The origin of an apparently syndeformational chemical remanent magnetization (CRM) and geochemical alteration in a fault zone in the Bristol Channel Basin, southwest England, was investigated. Deformation in the fault zone occurs in Jurassic aged, organic-rich limestones and consists of numerous normal and oblique-slip faults and associated folds. Migration of basinal, radiogenic fluids is indicated by elevated 87Sr/86Sr values for calcite veins that occur throughout the fault zone. Some of the calcite veins contain hydrocarbons sourced from deeper strata. Elevated 87Sr/86Sr values in the host Jurassic limestones indicate that they were also extensively altered by radiogenic fluids that migrated through microfractures in addition to major fault and fracture planes. Folded and tilted host limestones contain a pervasive secondary CRM residing in magnetite that was acquired during deformation in the Tertiary. The association between this pervasive CRM and the pervasive geochemical alteration is consistent with a genetic connection between the orogenic fluids and the CRM although the timing of CRM acquisition (Tertiary) is not consistent with structural interpretations for the timing of most veining. An alternative remagnetization mechanism which is not triggered by externally derived fluids, such as diagenesis of hydrocarbons, might account for the CRM. Hydrocarbon-bearing veins also contain a CRM that resides in magnetite, although the time for remanence acquisition is not well constrained by field tests. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

目前,利用航磁数据圈定磁性地质体边界的方法主要有航磁ΔT化极法、航磁ΔT化极垂向一阶导数法、总梯度模法和斜导数法等4种。云南宣威-贵州赫章地区火山岩分布面积广泛,下二叠统峨眉山玄武岩具有强磁性,而其他地层岩石磁性很低;为了圈定研究区内磁性地质体的目的,利用该区1∶5万航磁测量数据,阐述了ΔT化极法、化极垂向一阶导数法、斜导数法和总梯度模法等4种数据处理方法的地质应用效果,认为应根据有效磁化方向与地磁场方向是否一致来选用不同的航磁数据处理方法,以达到有效圈定地质的目的。  相似文献

Real sea conditions are characterized by multidirectional sea waves. However, the prediction of hull load responses in oblique waves is a difficult problem due to numeral divergence. This paper focuses on the investigation of numerical and experimental methods of load responses of ultra-large vessels in oblique regular waves. A three dimensional nonlinear hydroelastic method is proposed. In order to numerically solve the divergence problem of time-domain motion equations in oblique waves, a proportional, integral and derivative (PID) autopilot model is applied. A tank model measurement methodology is used to conduct experiments for hydroelastic responses of a large container ship in oblique regular waves. To implement the tests, a segmented ship model and oblique wave testing system are designed and assembled. Then a series of tests corresponding to various wave headings are carried out to investigate the vibrational characteristics of the model. Finally, time-domain numerical simulations of the ship are carried out. The numerical analysis results by the presented method show good agreement with experimental results.  相似文献

The problem involving scattering of oblique waves by small undulation on the porous ocean bed in a two-layer fluid is investigated within the framework of linearised theory of water waves where the upper layer is free to the atmosphere. In such a two-layer fluid, there exist waves with two different wave numbers (modes): wave with lower wave number propagates along the free surface whilst that with higher wave number propagates along the interface. When an oblique incident wave of a particular mode encounters the undulating bottom, it gets reflected and transmitted into waves of both modes so that some of the wave energy transferred from one mode to another mode. Perturbation analysis in conjunction with Fourier transform technique is used to derive the first-order corrections of velocity potentials, reflection and transmission coefficients at both modes due to oblique incident waves of both modes. One special type of undulating bottom topography is considered as an example to evaluate the related coefficients in detail. These coefficients are shown in graphical forms to demonstrate the transformation of water wave energy between the two modes. Comparisons between the present results with those in the literature are made for particular cases and the agreements are found to be satisfactory. In addition, energy identity, an important relation in the study of water wave theory, is derived with the help of the Green’s integral theorem.  相似文献

斜向探测是获取电离层状态信息的重要手段之一,对斜测电离图的反演可以得到电离层的相关结构参数.遗传算法是一种有效的并得到普遍应用的反演方法,该算法的求解不依赖于初值的选择,可以有效地减少反演问题解的非唯一性,但也存在“过早收敛”和局部搜索能力差等缺陷,从而导致反演精度下降,影响反演结果的可靠性.本文提出将基于模拟退火的混合遗传算法应用到斜测电离图的参数反演中,该算法不仅把握总体能力强,且具有较强的局部搜索能力,是遗传算法和模拟退火算法的优势互补.为了验证该算法反演结果的可靠性和稳定性,首先分别采用遗传算法、模拟退火算法和混合遗传算法对合成的电离图进行反演,反演参数包括临界频率,最大电子浓度和半厚度.通过对三种算法反演结果的对比,得出混合遗传算法的反演结果最接近真实值,需要的迭代次数也远远小于其他两种算法;通过改变种群大小和总迭代次数来判断参数值的改变对三种算法反演结果的影响,得出混合遗传算法有效地降低了参数的选取对反演结果的影响.然后用这三种反演算法对实测电离图进行反演,并将它们的反演结果与斜测链路中点的实际垂测数据进行比较,结果显示混合遗传算法84.62%的反演结果可以控制在误差范围之内,高于遗传算法(76.93%)和模拟退火算法(65.38%).这些都表明了混合遗传算法的反演结果具有较强的可靠性,在反演的寻优能力和稳定性上要明显优于遗传算法和模拟退火算法,对实测电离层图的反演具有很强的借鉴意义和应用价值.  相似文献

