本文是系列文章的第二篇,首先分析了1989年亚洲夏季风爆发时期青藏高原及邻近地区地表感热通量和大气温度场季节变化的基本特征,着重讨论了春季高原地表感热加热和亚洲季风爆发的联系,然后分析了1980~1989年10a南海季风爆发的气候学特征。上述工作表明,在春末初夏过渡季节,高原上空大气温度变化出现阶段性的跃升,并同亚洲夏季风阶段性的爆发有很好的对应关系。高原地表感热通量的持续增大导致了对流层高层局地反气旋式扰动环流的出现,使南亚反气旋北进的过程明显受到高原局地热力环流的调制,而热带东风急流入口区所产生的强烈的高层辐散,提供了有利于热带季风对流在南海地区首先爆发的动力学条件。此外,从5月份至6月中下旬,青藏高原、伊朗—阿富汗上空强大暖中心相继建立的结果,直接导致了热带地区上空大气南北温度梯度的反向依次在南海—孟加拉湾东部和阿拉伯海—印度次大陆由东向西相继建立,从而决定了亚洲季风建立的过程在不同地区爆发的时间不同。  相似文献

针对低电离层幅度调制加热过程中甚低频/极低频(VLF/ELF)激发效率较低的问题,该文利用低电离层调制加热模型分析方波幅度调制加热过程中占空比和加热频率对VLF/ELF辐射效率的影响,在此基础上获得最大VLF/ELF辐射效率下的优化占空比和加热频率选择范围.研究表明,随着调制波占空比的增大,激发的VLF/ELF等效辐射源强度先增大后减小,占空比的优化范围为40%~70%;随着加热频率的增大,激发的VLF/ELF等效辐射源强度先增大后减小,加热频率的优化范围为(0.8~0.9)倍低电离层临界频率.  相似文献

北京平原区蕴藏着丰富的中-低温水热型地热资源,其西北部分布着小汤山地热田和京西北地热田,两大地热田以南口—孙河断裂带为界.地热田及其外围地区基础的地热地质研究工作较少.为给地热学研究和地热资源精细勘探提供科学依据,本文基于前人23眼钻孔的温度测量数据以及近期完成的548件热导率和100件放射性生热率实测数据,研究了区域大地热流和0~4 km深部地温特征.结果表明:(1)研究区现今地温梯度为11.31~94.89℃·km-1,平均值为31.79℃·km-1;岩石热导率为0.895~5.111 W·(m·K)-1,放射性生热率为0.257~2.305 μW·m-3,大地热流为48.1~99.1 mW·m-2,平均值为68.3 mW·m-2,热流的分布受基底形态和断裂构造控制.研究区东部南口—孙河断裂带两侧小汤山和郑各庄地区为高热流异常区,中部马池口地区也存在局部高热流异常区.(2)在南口—孙河断裂带的不同位置,不同深度地层温度差异明显,体现出区域现今地温场不只受控于该活动断裂,更是多期次构造事件复合叠加的结果.(3)南口—孙河断裂带南侧存在两处有意义的较高地温异常区,分别为郑各庄异常区和马池口异常区,其中马池口异常区是未来地热开发利用有一定潜力的地区.  相似文献

Mount Cameroon volcano has erupted several times in the 20th Century with documented eruptions in 1909, 1922, 1954, 1959, 1982, 1999 and 2000. Evidence of historic volcanism is represented by several older lava flows and lahar deposits around the flanks of the volcano. This study aims to assess the evolution of Mount Cameroon volcanism through its eruptive history via interpretation of mineralogical, whole rock geochemical and Pb, Sr, Nd isotope data generated from historic and recent lava flows. In this study, samples were collected from the 1959, 1982, 1999 and 2000 eruptions and from several historic eruption sites with unknown eruption dates.Evaluation of major and trace element data demonstrates that Mount Cameroon is geotectonically associated with within-plate Ocean Island Basalt Settings. More than 90% of the studied historic lavas (n ​= ​29) classify as tephrites and basanites whereas the modern lavas (n ​= ​38) are predominantly trachybasalts, demonstrating evolution from primitive to evolved lavas over time typically in response to fractional crystallization. Petrographically, the lavas are porphyritic with main mineral phases being olivine, clinopyroxene, plagioclase feldspars and Fe–Ti–Cr oxides. The 1982 lavas are predominantly aphyric and dominated by lath-shaped flow-aligned plagioclase in the groundmass. Olivine chemistry shows variable forsterite compositions from Fo60–89. Clinopyroxenes vary from diopside through augite to titanaugite with chemical composition ranges from Wo45En32Fs7 to Wo51En47Fs17. Plagioclase feldspars vary from labradorite (An56–70) to bytownite (An80–87). For the Fe–Ti–Cr oxides, calculated ulvöspinel component shows a wide variation from ulv38–87. CIPW-normative classification on the Di-Ol-Hy-Qz-Ne system shows that all Mount Cameroon lavas are nepheline-normative (Ne ranges from 4.20 wt.% to 11.45 ​wt.%).Radiogenic isotope data demonstrate that Mount Cameroon lavas are HIMU (or high μ ​= ​238U/204Pb), characterized by 206Pb/204Pb ​= ​20.19–20.46, 207Pb/204Pb ​= ​15.63–15.69, 208Pb/204Pb ​= ​40.01–40.30, 87Sr/86Sr ​= ​0.70322–0.70339 (εSr ​= ​−21.37 to −18.96) and 143Nd/144Nd ​= ​0.51276–0.51285 (εNd ​= ​+2.29 to +4.05). The historic lavas show stronger HIMU signature relative to the modern lavas, suggesting evolution towards less HIMU signatures over time. This study has revealed that Mount Cameroon volcanism has evolved from primitive magmas characterized by stronger HIMU signatures with high 206/204Pb and 208/204Pb isotopes, low SiO2 and high Mg, Ni, Cr content towards lower HIMU signatures with relatively higher SiO2, lower Mg, Cr and Ni compositions. The geochemical and isotopic changes, which account for the evolution of magmatism on Mount Cameroon occur over long periods of time because all the modern lavas erupted within the last 100 years are isotopically homogeneous, with very limited variation in SiO2 compositions.  相似文献

