The fractionation of boron isotopes between synthetic boromuscovite and fluid was experimentally determined at 3.0 GPa/500 °C and 3.0 GPa/700 °C. For near-neutral fluids Δ11B(mica-fluid) = δ11B(mica) − δ11B(fluid) is − 10.9 ± 1.3‰ at 500 °C, and − 6.5 ± 0.4‰ at 700 °C. This supports earlier assumptions that the main fractionation effect is due to the change from trigonal coordination of boron in neutral fluids to tetrahedrally coordinated boron in micas, clays and melts. The T-dependence of this effect is approximated by the equation Δ11B(mica,clay,melt–neutral fluid) = − 10.69 · (1000/T [K]) + 3.88; R2 = 0.992, valid from 25 °C for fluid–clay up to about 1000 °C for fluid–silicate melt. Experiments at 0.4 GPa that used strongly basic fluids produced significantly lower fractionations with Δ11B(mica–fluid) of − 7.4 ± 1.0‰ at 400 °C, and − 4.8 ± 1.0‰ at 500 °C, showing the reduced fractionation effect when large amounts of boron in basic fluids are tetrahedrally coordinated. Field studies have shown that boron concentrations and 11B/10B-ratios in volcanic arcs systematically decrease across the arc with increasing distance from the trench, thus reflecting the thermal structure of the subducting slab. Our experiments show that the boron isotopic signature in volcanic arcs probably results from continuous dehydration of micas along a distinct PT range. Continuous slab dehydration and boron transport via fluid into the mantle wedge is responsible for the boron isotopic signature in volcanic arcs.  相似文献

The Jiyang Sag and the Liaohe Basin are the two important areas where immature oil resources are distributed in China. From these two areas immature-low mature to mature oil samples were collected for carbon isotopic analysis. The extracts of source rocks are dominant in the Jiyang Sag while crude oils are dominant in the Liaohe Basin. The maturity index, Ro, for source rocks varies from 0.25% (immature) to 0.65% (mature). Studies have shown that within this range of Ro values the extracts of source rocks and crude oils, as well as their fraction components, have experienced observable carbon isotope fractionation. The carbon isotopic values tend to increase with burial depth, the oils become from immature-low mature to mature, and the rules of evolution of oils show a three-stage evolution pattern, i. e., light→heavy→light→heavy oils. Such variation trend seems to be related to the occurrence of two hydrocarbon-generating processes and the main hydrocarbon-forming materials being correspondingly non-hydrocarbons and possessing MAB characteristics, lower thermodynamic effects and other factors. In the process towards the mature stage, with increasing thermodynamic effects, the thermal degradation of kerogens into oil has become the leading factor, and correspondingly the bond-breaking ratio of12C-13C also increases, making the relatively12C-rich materials at the low mature stage evolve again towards13C enrichment. Knowledge of phosphorus (P) variation regularity of sediment-water system has important influence on water pollution. Thus P variation regularity of top-sediment affected by some factors such as type of sediment (sandy and silty), background value of sediment, P concentration of overlaying water, inhibiter, disinfection, was investigated. The results stated that, (1) P in the sandy sediment occurred mainly in the form of insoluble P. Silty sediment with a low background level has higher dissoluble total phosphorus (DTP) content than silty sediment with a high background level. (2) Low-P primary liquid has low TP and DTP contents, TP in the overlying water was rich in DTP. While TP in overlying water of high P primary liquid was rich in insoluble total phosphorus (ITP). Overlying water of adding inhibitor set has high TP, dominated by ITP. TP in overlying water of no inhibitor set was dominated by DTP. Adding inhibitor set has obviously high pH value and tallish DO concentration in overlying water than in no inhibitor set. Disinfection set has high Pcontent in overlying water, DTP content is high. DO and ORP in overlying water of non-disinfection set were obviously higher than in that disinfection set.  相似文献

Concentrations and loads of nitrate and total phosphorus and the sources of these two nutrients were investigated at the Panjiakou and Daheiting Reservoir system in northern Hebei Province, the People's Republic of China. The Luanhe River is the primary source of water to these reservoirs. The response of the reservoir system from the phosphorus loading, with respect to chlorophyll-a production from algae, was fitted to a model of normalized phosphorus loading which regresses the average summer-time chlorophyll-a concentration to the average annual phosphorus concentration of the reservoir. The reservoirs have a primary use for drinking water and partially supplies the city of Tianjin with its annual supply, but secondary uses include flood control and aqua culture (fish cages). Comparison of the normalized phosphorus loading and chlorophyll-a response of this system to other reservoirs throughout the world from similar studies indicates an elevated level of eutrophication, which will require an approximate 10-fold decrease in phosphorus load reduction to bring the system to a more acceptable level of algal productivity. Isotopes of nitrogen and oxygen in dissolved nitrate were measured from the headwater streams and at various locations along the major river system that provides the majority of water to this reservoir, and within the two reservoirs.  相似文献

