Material behaviour that exhibits characteristics of creep induced by a spontaneous mineral dissolution enhanced by material damage is studied. It is believed that the characteristic rates of the chemical processes involved determine the time‐rate dependence of the resulting strain. A basic model of a combined chemo‐plastic softening and chemically enhanced deviatoric strain hardening for saturated geomaterials is presented. Chemical softening is postulated to occur as a consequence of the net mass removal resulting from dissolution and precipitation of specific minerals occurring at the damage‐generated inter‐phase interfaces. Closed and open systems are discussed. In the former case, deformation at constant stress results entirely from a local compensation mechanism between the chemical softening and strain hardening. The classical three stages of creep are interpreted in terms of mechanisms of dissolution and precipitation, as well as the variation in the reaction surface areas involved in the mass exchange. In an open system, the above local mechanism is enhanced by the removal of mass via diffusion of species affecting the mass balance. The impact of road‐generated runoff on the hydrological response of a zero‐order basin was monitored for a sequence of 24 storm events. The study was conducted in a zero‐order basin (C1; 0·5ha) with an unpaved mountain road; an adjacent unroaded zero‐order basin (C2; 0·2 ha) with similar topography and lithology was used to evaluate the hydrological behaviour of the affected zero‐order basin prior to construction of the road. The impact of the road at the zero‐order basin scale was highly dependent on the antecedent soil‐moisture conditions, total storm precipitation, and to some extent rainfall intensity. At the beginning of the monitoring period, during dry antecedent conditions, road runoff contributed 50% of the total runoff and 70% of the peak flow from the affected catchment (C1). The response from the unroaded catchment was almost insignificant during dry antecedent conditions. As soil moisture increased, the road exerted less influence on the total runoff from the roaded catchment. For very wet conditions, the influence of road‐generated runoff on total outflow from the roaded catchment diminished to only 5·4%. Both catchments, roaded and unroaded, produced equivalent amount of outflow during very wet antecedent conditions on a unit area basis. The lag time between the rainfall and runoff peaks observed in the unroaded catchment during the monitoring period ranged from 0 to 4 h depending on the amount of precipitation and antecedent conditions, owing mainly to much slower subsurface flow pathways in the unroaded zero‐order basin. 已有的道路网匹配方法需要一定的人为干预和控制,仍无法实现匹配自动化,而且对于具有一定尺度差异的数据而言,受不相关道路对象的影响,匹配结果中会存在较多的误匹配。为此,本文提出一种顾及几何特征和拓扑连续性的由粗匹配到精匹配的分层匹配策略。粗匹配阶段,利用短边中位数Hausdorff距离计算匹配对象的相似度,再以道路网弧段端点的近邻分析结果作为匹配阈值,判断匹配对象是否为同名实体;精匹配阶段,将粗匹配阶段评价结果中离散的同名实体构建为完整的道路Stroke,即以追踪的方式剔除误匹配和添加漏匹配。利用宿城区不同尺度的道路网对所提算法进行验证,结果表明,该算法具有较好的匹配效果,能够实现匹配自动化。  相似文献

针对复杂网络模型被广泛应用于道路选取的研究中,少有方法顾及道路网对偶图中多级邻居节点的影响,导致对道路的重要性评价缺乏准确性和可靠性的问题。该文将道路网对偶图节点的结构特征值视作质量,将节点间的最短距离视作距离,结合引力场方程实现道路自动选取,较好地将道路网对偶图中多级邻居节点的影响纳入到道路重要性的计算中,从而实现对道路重要性的准确评估。通过对兰州市城关区的路网进行实验,结果表明本文方法所选取的路网较好地保持了原始道路网的整体结构、覆盖范围、密度分布、拓扑特征和连通性。  相似文献

应用耗散结构理论,基于广义相当位温构建大气排熵指数,利用常规观测资料、地面加密自动站雨量资料、NCEP/NCAR 1°×1°再分析资料等,对2008年7月21—23日一次西南低涡东移造成的河南省大范围暴雨过程的大气排熵指数进行诊断分析,结果表明:大气排熵指数的演变与此次西南涡暴雨落区和雨强关系密切,暴雨落在负排熵指数中心偏南一侧,大雨以上降水分布在排熵指数负值中心轴线附近及其偏南侧;强降水开始前,排熵指数明显减小,强降水持续时间与排熵指数低值维持时间联系紧密;雨强不仅与排熵指数低值有关,且与低值维持时间、6h变化量也有密切关系。排熵指数低值中心位置和中心值的强弱变化与该个例中西南低涡中心位置和其强弱变化具有较好一致性。  相似文献

The preferred depth of settlement and settlement period of two species of mussel spat were monitored at Yncyca Bay (NZMS1 S15 220460) and Wet Inlet (NZMS1 S16 265432) in the Marlborough Sounds on collectors suspended in 0–4 m of water between 20 October 1975 and 4 April 1976. Peak settlement of Mytilus edulis aoteanus was between 20 October 1975 and 4 January 1976, and decreased with increasing depth. Peak settlement of Perna canaliculus was between 16 February 1976 and 12 April 1976, and showed no preferred depth of settlement.

Capture of wild stocks of Mytilus edulis aoteanus and Perna canaliculus spat for use in aquaculture has become more reliable through accurate forecasting of peak settlement periods, and knowledge of preferred depth of settlement of the two species.

Preferred depth of settlement of spat may affect the shore zonation of mussels.  相似文献

Symmetrical relationships between humans and their environment have been referred to as an extension of symmetries in the human geographical system and have drawn great attention. This paper explored the symmetry between physical and human systems through fractal analysis of the road and drainage networks in Wuling mountainous area. We found that both the road and drainage networks reflect weak clustering distributions. The evolution of the road network shared a significant self-organizing composition, while the drainage network showed obvious double fraetal characteristics. The geometric fractal dimension of the road network was larger than that of the drainage network. In addition, when assigned a weight relating to hierarchy or length, neither the road network nor drainage network showed a fractal property. These findings indicated that the fractal evolution of the road network shared certain similarities with fractal distribution of the drainage network. The symmetry between the two systems resulted from an interactive process of destroying symmetry at the lower order and reconstructing symmetry at the higher order. The relationships between the fractal dimensions of the rural-urban road network, the drainage network andthe urban system indicated that the development of this area was to achieve the symmetrical isomorphism of physical-human geographical systems.  相似文献

Integrating heterogeneous spatial data is a crucial problem for geographical information systems (GIS) applications. Previous studies mainly focus on the matching of heterogeneous road networks or heterogeneous polygonal data sets. Few literatures attempt to approach the problem of integrating the point of interest (POI) from volunteered geographic information (VGI) and professional road networks from official mapping agencies. Hence, the article proposes an approach for integrating VGI POIs and professional road networks. The proposed method first generates a POI connectivity graph by mining the linear cluster patterns from POIs. Secondly, the matching nodes between the POI connectivity graph and the associated road network are fulfilled by probabilistic relaxation and refined by a vector median filtering (VMF). Finally, POIs are aligned to the road network by an affine transformation according to the matching nodes. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed method integrates both the POIs from VGI and the POIs from official mapping agencies with the associated road networks effectively and validly, providing a promising solution for enriching professional road networks by integrating VGI POIs.  相似文献
