珠江河口区盐度变化周期特征分析——以磨刀门水道为例 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
珠江河口区具有三江汇流、八门入海的复杂河网,水动力条件存在多种不确定性,加之河口区水资源系统受快速城市化、河口挖沙与河道整治、上游水利工程调度、海平面上升等多重因素影响,盐水入侵现象异常复杂。选取磨刀门水道广昌站近10年来(2001―2011年)枯水期逐日及逐时盐度序列,应用小波分析方法,研究了珠江河口区―磨刀门水道盐度序列多时间尺度周期特征。研究结果表明:磨刀门水道盐度变化周期特征与潮汐周期特征一致,存在明显的日周期(24.6 h)、半月周期(14.8 d)及不明显的半日周期(12.3 h)、月周期(30 d)。 相似文献

咸潮只是河口偏于向陆一侧盐度较低(0.5~10)的那一部分盐淡混合或冲淡水体,不宜将河口“咸水”和海洋“盐水”等同或混为一谈;视“咸潮上溯”为“盐水入侵”欠当。咸潮上溯为河口自身物质的随潮运动,基本上是一种被动的行为。咸潮上溯之动力机理,与河口水、盐物质于一年、一月和一天中随潮在河口的进出、“排”“蓄”循环运动过程有关。小潮向中潮变化时期(一月中)及其初落时段(一天中),河口正处于由“蓄”(进)转“排”(出)阶段,其时表“排”(淡水)、底“蓄”(咸水),水体高度呈层,受异重流的影响,底部咸潮进一步上溯“冲刺”达盐度最大值。大潮向中潮变化时的压咸效果最佳。 相似文献

This is the first of two papers that describe the surface hydrology of the Lake Eyre Basin (LEB) (1,140,000 km2) in central Australia and compares some key characteristics with those observed from arid regions globally. This paper concentrates on annual rainfall, whereas the second paper is devoted to streamflow. The first part describes the LEB's climate (arid to semi-arid), which is dominated by a subtropical high pressure ridge stretching latitudinally across central Australia. Then follow major analyses that include the characteristics of rainfall, wet and dry spell lengths and cumulative surpluses and deficiencies, rainfall trends and intra- and inter-decadal fluctuations, and the relationship between rainfall and El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO). The paper concludes with six conclusions, the key ones being: the variability of the annual rainfall (based on the coefficient of variation) in the LEB is approximately 60% greater than that found for stations located in arid regions in the rest of the world; there is a bias towards longer lengths of dry years than observed in the rest of Australia; and, there is a significant lag correlation between rainfall and ENSO, particularly in the east and in the latter part of a year. 相似文献

In this paper, the relationships between paleo-precipitation and the regional influence of El Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO)
in South America are assessed from a high-resolution calendar varve-thickness record. Two short laminated sediment cores (53
and 61 cm length) from Lago Puyehue (40° S) are analysed by continuous varve measurements through the last 600 years. The
calendar varve years are determined by the occurrence of graded planktonic-rich layers. The annual sediment accumulation rates
are reconstructed by using the standard varve-counting methods on thin sections. The 1980–2000 varve-thickness record is interpreted
in terms of climate through correlation with limnological and local monthly instrumental climate databases. The comparison
between the standardized varve thickness with the instrumental records reveals a strong correlation (r = 0.75, р = 0.07) between the total varve thickness and the austral autumn/winter precipitation. We argue that strong austral winter
winds and precipitation are the forcing factors for the seasonal turn-over and phytoplankton increase in the lake sediments.
During strong El Nino events the precipitation and the winds decrease abnormally, hence reducing the thickness of the biogenic
sediments deposited after the winter turn-over. Our results show one significant regional maximum peak of winter precipitation
(>900 mm) in the mid 20th century and a significant period with lower winter precipitation (<400 mm) before the 15th century,
i.e., the late Medieval Warm Period. The first peak in the mid 20th century is confirmed by the regional precipitation database.
The influence of ENSO cycles over the last 600 years is assessed by spectral analysis in Fagel et al. (2007). The possible influence of the regional volcanism and/or the seismic activity on the local climate record is also discussed.

