Aguirregabiria et al. showed that Einstein, Landau and Lifshitz, Papapetrou, and Weinberg energy-momentum complexes coincide for all Kerr-Schild metric. Bringely used their general expression of the Kerr-Schild class and found energy and momentum densities for the Bonnor metric. In this paper the latter results are obtained without using Aguirregabiria et al results. This also supports Aguirregabiria et al results as well as Cooperstock hypothesis. Based on some mechanical principles, this paper presents a new way for simplifying the tower structure on the platform, i. e., substituting the three-dimensional tower structure by using beam elements. For the overall analysis of offshore platform, this method can not only save man- power and computer time, but also get better results. A study on fatigue behavior of unbonded partially prestressed concrete beams is presented.Model tests have been carried out in static loading and cyclic compressive loading on 15 beams withflexure.The ratios of the lower limit to the upper limit of fatigue load are 0.5 and 0.3 respectively,and thefrequencies of cyclic loading are 8 Hz and 4.5 Hz respectively.The experimental results of the strains of theconcrete and steel bars,the deflection of test beams,and the crack width of normal section are analyzed.According to statistics and analysis of test results,the corresponding calculation models are developed andpresented.  相似文献

On July 11, 1995, an Mw 6.8 earthquake struck eastern Myanmar near the Chinese border; hereafter referred to as the 1995 Myanmar–China earthquake. Coseismic surface displacements associated with this event are identified from JERS-1 (Japanese Earth Resources Satellite-1) SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images. The largest relative displacement reached 60 cm in the line-of-sight direction. We speculate that a previously unrecognized dextral strike-slip subvertical fault striking NW–SE was responsible for this event. The coseismic slip distribution on the fault planes is inverted based on the InSAR-derived deformation. The results indicate that the fault slip was confined to two lobes. The maximum slip reached approximately 2.5 m at a depth of 5 km in the northwestern part of the focal region. The inverted geodetic moment was approximately Mw = 6.69, which is consistent with seismological results. The 1995 Myanmar–China earthquake is one of the largest recorded earthquakes that has occurred around the “bookshelf faulting” system between the Sagaing fault in Myanmar and the Red River fault in southwestern China.  相似文献

Soil, as one of the three basic biophysical components, has been understudied using remote sensing techniques compared to vegetation and impervious surface areas (ISA). This study characterized land surfaces based on the brightness–darkness–greenness model. These three dimensions, brightness, darkness, and greenness, were represented by the first Tasseled Cap Transformation (TC1), Normalize Difference Snow Index (NDSI), and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), respectively. The Ratio Index for Bright Soil (RIBS) was developed based on TC1 and NDSI, and the Product Index for Dark Soil (PIDS) was established by TC1 and NDVI. Their applications to the Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager images and 500 m 8-day composite Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) in China revealed the efficiency. The two soil indices proficiently highlighted soil covers with consistently the smallest values, due to larger TC1 and smaller NDSI values in bright soil, and smaller NDVI and TC1 values in dark soil. The RIBS is capable of distinguishing bright soil from ISA without masking vegetation and water body. The spectral separability bright soil and ISA were perfect, with a Jeffries–Matusita distance of 1.916. And the PIDS was the only soil index that could discriminate dark soil from other land covers including ISA. The soil areas in China were classified using a simple threshold method based on MODIS images. An overall accuracy of 94.00% was obtained, with the kappa index of 0.8789. This study provided valuable insights into developing indices for characterizing land surfaces from different perspectives.  相似文献

China’s rapid economic development greatly affected not only the global economy but also the entire environment of the Earth. Forecasting China’s economic growth has become a popular and essential issue but at present, such forecasts are nearly all conducted at the national scale. In this study, we use nighttime light images and the gridded Landscan population dataset to disaggregate gross domestic product (GDP) reported at the province scale on a per pixel level for 2000–2013. Using the disaggregated GDP time series data and the statistical tool of Holt–Winters smoothing, we predict changes of GDP at each 1 km × 1 km grid area from 2014 to 2020 and then aggregate the pixel-level GDP to forecast economic growth in 23 major urban agglomerations of China. We elaborate and demonstrate that lit population (brightness of nighttime lights × population) is a better indicator than brightness of nighttime lights to estimate and disaggregate GDP. We also show that our forecast GDP has high agreement with the National Bureau of Statistics of China’s demographic data and the International Monetary Fund’s predictions. Finally, we display uncertainties and analyze potential errors of this disaggregation and forecast method.  相似文献

The present investigation was conducted to analyse the trends in hydrometeorological data to addresses how these trends impacted on the water extent of Wular Lake, Kashmir. Temporal changes in the lake surface area have been analysed, using the Landsat satellite data. The nonparametric Mann–Kendall and Sen’s methods were used to determine trends in hydrometeorological data. In addition, trends in extreme indices of frost days (FD), summer days, days with rainfall > 10 mm (R10), days with rainfall > 20 mm (R20) and dry spell for temperature and precipitation were also analysed. The results suggest an overall decrease in extreme rainfall events, R10 and R20, and annual precipitation pattern with increase in maximum and minimum annual average temperatures. Furthermore, the analysis of extreme temperature events suggests warming trend with increased number of warm days and decreased number of FD. With regard to water extent of the lake, an intense decreasing trend was observed.  相似文献
