在进行内蒙古1∶5万区域地质调查工作中,对内蒙古赤峰元宝山镇小建昌营子一带的下二叠统三面井组砂岩进行了粒度分析。结果表明,萨胡成因环境判别值为10.66~10.76,沉积环境为河流相或三角洲相;弗里德曼粒度参数判别为陆相河砂沉积;浊流C-M判别图解显示沉积环境介于三角洲与浊流沉积之间。三面井组总体为一套河流相-三角洲前缘滑塌浊积扇沉积。滑塌浊积扇一般发育于深湖、半深湖区,结合本地区三面井组地层中缺乏海相碳酸盐岩沉积,综合认为本区的三面井组形成于河流-湖泊三角洲环境。  相似文献

Depositional slope systems along continental margins contain a record of sediment transfer from shallow‐water to deep‐water environments and represent an important area for natural resource exploration. However, well‐preserved outcrops of large‐scale depositional slopes with seismic‐scale exposures and tectonically intact stratigraphy are uncommon. Outcrop characterization of smaller‐scale depositional slope systems (i.e. < 700 m of undecompacted shelf‐to‐basin relief) has led to increased understanding of stratigraphic packaging of prograding slopes. Detailed stacking patterns of facies and sedimentary body architecture for larger‐scale slope systems, however, remain understudied. The Cretaceous Tres Pasos Formation of the Magallanes Basin, southern Chile, presents a unique opportunity to evaluate the stratigraphic evolution of such a slope system from an outcrop perspective. Inherited tectonic relief from a precursor oceanic basin phase created shelf‐to‐basin bathymetry comparable with continental margin systems (~1000 m). Sedimentological and architectural data from the Tres Pasos Formation at Cerro Divisadero reveal a record of continental margin‐scale depositional slope progradation and aggradation. Slope progradation is manifested as a vertical pattern exhibiting increasing amounts of sediment bypass upwards, which is interpreted as reflecting increasing gradient conditions. The well‐exposed, seismic‐scale outcrop is characterized by four 20 to 70 m thick sandstone‐rich successions, separated by mudstone‐rich intervals of comparable thickness (40 to 90 m). Sedimentary body geometry, facies distribution, internal bedding architecture, sandstone richness and degree of amalgamation were analysed in detail across a continuous 2·5 km long transect parallel to depositional dip. Deposition in the lower section (Units 1 and 2) was dominated by poorly channellized to unconfined sand‐laden flows and accumulation of mud‐rich mass transport deposits, which is interpreted as representing a base of slope to lower slope setting. Evidence for channellization and indicators of bypass of coarse‐grained turbidity currents are more common in the upper part of the > 600 m thick succession (Units 3 and 4), which is interpreted as reflecting increased gradient conditions as the system accreted basinward.  相似文献

Across-shelf variations in thickness, grain size, and frequency of sandstone beds in a transgressive outer-shelf succession were investigated from the Middle Pleistocene (ca. 0.7 Ma) Kakinokidai Formation on the Boso Peninsula, Japan. The transgressive deposits are generally muddy and contain slumps and slump scars. The intercalated sandstone beds are interpreted to have been formed from turbidity currents as a response to erosion and resuspension of sandridge-complex deposits in the southwestern upslope area during storm events. Mapping of volcanic ash beds and a transgressive surface in the base of the formation permits detailed bed-by-bed correlation of the outer-shelf sandstone beds. Although, overall, thickness, grain size, and frequency of sandstone beds decrease in the downslope direction, some sandstone beds locally thin out and coarsen in association with slump scars in the surrounding muddy deposits. These sandstone beds subsequently thicken and fine, and finally thin out in the farther downslope area. In addition to the local thinning of sandstone beds, the frequency of sandstone beds first decreases and then increases in the farther offshore direction. From this evidence, we concluded that these non-uniform patterns of across-outer-shelf variations in thickness, grain size, and frequency of sandstone beds were caused by the local increases in flow speeds and subsequent expansion and reduced speeds of turbidity currents, along with a local increase in the seafloor gradient that was induced by the development of slump scars in the transgressive outer-shelf floor. These physiographic features in the outer shelf are interpreted not to have permitted monotonous downslope thinning and fining of sandstone beds, compared with the bed-shape models of depletive turbidity currents and with the proximality trend of shelf sandstones from modern and ancient highstand-stage shelf systems.  相似文献

以鄂尔多斯盆地ZH40区块水下浊积扇沉积体系为例,根据储层物性、铸体薄片鉴定、扫描电镜和X-衍射分析等资料,定量研究水下浊积扇沉积体系沉积微相对物性和成岩的控制作用。分析表明:从水下扇的扇根到扇中,再到扇缘,矿物成分成熟度呈先增加后降低的趋势,扇中微相的长石砂岩最为发育,成分成熟度和结构成熟度最好;在水下扇浊积体系中,扇中微相砂体的溶蚀作用和次生孔隙最为发育;扇根、扇中和扇缘微相砂体机械压实作用引起的孔隙度损失程度接近,而扇根和扇缘微相砂体的胶结作用强烈。储集层成岩作用研究和孔隙度预测中,必须考虑沉积微相的控制作用。  相似文献

