Summary  This paper describes and discusses the adequacy of Weibull statistical analysis to analyse the bending strength of granite. The experimental results show that strength variability is related with a specific origin of failure. This conclusion is based on analysing the influence of the surface condition (extrinsic defects) on the bending strength results treated by the Weibull statistics. The conclusions drawn from this study have been validated by analysing the results of the critical flaw dimension estimated by applying the linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) formulae. Results obtained from fractographic examination also have been used to describe the location of the origin of the fracture and understand the distribution of defects; i.e., there is a unimodal distribution of defects (intrinsic defects), despite the fact that some outlier values are normally observed in the fractured surfaces. The study deals spatial mapping of earthquake hazard parameters like annual and 100-years mode along with their 90% probability of not being exceeded (NBE) in the Hindukush–Pamir Himalaya and adjoining regions. For this purpose, we applied a straightforward and most robust method known as Gumbel’s third asymptotic distribution of extreme values (GIII). A homogeneous and complete earthquake catalogue during the period 1900–2010 with magnitude MW  4.0 is utilized to estimate these earthquake hazard parameters. An equal grid point mesh, of 1° longitude X 1° latitude, is chosen to produce detailed earthquake hazard maps. This performance allows analysis of the localized seismicity parameters and representation of their regional variations as contour maps. The estimated result of annual mode with 90% probability of NBE is expected to exceed the values of MW 6.0 in the Sulaiman–Kirthar ranges of Pakistan and northwestern part of the Nepal and surroundings in the examined region. The 100-years mode with 90% probability of NBE is expected to exceed the value of MW 8.0 in the Hindukush–Pamir Himalaya with Caucasus mountain belt, the Sulaiman–Kirthar ranges of Pakistan, northwestern part of the Nepal and surroundings, the Kangra–Himanchal Pradesh and Kashmir of India. The estimated high values of earthquake hazard parameters are mostly correlated with the main tectonic regimes of the examined region. The spatial variations of earthquake hazard parameters reveal that the examined region exhibits more complexity and has high crustal heterogeneity. The spatial maps provide a brief atlas of the earthquake hazard in the region.  相似文献

澳大利亚西北陆架油气资源,特别是天然气资源富集,是全球液化天然气的主要供应地之一。西北陆架不仅是澳洲油气勘探潜力最大的地区,而且也是中国油公司拓展海外油气业务的重要地区。以多方面收集的数据资料为基础,探讨澳大利亚西北陆架油气分布规律,揭示油气分布主控因素,进而优选有利勘探区。区域上,已发现的油气储量主要分布于西北陆架最西南端的北卡那封盆地;层系上,油气主要富集于下白玺统泥页岩区域盖层之下的上三叠统、侏罗系或下白玺统碎屑岩储集层。油气分布整体表现为“内油外气、下气上油、以气为主的特征,油田多局限于侏罗纪裂谷作用控制的发育有成熟生油岩的次盆地。腐殖型干酪根类型和烃源岩的高成熟度决定了西北陆架的富气特征,侏罗纪发育的裂谷控制了石油的区域分布。基于油气地质综合研究和油气发现过程,优选出了埃克斯茅斯高地、埃克斯茅斯次盆、巴科一次盆、卡斯韦尔次盆、萨胡尔台地、卡尔德尔地堑和武尔坎次盆7个有利勘探区。  相似文献

Data warehouse (DW), a new technology invented in 1990s, is more useful for integrating and analyzing massive data than traditional database. Its application in geology field can be divided into 3 phrases: 1992-1996, commercial data warehouse (CDW) appeared; 1996-1999, geological data warehouse (GDW) appeared and the geologists or geographers realized the importance of DW and began the studies on it, but the practical DW still followed the framework of DB; 2000 to present, geological data warehouse grows, and the theory of geo-spatial data warehouse (GSDW) has been developed but the research in geological area is still deficient except that in geography. Although some developments of GDW have been made, its core still follows the CDW-organizing data by time and brings about 3 problems: difficult to integrate the geological data, for the data feature more space than time; hard to store the massive data in fifferent levels due to the same reason; hardly support the spatial analysis if the data are organized by time as CDW does. So the GDW should be redesigned by organizing data by scale in order to store mass data in different levels and synthesize the data in different granularities, and choosing space control points to replace the former time control points so as to integrate different types of data by the method of storing one type data as one layer and then to superpose the layers. In addition, data cube, a wide used technology in CDW, will be no use in GDW, for the causality among the geological data is not so obvious as commercial data, as the data are the mixed result of many complex rules, and their analysis needs the special geological methods and software; on the other hand, data cube for mass and complex geo-data will devour too much store space to be practical. On this point, the main purpose of GDW may be fit for data integration unlike CDW for data analysis.  相似文献

Summary Formulation and case studies of a three dimensional kinematic model are presented. Thein situ overburden geometry can be simulated accurately and various initiation patterns of blasts can be modelled. The overburden geometry, hole patterns and explosive distribution are all explicit model inputs. Because the effect of explosive properties, rock mass condition and inter-row delay are very difficult to measure in terms of blast performance, these are represented in the model by control parameters which are left for calibration using field data. The output of the model is a three dimensional muckpile shape of any cross section and a contour map of grade distribution within the muckpile. Two case studies are presented which have shown that the model is a valuable tool for optimizing production blasting as well as for controlling grade dilution during blasting.  相似文献

抽水引起周围地面沉降和构筑物地基沉降已成为工程建设中的一个环境灾害问题。根据抽水引起周围地面沉降的机理分析,提出了由抽水引起地下水水头压力变化、含水层颗粒迁移、含水层压缩和水体的膨胀的更具普遍意义的地下水运动方程,该方程可以简化成Biot和Helm的地下水运动方程。在此基础上,通过实例分析和方案对比,提出了抽水引起周围地面沉降的防治措施,并分析了各种措施的适用范围及优缺点。  相似文献

针对煤矿井下钻场人员需求大、安全隐患多、一人操作难以同时控制钻机动作并从全局视角知悉钻机运行状态等问题,引入了数字孪生技术,设计开发了钻机远程服务平台。该平台系统以ZDY25000LDK钻机为载体,融合了钻机远程控制系统、数字孪生模型和参数监测系统3方面技术,通过检测与执行层、数据传输层和远程集控层实现钻机远程控制、钻机运行全生命周期映射与参数监测。钻机远程控制系统实现了实时远距离控制钻机,数字孪生模型能够映射钻机各运动部件的运动状态,并能通过仿真实验为钻探施工提供先验参考,参数监测系统实现了对钻机状态参数和钻进参数的实时监测。基于该钻机远程服务平台,进行了平台的功能性和实时性验证。试验结果表明:钻机远程服务平台能够实现钻机远程控制,并从全局视角上映射和监测钻机运行状态和参数,通过数字孪生体仿真,得出钻机上扣过程中动力头回转速度和给进速度的最优比值为4.28,与实际上扣情况相符。平台操作方便、实时性高、可靠性好、人机交互友好,为煤矿井下钻探工作的减人增效和智能化升级提供了解决方案。
