Two-range scaling for tip vortex cavitation inception

The suggested scaling concept for cavitation inception index takes into account boundary layer separation caused by tip vortices, as well as difference in dependencies of boundary layer thickness on Reynolds number for laminar and turbulent boundary layer. Provided asymptotic analysis gives two scaling laws with different values of power for high and low Reynolds numbers. Deduced values correspond well to known experimental data.     

Regular wave pressures and forces on submerged pipelines near a sloping boundary

The hydrodynamic pressures induced by regular waves around the circumference of a pipeline normal to the wave direction and near a rigid bed of slope 1:10 have been investigated in a wave flume. The pressures were integrated to obtain the force time history, from which the peak horizontal and vertical forces are evaluated. The maximum and root mean square horizontal and transverse force coefficients are correlated with the Keulegan–Carpenter (KC) number. The effect of the distance between the sloping bed and the pipeline on the force coefficients is discussed. The force coefficients are found to decrease with an increase in KC number and with the decrease in the relative clearance of the pipeline from the boundary. In addition, the reflection characteristics of the sloping bed in the presence of the pipeline as a function of surf similarity parameter and their comparison with the results from existing literature are also reported. The details of the model setup, experimental procedure, results and discussion are presented in this paper.

On the modeling of wave propagation on non-uniform currents and depth

By transforming two different time-dependent hyperbolic mild slope equations with dissipation term for wave propagation on non-uniform currents into wave-action conservation equation and eikonal equation, respectively, shown are the different effects of dissipation term on the eikonal equation in the two different mild slope equations. The performances of intrinsic frequency and wave number are also discussed. Thus the suitable mathematical model is chosen in which the wave number vector and intrinsic frequency are expressed both more rigorously and completely. By using the perturbation method, an extended evolution equation, which is of time-dependent parabolic type, is developed from the time-dependent hyperbolic mild slope equation which exists in the suitable mathematical model, and solved by using the alternating direction implicit (ADI) method. Presented is the numerical model for wave propagation and transformation on non-uniform currents in water of slowly varying topography. From the comparisons of the numerical solutions with the theoretical solutions of two examples of wave propagation, respectively, the results show that the numerical solutions are in good agreement with the exact ones. 海浪外观统计与内部结构关系的数值研究

基于数值模拟的三维随机海面,从时间域和空间域两个角度对海浪的外观特征和内部结构间的关系进行了研究,得出了一些在工程应用上有参考价值的结果.文章认为,将波面看作是若干随机正弦波叠加的海浪结构模型,用于描述平稳、均匀和窄谱的海况时,其频谱分析结果与外观统计结果基本上是一致的;但是,当海面处于谱宽度较大的风浪或混合浪状态时,一些频谱分析结果必须经过修正才能应用.同一海况下,海面波动的时间过程和沿主波向的空间分布是明显不同的.当海面有突发性大浪时,外频谱能够很好地反映不平稳海况,而频谱则把这种不平稳性平滑了.文章着重讨论了波长和波陡的计算、频谱和外频谱的差异.     

垂直园柱群波浪作用力的研究(英文)

在波浪槽中进行了三个园柱的单排桩群和4×4个园柱的桩群所受波浪作用力的实验研究。单排桩的波浪入射角为0°、45°和90°:4×4桩群的波浪入射角为0°和45°。通过研究给出了三个园柱的单排桩群和4×4桩群的总干扰系数以及各个组成桩的干扰系数随Keulegan-Carpenter数、相对桩距和波浪入射角的变化;找出了桩群中承受最大波浪作用力的组成桩;提出了遮蔽效应、整体效应、射流效应和抑制效应等四种效应以解释所得到的结果。

Lectotype Optimization of Offshore Platforms by Use of Three-Scale Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process

A Three-Scale Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (T-FAHP) is proposed by introducing the Three-Scale Analytical Hierarchy Process (T-AHP) and the trapezoid fuzzy number. A multi-objective optimization model based on the T-FAHP is presented subsequently, in which many factors influencing the lectotype of offshore platform are taken into account synthetically, such as the original investment, the maintenance cost, the ability of resisting fatigue and corrosion, the construction period, the threat to the environment, and so on. With this method, the experts can give the relatively precise ranking weight of each index and at the same time the requirement of consistence checking can be met. The result of a calculation example shows that the T-FAHP is practical.
