综合分析了福建数字地震台网的记录特征,认为台湾省集集地震具有多重破裂的特征.根据Pn震相的走时方程构造出双曲线方程组,利用福建台网记录到的Pn波段震相的到时资料,测定了9.21台湾省集集地震8个破裂点的震中位置.结果表明,集集地震的最初破裂点位于23.94°N,120.77°E;接着破裂向初始破裂点的南北两侧扩展,且北侧的振幅大,整个过程至少持续了20 s;这8个破裂点的位置几乎成一直线排列,其方向与该区地块的运动方向相近.  相似文献

本文利用HHT(Hilbert-HUang Transform)研究了结构强震记录的时频特性及结构动力特性。介绍了一座7层钢混框架结构及其强震观测台阵概况以及经历的地震情况,选择了在3次有代表性地震中的强震记录,利用一种新的非平稳信号处理方法HHT对记录进行了处理和分析,得到了该结构强震记录的时频幅值三维分布以及边际谱,并将边际谱与傅里叶谱进行了对比,识别了结构的自振频率。研究表明,对结构强震记录这种强非平稳信号,可以利用HHT分析得到能量集中分布的频段与时间范围。HHT边际谱与傅里叶谱相比,在低频部分幅值要大于傅里叶谱,而在高频部分,幅值要小于傅里叶谱。利用结构强震记录识别的自振频率比环境振动测试结果要小。  相似文献

Two sediment cores (length 13.94 and 12.93 m) have been drilled from the small alpine Lake Luanhaizi in the eastern central Qilian Mountains and correlated by means of magnetic susceptibility (MS). This paper focuses on the lithology and chronology of the longer core, on the results of loss on ignition (LOI), element concentration, thermomagnetic as well as magnetic hysteresis loop measurements, and on the ostracod record.The recovered sediments represent three types of depositional environment: a shallow intermittent lake, a deeper permanent lake and a true playa lake. Three stages of a higher lake level and permanence of the water body are reconstructed. The lowermost stage of a permanent lake and inferred favourable environmental conditions occurred probably about 45 14C ka BP. The second stage of a deeper permanent lake occurred either shortly before or, more likely, following the LGM. Most favourable environmental conditions and highest water levels were reconstructed for the uppermost stage comprising the Holocene. Considering the lake record, glaciers have not reached the lake site at 3200 m altitude during the LGM, providing further evidence against a large ice sheet on the Tibetan Plateau.  相似文献

通过对西藏札达盆地上新世古格剖面的孢粉分析,上新世古格组地层沉积物记录了4.40~2.74 Ma时期该地区的植被与环境演化过程。4.40~3.75 Ma时期,气候温凉而干旱,呈现出暖温带针阔叶混交疏林植被景观;3.75~3.47 Ma时期,属于山地暖温带针阔叶混交林,气候由温凉干旱向温暖湿润过渡;3.47~3.20 Ma时期,植被发育,属于针阔叶混交林,气候以温暖湿润为主;3.20~2.96 Ma时期,植被以山地暖温带针阔叶混交林与山地寒温带针叶林交替变化为特征,气候开始向干冷方向发展;2.96~2.74 Ma时期,属山地寒温带暗针叶林特征,气候持续干冷。  相似文献

Since 1990, digital strong-motion accelerographs and global positioning system (GPS) instruments have been widely deployed in the Taiwan region (Shin et al. 2003; Yu et al. 2001). The 1999 Chi-Chi, Mw 7.6 earthquake and the 2003 Chengkung, Mw 6.8 earthquake were well recorded by both digital accelerographs and GPS instruments. These data offer a good opportunity to determine coseismic displacements from strong-motion records and to compare the results with those derived from GPS measurements. As noted by Boore (2001), a double integration of the acceleration data often leads to unreasonable results, and baseline corrections are therefore required in most cases before the integration. Based on the works of Iwan et al. (1985) and Boore (2001), we developed an improved method for baseline correction and validated it using an extensive set of data from shake-table tests of a known “step” displacement on 249 accelerographs. Our baseline correction method recovered about 97% of the actual displacement from the shake-table data. We then applied this baseline correction method to compute coseismic displacements from the strong-motion data of the Chi-Chi and Chengkung earthquakes. Our results agree favorably with the coseismic displacements determined by the GPS measurements at nearby sites. The ratio of seismic to geodetic displacement varies from 0.78 to 1.41, with an average of about 1.05.  相似文献

Analysis of the historical records of Etnas eruptive activity for the past three centuries shows that, after the large 1669 eruption, a period of about 60 years of low-level activity followed. Starting from 1727, explosive activity (strombolian, lava fountaining and subplinian) at the summit crater increased exponentially to the present day. Since 1763, the frequency of flank eruptions also increased and this value remained high until 1960; afterward it further increased sharply. In fact, the number of summit and flank eruptions between 1961 and 2003 was four times greater than that of the pre-1960 period. This long-term trend of escalating activity rules out a pattern of cyclic behaviour of the volcano. We propose instead that the 1670–2003 period most likely characterises a single eruptive cycle which began after the large 1669 eruption and which is still continuing.On the basis of the eruptive style, two distinct types of flank eruptions are recognised: Class A and Class B. Class A eruptions are mostly effusive with associated weak strombolian activity; Class B eruptions are characterised by effusive activity accompanied by intense, long-lasting, strombolian and lava fountaining activity that produces copious tephra fallouts, as during the 2001 and 2002–2003 eruptions. Over the past three centuries, seven Class B eruptions have taken place with vents located mainly on the south-eastern flank, indicating that this sector of the volcano is a preferential zone for the intrusion of volatile-rich magma rising from the deeper region of the Etna plumbing system.Electronic Supplementary Material Supplementary material is available for this article at Editorial responsibility: M. 桂林地区3个石笋分辨率达10~100a级的δ13C记录表明,全新世时期的古生态可以划分为森林植被由兴盛至退化(气候由暖湿至干凉)的3个旋回。早中期旋回人类活动影响较小,晚期旋回影响大,由于人类持续地对森林的破坏,草类植被得以生长,石漠化增强,石笋的δ13C值急速上升以后,很难再回复到全新世中期的水平。δ13C值大幅度跳跃式的下降,可以确定末次冰期旋回冰消期的终止点,其时限为10 700aB.P,与δ18O记录完全吻合,也可以与海洋氧同位素以及其它记录进行对比。  相似文献
