南京北郊气溶胶粒子的光学散射特征 总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1
利用三波段积分浊度仪对南京北郊2009-2010年四季气溶胶散射系数进行观测和分析。结果表明:气溶胶散射系数具有明显的季节变化特征,春季最低,秋季最高,冬夏季差别不大;气溶胶散射系数变化范围为51.6~2748.3Mm-1,平均值为478.6Mm-1。气溶胶散射系数的日变化特征为双峰型。空气相对湿度与气溶胶散射系数呈正相关关系:地面风向与气溶胶散射系数关系密切,偏东风时气溶胶散射系数最大,偏南风和偏西风时气溶胶散射系数较小。降水对气溶胶有明显的清除作用。能见度大于5km时,能见度与散射系数呈负相关关系。四季大气中SO2和NO2与气溶胶散射系数存在一定相关性,其中秋季SO,与气溶胶散射系数的相关系数最大(0.68),春季NO2与散射系数的相关系数最大(0.62),均通过0.05信度的显著性检验。 相似文献

This paper introduces the alternating conditional expectation (ACE) algorithm of Breiman and Friedman (J Am Stat Assoc 80:580–619,
1985) for estimating the transformations of a response and a set of predictor variables in multiple regression problems in hydrogeology.
The proposed nonparametric approach can be applied easily for estimating the optimal transformations of different hydrogeological
data to obtain maximum correlation between observed variables. The approach does not require a priori assumptions of a functional
form, and the optimal transformations are derived solely based on the data set. The advantages and applicability of this new
approach to solve different multiple regression problems in hydrogeology or in Earth Sciences are illustrated by means of
theoretical investigations and case studies. It is demonstrated that the ACE method has certain advantages in some fitting
problems of hydrogeology over the traditional multiple regression. Based on our knowledge, this is the first application of

The high-redshift Universe contains luminous Lyα emitting sources such as galaxies and quasars. The emitted Lyα radiation is often scattered by surrounding neutral hydrogen atoms. We show that the scattered Lyα radiation obtains a high level of polarization for a wide range of likely environments of high-redshift galaxies. For example, the backscattered Lyα flux observed from galaxies surrounded by a superwind-driven outflow may reach a fractional polarization as high as ∼40 per cent. Equal levels of polarization may be observed from neutral collapsing protogalaxies. Resonant scattering in the diffuse intergalactic medium typically results in a lower polarization amplitude (≲7 per cent), which depends on the flux of the ionizing background. Spectral polarimetry can differentiate between Lyα scattering off infalling gas and outflowing gas; for an outflow, the polarization should increase towards longer wavelengths while for infall the opposite is true. Our numerical results suggest that Lyα polarimetry is feasible with existing instruments, and may provide a new diagnostic of the distribution and kinematics of neutral hydrogen around high-redshift galaxies. Moreover, polarimetry may help suppress infrared lines originating in the Earth's atmosphere, and thus improve the sensitivity of ground-based observations to high-redshift Lyα emitting galaxies outside the currently available redshift windows. 相似文献

Models of the iron Kα fluorescent line and the Compton Shoulder in irradiated accretion disc spectra
We present a full set of model atmosphere equations for the accretion disc around a supermassive black hole irradiated by a hard X-ray lamp of power-law spectral distribution. Model equations allow for multiple Compton scattering of radiation on free electrons, and for large relative photon–electron energy exchange at the time of scattering. We present spectra in specific intensities integrated over the disc surface. Theoretical outgoing intensity spectra show soft X-ray excess below 1 keV, and distinct Kα and Kβ fluorescent lines of iron. We demonstrate the existence of the Compton Shoulder and claim that it can contribute to the asymmetry and equivalent widths of some observed Fe Kα lines in active galactic nuclei. Our models exhibit the effect of limb-brightening in reflected X-rays. 相似文献

We consider the role of the Galactic kinetic Sunyaev–Zeldovich (SZ) effect as a cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization foreground. While the Galactic thermal SZ effect has previously been studied and discarded as a potential CMB foreground, we find that the kinetic SZ effect is dominant in the Galactic case. We analyse the detectability of the kinetic SZ effect by means of an optimally matched filter technique applied to a simulation of an ideal observation. We obtain no detection, getting a signal-to-noise ratio of 0.1, thereby demonstrating that the kinetic SZ effect can also safely be ignored as a CMB foreground. However, we provide maps of the expected signal for inclusion in future high-precision data processing. Furthermore, we rule out the significant contamination of the polarized CMB signal by second scattering of Galactic kinetic SZ photons, since we show that the scattering of the CMB quadrupole photons by Galactic electrons is a stronger effect than the SZ second scattering, and has already been shown to produce no significant polarized contamination. 相似文献

By using a complete set of poroelastodynamic spherical wave potentials (SWPs) representing a fast compressional wave PI, a slow compressional wave PII, and a shear wave S with 3 vectorial potentials (not all are independent), a solution scheme based on the method of fundamental solution (MFS) is devised to solve 3‐D wave scattering and dynamic stress concentration problems due to inhomogeneous inclusions and cavities embedded in an infinite poroelastic domain. The method is verified by comparing the result with the elastic analytical solution, which is a degenerated case, as well as with poroelastic solution obtained using other numerical methods. The accuracy and stability of the SWP‐MFS are also demonstrated. The displacement, hoop stress, and fluid pore pressure around spherical cavity and poroelastic inclusion with permeable and impermeable boundary are investigated for incident plane PI and SV waves. The scattering characteristics are examined for a range of material properties, such as porosity and shear modulus contrast, over a range of frequency. Compared with other boundary‐based numerical strategy, such as the boundary element method and the indirect boundary integral equation method, the current SWP‐MFS is a meshless method that does not need elements to approximate the geometry and is free from the treatment of singularities. The SWP‐MFS is a highly accurate and efficient solution methodology for wave scattering problems of arbitrary geometry, particularly when a part of the domain extends to infinity. 相似文献
