新疆钻孔应变异常特征及其与地震三要素关系研究

将新疆高精度钻孔应变仪１０年来观测到的应变异常划分为趋势异常、短期异常、临震异常三类，并对这三种异常的特征进行了分析总结．认为，地震三要素与应变异常参量关系密切，震级与异常量级、震中距有着确定性关系。     

新疆及其邻区强震活动与趋势预测

对１８８０￣１９９３年新疆及邻区７级以上强震活动特征进行了分析讨论，认为研究时段内７级以上强震活动有明显的活跃与平静交替现象。研究时段内的强震活动经历了５个轮回，每个轮回包括一个平静幕和一个活动幕，每个活动幕都有相对的主体活动区，主体活动区和７级以上单个强震都具有沿西昆仑－南天山－北天山－阿尔泰地震带往返迁移的特征。各地震带６级以上地震活动也具有明显的由西南向北东整体迁移的特征，并且这种时、空、强     

信息量直接计算法在甘肃－宁夏－青海地区前兆标志体系研究中的应用

本文提出了异常前兆信息量的直接计算法，实现了各种观测资料前兆异常的无量纲前兆信息量转换。用该方法对甘、宁、青地区５种观测手段共９２个测项的５日均值一阶差分相关异常进行了前兆信息量计算。通过２４次５级以上相关地震的回顾性分析研究，求得了９２个测项的有效单位异常平均信息量，为前兆标志体系的进一步研究打下了良好的基础。又通过７次７级以上相关地震前兆信息量变化特征的统计，给出了一组预报地震三要素参考指标。     

A Preliminary Study on the Probabilistic Estimation of Deaths from Future Earthquakes in North China

During the period from 1800 to 1989,the degree of fatalities(?from earthquakes in North China(Lat.34.0°-42.0°N,Long.107.5°-125.0°E)varied exponentially with the frequency of earthquake events(N),namely:N=37.71 exp(-0.72?(E-logD,D:deaths).For the periods from 1988 to 1998 and from 1999 to 2009,the probabilities for earthquakes to cause one thousand or more deaths in North China are estimated to be 0.37 and 0.50,respectively,by using the Gumbel's extreme value theory.     

Field survey of the East Java earthquake and tsunami of June 3, 1994

A field survey of the June 3, 1994 East Java earthquake tsunami was conducted within three weeks, and the distributions of the seismic intensities, tsunami heights, and human and house damages were surveyed. The seismic intensities on the south coasts of Java and Bali Islands were small for an earthquake with magnitudeM 7.6. The earthquake caused no land damage. About 40 minutes after the main shock, a huge tsunami attacked the coasts, several villages in East Java Province were damaged severely, and 223 persons perished. At Pancer Village about 70 percent of the houses were swept away and 121 persons were killed by the tsunami. The relationship between tsunami heights and distances from the source shows that the Hatori's tsunami magnitude wasm=3, which seems to be larger for the earthquake magnitude. But we should not consider this an extraordinary event because it was pointed out byHatori (1994) that the magnitudes of tsunamis in the Indonesia-Philippine region generally exceed 1–2 grade larger than those of other regions.     

1911年红海湾6级地震前珠江三角洲及其邻区的区域构造应力场

本文包括：（１）通过拟合区内断层错动方式确定区域边界上作用的远场构造应力；（２）根据发震前震中所在断层段要进入塑性状态，确定１９１１年红海湾地震前区内构造应力场．两个应力场均采用正交设计法与弹塑性有限元方法快捷地得到．结果表明：该区远场最大主压应力σ３的方向为Ｎ６８°Ｗ，σ３＝－２００ＭＰａ，最小主压应力σ１＝－８０ＭＰａ；算得的红海湾地震前区内应力场的特点是除滨海断裂的红海湾段已进入屈服状态外，其余断裂均处于弹性状态．

以北京地区台网数据为例，讨论了天然地震、人工地震和矿山地震的区别，并对多重地震和不同地区的地震特征进行了分析。
