土石坝拟静力抗震稳定分析的强度折减有限元法   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0

基于拟静力抗震设计概念,提出利用强度折减有限单元法分析土石坝的抗震稳定性,给出了两种确定地震惯性力的方法:(1)依据《水工建筑物抗震设计规范》[1],并结合有关土石坝动态分布系数计算了沿坝高分布的地震惯性力;(2)直接利用土石坝有限元地震动力反应分析得到的单元节点加速度反应,依据建议的方法确定坝体各单元节点的地震惯性力。将上述计算确定的地震惯性力与其他形式的外荷载共同作用到土石坝上,采用强度折减有限元法确定土石坝坝体的拟静力抗震安全系数。对于稳定渗流期,水位降落期等不同工况,或需要考虑振动孔隙水压力作用的饱和无黏性土填筑坝等不同计算条件,给出了使用折减强度有限元法分析坝体抗震稳定性的实现途径和方法。研究表明,有限元法对边界条件、复杂断面条件和材料分区及荷载组合均具有较强的适应能力,因此,使用有限元法分析土石坝抗震稳定性具有显著的优越性。  相似文献

The Wavenumber approach was initially introduced as an ideal substitute for the rigorous type of analysis which had been the basis of extensive studies in seismic analysis of concrete gravity dams. The former technique is formulated in the context of pure finite element programming, while the latter relies heavily on a two-dimensional semi-infinite fluid element (i.e., hyper-element). Recently, a variation of Wavenumber method was proposed which was referred to as Wavenumber-TD approach. The approximation to the original technique improves its realm of application and allows it to be carried out in time domain as well as frequency domain. In that study, the formulation was examined for harmonic type of excitation which proved to be promising. Herein, this will be evaluated for its real intended application, which is transient analysis of dam-reservoir systems. For this aim, the prepared special purpose finite element program is modified and the analysis of Pine Flat dam is considered as a typical example. Several models are considered with different values of normalized reservoir length. In each case, the reservoir truncation surface is treated by Wavenumber-TD and the extensively utilized Sommerfeld conditions. The dynamic loading considered is the S69E component of Taft earthquake record. Furthermore, two types of reservoir bottom condition of full reflective as well as absorptive, are adopted. Overall, this will allow for a thorough examination and evaluation of Wavenumber-TD approach in regard to its effectiveness.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper presents a reach-scale sediment balance of a large impounded Mediterranean river (the lower Ebro, 1998–2008). Multi-temporal sediment storage and the influence of floods and tributaries on the sediment load were examined using continuous discharge and turbidity records. The mean annual suspended sediment load at the reach outlet (Xerta) is 0.12?×?106 t, corroborating previous results. Suspended sediment concentrations were low (SSCmean?=?13 mg L-1), attaining a maximum of 274 mg L-1. Erosion processes (channel-scour, bank erosion) are dominant, and net export of sediment occurs over the long term. Unexpectedly, ephemeral tributaries were found to contribute significantly: sediment delivered during torrential events attained 5% of the Ebro annual load, and was even larger than that in flushing flows. Overall, most of the suspended sediment load is transported by floods (up to 65% in some years). The results constitute basic information to underpin current management actions aiming to achieve the sustainability of the riverine and deltaic system.

Abstract

Small dams represent an important local-scale resource designed to increase water supply reliability in many parts of the world where hydrological variability is high. There is evidence that the number of farm dams has increased substantially over the last few decades. These developments can have a substantial impact on downstream flow volumes and patterns, water use and ecological functioning. The study reports on the application of a hydrological modelling approach to investigate the uncertainty associated with simulating the impacts of farm dams in several South African catchments. The focus of the study is on sensitivity analysis and the limitations of the data that would be typically available for water resources assessments. The uncertainty mainly arises from the methods and information that are available to estimate the dam properties and the water use from the dams. The impacts are not only related to the number and size of dams, but also the extent to which they are used for water supply as well as the nature of the climate and the natural hydrological regimes. The biggest source of uncertainty in South Africa appears to be associated with a lack of reliable information on volumes and patterns of water abstraction from the dams.