The Ordovician Turquoise Bluff Slate in northeastern Tasmania is a 2?km-thick sequence of deep-marine siliceous black slates. It is dominated by meta-siltstones with bimodal grainsize distributions typical of turbidite TE-1 and TE-2 facies. The slates have high SiO2 indicating they are hemipelagites. The high Ba and V indicate they were deposited in an anoxic environment associated with high oceanic productivity. All these features are common in muddy turbidites. U–Th–Pb dating of detrital monazite and authigenic xenotime in the slates supports previous evidence that the dominant cleavage, in this unit, formed during the Benambran Orogeny. The whole-rock composition of the slates is similar to black slates in the Adaminaby Group, NSW. A review of Paleozoic whole-rock compositions from the Lachlan Orogen confirms they all have trace element contents similar to average Australian shale. However, there are subtle differences in composition. The Turquoise Bluff Slate and other Mathinna Supergroup rocks from the Eastern Tasmania Terrane have higher average Cr content than similar age turbidites from Victoria and NSW. This probably reflects a small contribution from Tasmania Cambrian ultramafic rocks in the provenance. If this were correct, northeastern Tasmania was closer to western Tasmania in the Paleozoic than other provinces of the Lachlan Orogen, southeastern Australia. Other subtle features of the whole-rock composition of Paleozoic sedimentary rocks from the Lachlan Orogen indicate it may be possible to recognise provincial variations in composition that will provide new constraints on tectonic models of southeastern Australia.  相似文献

运用近年来采集的高分辨率地震资料和多波束测深数据,在珠江海谷及西北次海盆深海平原区发现大规模发育的第四纪重力流沉积体系,该沉积体系沿珠江海谷以北西-南南东方向贯穿整个北部陆坡,进入西北次海盆后呈扇形展开,形成珠江海谷-西北次海盆大型深水浊积扇系统。据沉积体系空间展布特征差异,将珠江海谷划分为北、中、南三段,北段为过路侵蚀和水道下切,中段以水道充填和天然堤沉积为主,南段以水道-天然堤和朵叶体沉积共存为特征,揭示出北部陆坡珠江海谷是珠江口外陆缘物质输送海盆深海平原的主要通道;海盆区总体以朵叶体发育为特色,呈扇形展布。深水扇系统可分为三期次沉积体,其区域结构记录了重力流沉积物从侵蚀、卸载到南海海盆作为限制性盆地接收陆源沉积物的全过程,为“源-渠-汇”的研究构建了一个完美的范例。本文以珠江海谷-西北次海盆第四纪深水浊积扇沉积体系为例,完整地揭示了水道-扇体的组构和特征,清晰呈现了陆坡-海盆砂体展布的规律,可为建立南海北部新近纪早期深水扇形成模式提供参考,有助于指导南海深水油气勘探工作。  相似文献

〗鄂尔多斯盆地晚三叠世延长组长6、长7期的深湖区域经过钻探发现多套厚薄不等的浊积岩砂体。通过岩心观察描述及岩石结构、构造特征分析研究,得出鄂尔多斯盆地延长组长6、长7期湖盆深湖区域发育的浊积岩属于三角洲前缘滑塌成因;其中西南物源方向的辫状河三角洲前缘的深湖部位主要发育较粗粒滑塌浊积岩;盆地东北物源方向的曲流河三角洲前缘的深湖部位主要发育较细粒滑塌浊积岩。弄清鄂尔多斯盆地晚三叠世湖盆中浊积岩特征及分布规律,不仅对大型陆相湖盆深湖区浊积岩的形成机理与发育特征研究具有重要意义,而且对深湖区浊积岩中油气的成藏机理研究也具有指导作用。  相似文献

珠江口盆地恩平凹陷文昌组浊积体含油气性分析   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
岩性油气藏是目前油气勘探开发的重要方向和热点研究领域。珠江口盆地恩平凹陷古近系文昌组发育一厚300余米、面积约140 km2的浊积砂体,其上下岩性均为深湖—半深湖相暗色细粒沉积物。文昌组是该盆地最主要的烃源岩,具有形成岩性油气藏的物质条件。以地震资料为主,结合地质和测井等综合技术,对该浊积体的含油气性进行了综合分析。研究表明,浊积体具有低频振幅能量增强、高频振幅能量降低的特点;同时AVO异常,在浊积体下部表现出同相轴下拉现象。EP17 3 1井钻遇该浊积体边缘,在浊积砂体深度(4 552~4 642 m)出现异常高压。这些特点都是含油气的表现。因此,该浊积砂体是有利的勘探目标,也是该区获得油气勘探开发重大突破的希望所在。  相似文献

Gravity flow is a widely-distributed fluid type in nature. Various classification schemes of gravity flow are proposed by different researchers from different viewpoints. The scheme of turbidity flow and debris flow is adopted in this paper. The sedimentary characteristics of turbidite and sandy debrite are summarized and discussed to clarify most typical facies marks of these two rock types. The study shows that turbidite and sandy debris can be identified by the following typical characteristics during the outcrop and core observation: If the graded bedding is developed in sandstone,it should be identified as turbidite;if the muddy rip-up clast or no bedding structure(massive sandstone)is developed in sandstone,it should be identified as sandy debris. These characteristics are the most reliable signatures to distinguish turbidite and sandy debris. In addition,some other sedimentary structures such as deformation bedding,climbing ripple cross bedding,wavy bedding,parallel bedding,scouring surface,lithologic abrupt interface,and flute cast also have certain indicative significance. It is necessary to make a comprehensive judgment based on the sedimentary background,vertical combination of lithofacies,geophysics and other materials when these characteristics are presented in the study.  相似文献
