 53 to 49 Ma, the Franciscan was sourced from both Idaho and the Sierra Nevada. By 37–32 Ma, input from Idaho had ceased. The influx from Idaho probably reflects major tectonism in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, plus development of a through-going Princeton River to California, rather than radical changes in the subduction system at the Franciscan trench itself.  相似文献

福建白云山、鼓山和石牛山均位于福建沿海地带,该区域花岗岩类分布广泛。LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb定年结果显示,白云山、鼓山(魁歧)和石牛山地区花岗岩年龄分别为99.3Ma±1.8Ma、99.4Ma±2.3Ma和94.7Ma±1.4Ma,属晚白垩世早期的产物。花岗岩均具有富硅、富碱、贫钙镁、高分异指数等特点,属弱过铝到准铝质岩石。稀土元素具中-强Eu负异常,总体呈现轻稀土元素富集的右倾“V型”模式。微量元素Rb、U、Th、La等强烈富集,相对亏损Ba、Sr、P、Ti等元素。岩相学和地球化学特征分析表明,研究区花岗岩属典型的A型花岗岩,其中魁歧花岗岩为碱性A型花岗岩,其余地区为铝质A型花岗岩。研究表明,研究区A型花岗岩具有相似的源区组成;岩浆来源于地壳物质的部分熔融,并可能有部分地幔物质参与;碱性A型花岗岩较铝质A型花岗岩可能有更多的地幔物质加入。结合地球化学、野外地质、区域背景及年龄资料综合判定,中国东南沿海2类A型花岗岩为古太平洋板块俯冲体系中弧后伸展环境下的产物。  相似文献

An analysis and discussion of the main features and effects of the 1999global seismicity based especially on the inferred patterns of strong(Mw 7) earthquakes using NEIC/USGS data is presented.Based on the above data and their statistical features (see also Table 1)one may state that from the point of view of occurrence rate (number/yr)the 1999 global seismicity was fairly regular, but from the moment (orenergy) release standpoint it is well under the long-term average. The spacepartition was again rather typical and time distribution was quasi-Poissonian,noteworthy, the 1999 worldwide seismicity had an anomalously high deathtoll, to be discussed later. Two main new insights are brought by ouranalysis: (i) a (mega)quiescence along the whole south American segmentof circum-Pacific earthquake belt, which was inferred and rated asanomalous while it was underway and which, in retrospect, ended with thegreat (Mw = 8.4 HRV) 2001 Arequipa (Peru) event; (ii) an intriguingmonotonous rate decrease within only magnitude class 5.0 to 5.9 duringthe analyzed period (i.e., 1990–1999).  相似文献

A method concerning the evaluation, in a very compact form, of the non‐stationary modal cross‐correlation coefficients of MDOF structural systems subjected to seismic excitations is presented. It is available both in the case when the excitation is considered as a white‐noise process and when it is considered as a filtered process. The evaluation of these coefficients is required when a transient seismic analysis is performed by the use of the modal response spectrum approach. This paper presents a systematic procedure for the seismic response analysis of highway overcrossings. The study employs an elementary stick model and a more sophisticated finite element formulation to compute response quantities. All dynamic stiffnesses of approach embankments and pile groups are approximated with frequency‐independent springs and dashpots that have been established elsewhere. A real eigenvalue analysis confirms the one‐to‐one correspondence between modal characteristics obtained with the three‐dimensional finite element solutions and the result of the simpler stick‐model idealization. A complex eigenvalue analysis yields modal damping values in the first six modes of interest and shows that modal damping ratios assume values much higher than those used by Caltrans. The validity of the proposed method is examined by comparing the computed time response quantities with records from the Meloland Road and Painter Street overcrossings located in southern and northern California, respectively. The proposed procedure allows for inexpensive parametric analysis that examines the importance of considering soil–structure interaction at the end abutments and centre bent. Results and recommendations presented by past investigations are revisited and integrated in comprehensive tables that improve our understanding of the dynamic characteristics and behaviour of freeway overcrossings. The study concludes with a step‐by‐step methodology that allows for a simple, yet dependable dynamic analysis of freeway overcrossings, that involves a stick model and frequency‐independent springs and dashpots.