Abstract

Small dams fragment river landscapes, disrupting channel connectivity and impacting water quality and quantity. Although they impound volumetrically less total water than large dams, the ubiquity of small dams suggests their cumulative impacts could be significant. Documenting the distribution and characteristics of small dams is necessary to understanding and mitigating their impacts. In this study, we compare datasets of small dams in Oregon, compile a new comprehensive dataset, and document geographic variations in small dam distributions between different ecoregions. We used Oregon Water Resources Department dam and Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife fish passage barrier datasets to compare dam heights and contributing drainage areas between different ecoregions. Over 61% of Oregon’s land area is above one or more small dam. We highlight the location of Oregon’s small dams at valley margins, transition zones between flat plains and mountains, and areas of high population density. Given the hidden nature of small dams, evaluation of small dam impacts using public imagery is not effective. However, knowledge of small dam distributions given their association with landforms can aid in finding unrecorded dams, assessing approaches for evaluating their geomorphic impacts, and informing their management.  相似文献

利用切比雪夫多项式拟合卫星轨道,用经验统计法确定轨道不同弧段数据的满足精度要求的拟合阶数区间,发现非最佳拟合阶数会引入较大的拟合噪声,因此在精密计算时应选择最佳拟合阶数。本文用此多项式拟合卫星钟差,能达到内插钟差同等的精度,而且与拉格朗日滑动内插相比,拟合残差序列分布更好,计算效率更高;提出利用残差自相关进行精度评定的方法,当精度变化微小时相比一般的精度评定方法具有明显优势。  相似文献

在光学摄像测量中,各种数据的同步采集在事后处理中尤为重要。目前GPS授时同步技术已经很成熟,它具有精度高,操作灵活等优点,可以很好地应用于光学摄像测量中。本文深入研究了GPS OEM板授时原理,在分析了GPS OEM板芯片中RS232时间输出与1pps输出特点的基础上,基于VC开发环境下实现了GPS OEM板与计算机串口的通信,为摄像测量设置一精确的时间起点,再利用CPU时间戳进行高精度计时,这样整个测量系统就有一高精度的时钟,任一数据的产生都被标记上精确的绝对时刻,利用这些时刻信息就间接地实现了摄像测量数据的高精度同步。实验数据表明,该方法的同步精度可以达到毫秒级,可以满足光学摄像测量的同步精度要求。  相似文献

Based on raw data from dams damaged in the Wenchuan earthquake, including many that were severely damaged, characteristics and factors that influenced the damage are discussed in this paper. Findings from this study include: severely damaged dams were densely distributed along the seismologic fault; small dams, especially small earth-rock dams, had the most serious damage that was caused by a variety of factors; the most serious damage was caused by seismic waves; damage was aggregated by aftershocks; and the extent of the damage patterns increased with the seismic intensity. Damage patterns varied in different intensity zones and cracking was the most common type of damage. Most of the dams had a good base with relatively high bearing capacity, and the walls of the earth-rock dams were mostly of clay soil. This type of base and body material mitigated some of the damage to dams. Reservoir maintenance and other factors also have a significant impact on the seismic safety of the dam. Finally, some recommendations to reduce seismic damage to dams are proposed.  相似文献

Over emphasis on tests results involving base soils with increasing coefficient of uniformity (Cu ) makes the reliability of an empirical particle-based criterion for effective filters questionable. Extra measures such as regrading of base soil are then necessary in order to capture the effectiveness of filter constriction sizes in trapping eroding fines. Recent studies which focused on the role of the sizes of filter voids on overall filtration behaviour have deployed constriction size approaches that were shown to be equally acceptable methods for distinguishing between effective and ineffective filters. This paper examines the evolution of this approach, starting from past empirical and mathematical investigations and proceeding to the eventual development of geometric-probabilistic methods with special reference to embankment dams. Models based on dominant and controlling constriction sizes are introduced, and subsequently the constriction-based retention criteria for granular filters are presented. The proposed retention criteria were verified based on extensive experimental data taken from small- and large-scale filtration tests carried out by various authors. The integration of filter compaction, porosity and Cu , together with the incorporation of analytical principles, provides alternative and rigorous design approaches that remove most limitations of the conventional particle-based criteria, thus making the models essentially more comprehensive and quantifiable.  相似文献
