通过1∶5万区域地质调查和收集相关资料的综合研究,本文对雅鲁藏布江结合带的形成演化作了进一步的探讨。雅鲁藏布江特提斯洋具有弧后扩张洋盆的性质,在早三叠世至中三叠世中期洋盆初步形成,中三叠世晚期至晚三叠世洋盆全面形成,从早侏罗世至晚白垩世洋盆逐步萎缩,到古新世至始新世关闭。南带的蛇绿岩主要为洋中脊扩张型(MORB型),形成于中三叠世晚期至晚三叠世。北带的蛇绿岩主要为与洋内俯冲相关的俯冲带上盘型(SSZ型),形成于早中侏罗世。带内侏罗纪至白垩纪其他岩浆岩主要为前弧玄武岩类(FAB型)。显示雅鲁藏布江特提斯洋从早侏罗世开始发生了洋内俯冲,并同步向北向冈底斯带之下主动俯冲消减和向南向喜马拉雅地块之下被动俯冲消减,持续发展到晚白垩世,在古新世至始新世俯冲碰撞消亡转化为结合带。 相似文献

Two main types of glassy fragmental rocks formed along the Proto-Macquarie Spreading Ridge: (i) hyaloclastite breccia; and (ii) pillow-fragment breccia. Examples now exposed on Macquarie Island, Southern Ocean, were largely sourced from proximal pillow lavas. In each of seven samples examined, hyaloclasts (basaltic glass grains) have a narrow major- and trace-element geochemical range, consistent with derivation of each sample from a single volcanic eruption event. Moreover, every sample analysed within the one stratigraphic section (at three sites) displays distinctive major- and trace-element geochemistry compared with the other two sections. This suggests that hyaloclasts at each site represent discrete magma batches. A single source for these glassy fragmental rocks contrasts with the dominant fault-scarp-derived polymict sedimentary rocks on Macquarie Island. We suggest that the hyaloclasts analysed in this study were deposited in small basins between the slopes of growing pillow cones along the mid-ocean ridge. The geochemical analyses presented here encompass (weakly) fractionated (e.g. Bauer Bay) to near-primitive (e.g. Pyramid Peak) compositions. All samples presented here lie within the range of the enriched- to normal-MORB suites previously reported for the island that include the least fractionated MORB melts known globally. The interpretation of geochemically distinct magma batches over the small area of the island suggests very limited magma mixing consistent with an immature or waning magmatic system. We relate these geochemical characteristics to: (i) volcanism near a very long offset transform; and (ii) genesis of magmas during the waning stages of slow seafloor spreading within a very narrow (<50 km-wide) spreading corridor. 相似文献

We performed experiments in a piston-cylinder apparatus to determine the effects of focused magma transport into highly permeable
channels beneath mid-ocean ridges on: (1) the chemical composition of the ascending basalt; and (2) the proportions and compositions
of solid phases in the surrounding mantle. In our experiments, magma focusing was supposed to occur instantaneously at a pressure
of 1.25 GPa. We first determined the equilibrium melt composition of a fertile mantle (FM) at 1.25 GPa-1,310°C; this composition
was then synthesised as a gel and added in various proportions to peridotite FM to simulate focusing factors Ω equal to 3
and 6 (Ω = 3 means that the total mass of liquid in the system increased by a factor of 3 due to focusing). Peridotite FM
and the two basalt-enriched compositions were equilibrated at 1 GPa-1,290°C; 0.75 GPa-1,270°C; 0.5 GPa-1,250°C, to monitor
the evolution of phase proportions and compositions during adiabatic decompression melting. Our main results may be summarised
as follows: (1) magma focusing induces major changes of the coefficients of the decompression melting reaction, in particular,
a major increase of the rate of opx consumption, which lead to complete exhaustion of orthopyroxene (and clinopyroxene) and
the formation of a dunitic residue. A focusing factor of ≈4—that is, a magma/rock ratios equal to ≈0.26—is sufficient to produce
a dunite at 0.5 GPa. (2) Liquids in equilibrium with olivine (±spinel) at low pressure (0.5 GPa) have lower SiO2 concentrations, and higher concentrations in MgO, FeO, and incompatible elements (Na2O, K2O, TiO2) than liquids produced by decompression melting of the fertile mantle, and plot in the primitive MORB field in the olivine–silica–diopside–plagioclase
tetrahedron. Our study confirms that there is a genetic relationship between focused magma transport, dunite bodies in the
upper mantle, and the generation of primitive MORBs. 相似文献