随着经济的快速发展,工程领域面对坚硬岩石的情况越来越多,传统机械开挖方式的效率和经济性难以保障,而微波辅助破岩具有较好的工程应用前景。岩石是由不同矿物组成的,不同矿物对微波的敏感程度不同,其敏感程度与矿物的族类、晶型和铁元素含量有关。当岩石处于微波场中时,不同敏感性矿物间的差异性膨胀能够在矿物边界和内部产生热应力,从而有效弱化岩石。影响岩石弱化效果的主要因素可分为微波条件和岩石条件两大类。一般而言,岩石强度随着微波功率与照射时间的增加而降低;相同能量条件下,高功率短时间的微波照射能够产生更好的弱化效果。岩石所含矿物的微波敏感性越高,敏感矿物的颗粒尺寸越大,及含量适当时,微波照射岩石的弱化效果越好;含水状态的岩石受到微波照射后,能够比干燥状态产生更大的损伤。微波的热效应有时还会使岩石中的矿物发生较大的物理或化学变化,进而对其升温特性及弱化效果产生影响。面照射试验表明微波能使大尺寸岩样在照射区域产生放射状裂纹,从而有效降低岩石强度,提高破岩效率。  相似文献

A combination of beta spiral and minimum length inverse methods, along with a compilation of historical and recent high-resolution CTD data, are used to produce a quantitative estimate of the subthermocline circulation in Cascadia Basin. Flow in the North Pacific Deep Water, from 900-1900 m, is characterized by a basin-scale anticyclonic gyre. Below 2000 m, two water masses are present within the basin interior, distinguished by different potential temperature-salinity lines. These water masses, referred to as Cascadia Basin Bottom Water (CBBW) and Cascadia Basin Deep Water (CBDW), are separated by a transition zone at about 2400 m depth. Below the depth where it freely communicates with the broader North Pacific, Cascadia Basin is renewed by northward flow through deep gaps in the Blanco Fracture Zone that feeds the lower limb of a vertical circulation cell within the CBBW. Lower CBBW gradually warms and returns to the south at lighter density. Isopycnal layer renewal times, based on combined lateral and diapycnal advective fluxes, increase upwards from the bottom. The densest layer, existing in the southeast quadrant of the basin below 2850 m, has an advective flushing time of 0.6 years. The total volume flushing time for the entire CBBW is 2.4 years, corresponding to an average water parcel residence time of 4.7 years. Geothermal heating at the Cascadia Basin seafloor produces a characteristic bottom-intensified temperature anomaly and plays an important role in the conversion of cold bottom water to lighter density within the CBBW. Although covering only about 0.05% of the global seafloor, the combined effects of bottom heat flux and diapycnal mixing within Cascadia Basin provide about 2-3% of the total required global input to the upward branch of the global thermohaline circulation.  相似文献

Individual X-ray photons in the keV energy range produce hundreds of photoelectrons in a single pixel of a CCD array detector. The number of photoelectrons produced is a linear function of the photon energy, allowing the measurement of spectral information with an imaging detector system. Most solar X-ray telescopes, such as Yohkoh/SXT and Hinode/XRT, use CCD detectors in an integrating mode and are designed to make temperature estimates from multiband filter photometry. We show how such instruments can be used in a new way to perform a limited type of this photon spectroscopy. By measuring the variance in intensity of a series of repeated images through a single filter of an X-ray source, the mean energy per detected photon can be determined. This energy is related to the underlying coronal spectrum, and hence it can be used to deduce the mean plasma temperature. We apply this technique to data from the Yohkoh Soft X-Ray Telescope and compare the temperatures obtained with this technique with the temperatures derived using the standard filter ratio method for a postflare loop system. Given the large dynamic range of the soft X-ray flux observed from the Sun, we describe the requirements for a future instrument that would be better suited to performing photon spectroscopy. B.J. Near infrared coronal line emission at 1.98 ± 0.02Μm due to [Si VI] detected in the spectrum of Nova Herculis 1991 about 17 days after optical maximum is reported. The early appearance of coronal emission is yet another unusual feature of this fast nova in which early onset of dust formation processes and X-ray detection five days after outburst have already been reported. The coronal line observations reported here are consistent with X-ray detection and support a hot shocked circumstellar envelope at the periphery of the dust formation zone in the nova.  相似文献

We report the results of laboratory experiments on water heating/cooling, performed in 5 m long water channel with a slope. About 63 series of photos were analyzed: for 3 locations, for 3 bottom slopes (3.7, 6.7 and 12 degrees) and for different Ra numbers. It was pointed out that there exist two types of mixing characterizing different circulations in the presence of slope: gravity current and undersurface jet; the thermal bar is the region where one type of mixing is replaced by another; the highest speed and flowrate are at the break point; the flow is three-dimensional.  相似文献