Forms of phosphorus in sediments from 25 lakes in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River were analyzed by the sequential extraction procedure. Contents and spatial distrubution of algal available phosphorus (AAP) in sediments of Lake Taihu, the third largest freshwater lake of China, were also studied. Relationships between phosphorus forms in sediment and macrophytes coverage in sample sites, as well as phosphorus forms in sediments and chlorophyal contents in lake water were discussed. Exchangeable form of phosphorus (Ex-P) in surface sediments was significantly positive correlative to total phosphorus (IP), dissolved total phosphorus (DTP) and soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP) contents in the lake water. Bioavailable phosphorus (Bio-P) contents in sediments from macrophytes dominant sites were significantly lower than that in no macrophyte sites. In Lake Taihu, Ex-P content in top 3 cm sediment was highest. However, content of ferric fraction phosphorus (Fe-P) was highest in 4 - 10 cm. Bioavalilble phosphorus (Bio-P) contents in surface sediments positively correlated to Chlorophyll a contents in water of Lake Taihu with significant difference. Therefore, contents of Bio-P and AAP could be acted as the indicators of risks of internal release of phosphorus in the shallow lakes. It was estimated that there were 268.6 ton AAP in top 1 cm sediments in Lake Taihu. Sediment suspension caused by strong wind-induced wave disturbance could carry plenty of AAP into water in large shallow lakes like Lake Taihu.  相似文献

Abstract   Middle Miocene to Quaternary primitive basalts and high magnesian andesite (HMA) in North Hokkaido resulted from three periods of intense volcanism; early-stage (12–10 Ma), middle-stage (9–7 Ma) and late-stage (3–0 Ma). Based on the chemical compositions of olivines and chromian spinels and bulk chemistry of the primitive rocks, we examined depths of segregation of the calculated primary magmas and the degrees of partial melting of the source mantle. In the context of asthenospheric mantle upwelling, petrological data from the present study can be accounted for by the secular change in the depth of magma segregation from the upwelled asthenospheric mantle, which is composed of fertile peridotite. Thus, the early-stage primary magmas were generated by higher degrees of partial melting of the shallower part of hot asthenospheric mantle, whereas the middle- and late-stage primary magmas resulted from lower degrees of partial melting of a deeper part of the asthenospheric mantle. The early-stage HMA magma was generated by partial melting of the remnant subcontinental lithospheric mantle composed of refractory peridotite. This melting might have resulted from an increased geothermal gradient caused by upwelling of hot asthenosphere.  相似文献

增量方法已成功地应用到硅酸盐矿物、金属氧化物、碳酸盐矿物和硫酸盐矿物氧同位素分馏系数的计算中。本文在对硫化物晶体结构与矿物学特点分析的基础上,通过详细分析前人对硅酸盐矿物和金属氧化物中氧同位素分馏的增量计算方法,将氧化物和硫化物的晶体特征加以对比,提出了计算硫化物中硫同位素分馏的增量计算方法。修正的增量方法根据硫化物的晶体化学结构特征,引入了一个重要的参数,即Madelung常数,用于指示不同结构的硫化物对~(34)S的富集能力。本文利用这一修正的增量方法计算出了0℃到1000℃温度范围内,磁黄铁矿、方铅矿、闪锌矿、黄铜矿、硫镉矿的10~3Inβ和它们之间的分馏系数10~3Inα。并给出这五种矿物间的~(34)S富集顺序:磁黄铁矿>硫镉矿>闪锌矿>黄铜矿>方铅矿。与前人的实验结果对比表明,本次计算结果与实验结果基本吻合。同时,增量计算方法成功地再现了任意硫化物中~(32)S、~(33)S、~(34)S和~(36)S这四种同位素之间确实存在一定的分馏比例关系。这说明尽管增量方法存在一定的局限性,但将其扩展到硫化物间硫同位素分馏的理论计算是可行的。  相似文献

为去除非火山物质对样品化学性质的影响,得到火山岩真实的地球化学及同位素组成数据,作者对采自冲绳海槽的酸性火山岩样品严格的前处理,其中海槽北段火山岩同位素数据以前还未见公开报道。根据所得U系同位素组成数据及其分布规律分辩混染物中俯冲板片的成分,结合Sr-Nd同位素组成,本文对海槽火山活动的岩石种类、物质来源和岩浆演化过程作了一些初步的讨论。结果表明,冲绳海槽酸性火山岩分布广泛,为钙碱性系列岩石,碱性弱(里特曼指数〈1.8);海槽岩浆主要源于地幔,源区同位素组成类似PREMA地幔,结晶分异作用是演化过程中最主要的地质作用,但岩浆也受到了不同程度地受到上地壳与/或俯冲板片物质的混入;根据混合模拟结果将海槽火山岩大致分成以上地壳物质混染为主和上地壳-俯冲板片混染两类,且认为上地壳混染发生在岩浆演化的晚期,此时岩浆体系SiO2含量要高于混染物。  相似文献

The variations of stable isotopic contents in falling raindrops are not only influenced by thehumidity conditions, but also by the stable isotopic contents in atmospheric vapor to a certainextent. If there is a difference between the isotopic contents in the vapor of the surrounding air andat the surface of the raindrops, the move of the isotopic contents from high to low values will beproduced. Usually. influenced by the evaporation process, the stable isotopic ratios in raindropsare constantly increased in the unsaturated atmosphere. The less the atmospheric humidity, themore obvious the increased range. As the enrichment rate of stable isotopes in raindrops is equal tothe outward isotopic move rate. the "pseudo-equilibrium state" appears. The influence ofevaporation on stable isotopic contents disappears in the saturated atmosphere, so that themagnitude of isotopic ratio in raindrops is dependent on the isotopic exchange between theraindrops and the surrounding atmosphere.  相似文献