Pressures at which partial crystallization occurs for mid-oceanridge basalts (MORB) have been examined by a new petrologicalmethod that is based on a parameterization of experimental datain the form of projections. Application to a global MORB glassdatabase shows that partial crystallization of olivine + plagioclase+ augite ranges from 1 atm to 1·0 GPa, in good agreementwith previous determinations, and that there are regional variationsthat generally correlate with spreading rate. MORB from fast-spreadingcenters display partial crystallization in the crust at ridgesegment centers and in both mantle and crust at ridge terminations.Fracture zones are likely to be regions where magma chambersare absent and where there is enhanced conductive cooling ofthe lithosphere at depth. MORB from slow-spreading centers displayprominent partial crystallization in the mantle, consistentwith models of enhanced conductive cooling of the lithosphereand the greater abundance of fracture zones through which theypass. In general, magmas that move through cold mantle experiencesome partial crystallization, whereas magmas that pass throughhot mantle may be comparatively unaffected. Estimated pressuresof partial crystallization indicate that the top of the partialmelting region is deeper than about 2035 km below slow-spreadingcenters and some ridge segment terminations at fast-spreadingcenters. In situ synchrotron X-ray diffraction experiments were conducted using the SPEED-1500 multi-anvil press at SPring-8 on majoritic garnet synthesized from natural mid-ocean ridge basalt (MORB), whose chemical composition is close to the average of oceanic crust, at 19 GPa and 2200 K. Pressure-volume-temperature data were collected using a newly developed high-pressure cell assembly to 21 GPa and 1273 K. Data were fit to the high-temperature Birch-Murnaghan equation of state, with fixed values for the ambient cell volume (V0 = 1574.14(4) Å3) and the pressure derivative of the isothermal bulk modulus (K′T = 4). This yielded an isothermal bulk modulus of KT0 = 173(1) GPa, a temperature derivative of the bulk modulus (∂KT/∂T)P = −0.022(5) GPa K−1, and a volumetric coefficient of thermal expansivity α = a + bT with values of a = 2.0(3) × 10−5 K−1 and b = 1.0(5) × 10−8 K−2. The derived thermoelastic parameters are very similar to those of pyrope. The density of subducted oceanic crust compared to pyrolitic mantle at the conditions in Earth's transition zone (410-660 km depth) was calculated using these results and previously reported thermoelastic parameters for MORB and pyrolite mineral assembledges. These calculations show that oceanic crust is denser than pyrolitic mantle throughout the mantle transition zone along a normal geotherm, and the density difference is insensitive to temperature at the pressures in lower part of the transition zone. 相似文献

东太平洋洋隆Siqueiros转换断层带(西经103°~104°、北纬8°20′~8°30′),位于中美洲之西可可斯板块与太平洋板块交接处(图1).该转换断层的玄武岩,成分从原始的到富化的,变化很大.最原始的玄武岩产于A-B走滑断层内,其MgO含量高达14.91%;最富化的玄武岩产在西部洋脊与转换断层交叉部位,其MgO含量较低,成分变化大.转换断层内的洋中脊玄武岩可分三类:富化的洋脊玄武岩(E-MORB)、原始的正常洋脊玄武岩(Primitive N-MORB)和正常洋脊玄武岩(N-MORB).Siqueiros转换断层区已确定有两个地幔源:一个位于转换断层西部下面的富集地幔,其特点是稀土总量高,富轻稀土,低MgO、K2O和TiO2,而高87Sr/86Sr;另一个是位于转换断层中-东部下面的亏损地幔,来自这个地幔源的玄武岩具有低87Sr/86Sr、低稀土元素和微量元素含量,但MgO含量较高. 相似文献

We present experiments showing that the lower oceanic crust should melt efficiently and quickly when heated by hot ascending
magmas. Average plagioclase–olivine and plagioclase–augite pairs from the lower crust at the Southwest Indian Ridge have melt–mineral
saturation boundaries at 1,190 and 1,154°C, respectively, and melt rapidly (>0.01 mm/h) at 50°C or more above these temperatures.
Melting experiments performed on olivine–plagioclase and augite–plagioclase mineral pairs from actual oceanic lower crustal
rock samples and under conditions applicable to a MOR setting (1,220–1,330°C, 1 atm, quartz–fayalite–magnetite oxygen buffer,
0.25–24 h) indicate that the resulting disequilibrium melts are linear mixes of the mineral compositions. The rates of melting
are slower than the rate of heat-diffusion into a sample and are approximated as:
Our results indicate that great care must be taken in backward models using basalt chemistry alone to explore mantle-melting

松多榴辉岩的SiO2、Al2O3含量分别为45.3%~50.6%、12.93%~14.27%,K2O Na2O为1.3%~2.8%,TFeO/MgO为1.11~2.02,CaO为10.4%~14.47%,K2O<0.3%,Na2O为0.97%~2.47%。总体上具有玄武质或辉长质岩石的成分特征,属于钙碱性系列,具有MORB的特征,表明其原岩来自大洋环境。松多榴辉岩大多数样品的稀土元素配分模式显示轻稀土元素亏损,无明显的Eu异常,重稀土元素平坦。微量元素蛛网图均显示从Zr到Yb属于平坦型,基本上未发生分馏。松多榴辉岩的LaN/YbN比值为0.19~0.56,LaN/CeN为0.75~0.81,LaN/SmN为0.37~0.81,三者均小于1;Hf/Th除了石英榴辉岩中的06Y-344样品为6.81外,其他样品为11.10~33.97,均大于8;Ce/Nb为2.72~19.02,均大于2;Th/Yb为0.01~0.10,均小于或等于0.1,也说明其原岩具有典型MORB的特征。锆石SHRIMPU-Pb定年获得松多榴辉岩的变质年龄为261Ma±5.3Ma,推测其原岩可能为古特提斯洋盆的残留。 相似文献