山东省荣成地区位于苏鲁高压-超高压变质带的东北部,以花岗质片麻岩、副片麻岩为主,夹有少量的榴辉岩、石榴辉石岩、麻粒岩、超基性岩、石英岩、大理岩和斜长角闪岩等,各类岩石的锆石中普遍含有柯石英包裹体,表明荣成地区岩石曾经历超高压变质作用过程。荣成地区区域构造格架表现为面理产状总体为NNE-SSW走向,向南转为由NE-SW走向,呈弧形展布,倾向SE或SSE,超高压变质岩石由一系列近平行的剪切岩片组成,岩片之间的分界线为一些韧性剪切带,是折返阶段角闪岩相-绿片岩相的产物。结合野外宏观变形现象、显微构造分析以及糜棱岩中石英的优选方位EBSD (electron backscatter diffraction,电子背散射技术)测量结果,可以判断北苏鲁荣成地区韧性剪切带主要形成于中、低温(550~350℃)条件,并具有由NW向SE“斜向正滑”的剪切指向。根据韧性剪切带中所含的榴辉岩透镜体的显微构造和绿辉石与金红石的优选方位的EBSD的研究,重塑超高压变质阶段的流变学特征:绿辉石和金红石都具有高温的滑移系组构模式。横穿苏鲁高压-超高压变质带的地震反射剖面揭示了苏鲁高压-超高压变质带呈厚10km以上的穹形板片,位于苏鲁高压-超高压变质板片下部的荣成及江苏刘山以韧性正断裂系列为主。Ar-Ar测年结果表明,发生这种伸展韧性剪切作用的时间在117~130Ma。位于板片上部的南苏鲁以韧性逆冲性断裂系列为主。基于以上各方面的研究,进一步验证了苏鲁超高压-超高压变质带折返动力学的挤出模式。  相似文献

拉萨白堆复合岩体寄主为含包体的花岗闪长岩,并被一系列平行-近平行东西走向中-基性岩脉群穿插,总体形成类似"条纹码"般的构造形式。锆石U-Pb定年表明,这些基性岩脉主要形成于85~68Ma。同期中性和基性脉岩都表现出富集大离子亲石元素和LREE,亏损高场强元素,Sr同位素初始比值较低,但Nd同位素比值(εNd(t)+3.1)和锆石Hf同位素组成(εHf(t)+10.7)较高,都不具有Eu异常。与中性脉岩相比,基性脉岩具有(1)Mg O含量较高和较高的Mg#(50.6);(2)较高的Cr、Ni、Co含量;(3)较富集HREE且平坦分布。但中性脉岩Y含量较低,Sr/Y比值(38~72)较高,具有高Sr-低Y的特征;这些特征表明:这些岩浆岩的源区可能为受流体交代的岩石圈地幔。中-基性脉岩之间具有岩浆演化关系,在岩浆演化过程中以角闪石的分离结晶为主。结合文献数据,这些新数据表明冈底斯岩基的在晚白垩世(85~68Ma)经历了弧上伸展构造作用,岩浆作用持续活动,可能与新特提斯洋板片的北向斜俯冲相关。  相似文献

This paper presents a method to integrate linear horizontal, vertical and right-angled scene structures into the bundle adjustment of image sequences. An increasing number of airborne image acquisition systems is available and equipped with non-metric small- or medium-frame cameras and no or insufficiently accurate INS devices. In cases where the data is to be used for the production of geo-spatial data, where a certain accuracy and precision is required, an indirect sensor orientation, possibly including self-calibration, needs to be performed. The idea which led to the presented approach is to reduce the number of GCPs necessary for this task by applying the mentioned scene structures. The method directly uses the linear structures, visible at man-made objects as fictive observations within the adjustment, while self-calibration of intrinsic camera parameters and lens distortion is included as well.Experiments with two datasets demonstrate that, through this method, only limited GCP information is required to obtain satisfactory results. In fact, in one experiment using oblique images, several scene constraints were provided and only the datum was defined by ground control. The residuals at check points from this setup were similar to the traditional case where several well-distributed GCPs were available in the scene. In the second experiment the ability of this approach to support the bundle adjustment was shown for a UAV dataset. Although no GCP and camera calibration information was available, the visual inspection of adjusted object points and the residuals at horizontal structures confirmed the ability of the method to align an image block with the structure, as embodied in the defined scene constraints. Despite the convincing outcome of the experiments, it needs to be mentioned that some manual work is still involved in defining the constraints. In future work the issue of automation will be addressed.  相似文献

Strain modeling shows that folds can form in transtension, particularly in simple shear-dominated transtension. Folds that develop in transtension do not rotate toward the shear zone boundary, as they do in transpression; instead they rotate toward the divergence vector, a useful feature for determining past relative plate motions. Transtension folds can only accumulate a fixed amount of horizontal shortening and tightness that are prescribed by the angle of oblique divergence, regardless of finite strain. Hinge-parallel stretching of transtensional folds always exceeds hinge-perpendicular shortening, causing constrictional fabrics and hinge-parallel boudinage to develop.These theoretical results are applied to structures that developed during oblique continental rifting in the upper crust (seismic/brittle) and the ductile crust. Examples include (1) oblique opening of the Gulf of California, where folds and normal faults developed simultaneously in syn-divergence basins; (2) incipient continental break-up in the Eastern California-Walker Lane shear zone, where earthquake focal mechanisms reflect bulk constrictional strain; and (3) exhumation of the ultrahigh-pressure terrain in SW Norway in which transtensional folds and large magnitude stretching developed in the footwall of detachment shear zones, consistent with constrictional strain. More generally, folds may be misinterpreted as indicating convergence when they can form readily in oblique divergence.  相似文献