Prior to the collection of a series of sediment cores, a high- and very-high-resolution reflection seismic survey was carried
out on Lago Puyehue, Lake District, South-Central Chile. The data reveal a complex bathymetry and basin structure, with three
sub-basins separated by bathymetric ridges, bedrock islands and interconnected channels. The sedimentary infill reaches a
thickness of >200 m. It can be sub-divided into five seismic-stratigraphic units, which are interpreted as: moraine, ice-contact
or outwash deposits (Unit I), glacio-lacustrine sediments rapidly deposited in a proglacial or subglacial lake at the onset
of deglaciation (Unit II), lacustrine fan deposits fed by sediment-laden meltwater streams in a proglacial lake (Unit III),
distal deposits of fluvially derived sediment in an open, post-glacial lake (Unit IV) and authigenic lacustrine sediments,
predominantly of biogenic origin, that accumulated in an open, post-glacial lake (Unit V). This facies succession is very
similar to that observed in other glacial lakes, and minor differences are attributed to an overall higher depositional energy
and higher terrigenous input caused by the strong seismic and volcanic activity in the region combined with heavy precipitation.
A long sediment core (PU-II core) penetrates part of Unit V and its base is dated as 17,915 cal. yr. BP. Extrapolation of
average sedimentation rates yields an age of ca. 24,750 cal. yr. BP for the base of Unit V, and of ca. 28,000 cal. yr. BP
for the base of Unit IV or for the onset of open-water conditions. This is in contrast with previous glacial-history reconstructions
based on terrestrial records, which date the complete deglaciation of the basin as ca. 14,600 cal. yr. BP. This discrepancy
cannot be easily explained and highlights the need for more lacustrine records from this region.

Lake Shkodra (northern Albania, southern Montenegro) is a large (45 km length, 15 km width) and shallow (5 m mean depth) lake,
developed on a mainly karstic carbonate substratum. Its recent sedimentary fill (mixed calcareous/siliciclastic clayey silts)
was analysed through short gravity cores representing five centuries of environmental archive. A combination of high resolution
texture analysis (particle size), magnetic susceptibility, carbon content, and radionuclide activity profiles (210Pb, 137Cs, 241Am) permitted us to detect and date environmental changes, such as the Little Ice Age and the 1962–1963 catastrophic floods.
Anthropogenic influences on the watershed, such as damming of the Drin River in the late 1970s, also appear to be recorded.
Impacts of known strong earthquakes (1905, 1979), however, could not be clearly detected in the sediment record. The potential
of the Shkodra lacustrine archive for paleoseismic investigations on long time intervals (such as Holocene) is discussed.

Sulfur has played a central role in the acidification of many lakes in Scandinavia and other regions. As part of the research
into sulfur cycling, numerous studies have analyzed the sediment record in order to develop insights into past in-lake cycling
of sulfur, particularly in the context of reconstructing past deposition rates. Although many of these studies have shown
that it is not easy to interpret the sediment record in terms of past sulfur deposition rates, analyses of sulfur in sediment
still provide valuable information on the response of lakes to anthropogenic sulfur deposition. Here, we have analyzed sulfur
in top and bottom samples from short surface cores (25–35 cm, representing ≥250 years) as well as bulk cores from ∼110 lakes
located throughout Sweden, which were collected during 1986, as well as in more-detailed profiles from six lakes. The lakes
with the highest surface sediment concentrations (9–24 mg S g−1 dry mass) and the highest calculated inventories of ‘excess’ sulfur (20–180 g S m−2) are found in southern Sweden and around one industrial area along the northeastern coast where sulfur deposition rates and
lake-water concentrations have been highest. For many lakes in the central and northern inland region it is common that the
sediment cores exhibit either no enrichment or even a decline in sulfur concentrations in near-surface sediments, which we
suggest was the pre-pollution norm for lakes. Although interpreting sulfur sediment profiles is problematic for reconstructing
deposition, a more-comprehensive spatial sampling approach shows that there is a good geographic agreement between sulfur
deposition, lake-water chemistry and sediment sulfur accumulation. 相似文献

Web-based Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are excellent tools within interdisciplinary and multi-national geoscience
projects to exchange and visualize project data. The web-based GIS presented in this paper was designed for the paleolimnological
project ‘High-resolution CONTINENTal paleoclimate record in Lake Baikal’ (CONTINENT) (Lake Baikal, Siberia, Russia) to allow
the interactive handling of spatial data. The GIS database combines project data (core positions, sample positions, thematic
maps) with auxiliary spatial data sets that were downloaded from freely available data sources on the world wide web. The
reliability of the external data was evaluated and suitable new spatial datasets were processed according to the scientific
questions of the project. GIS analysis of the data was used to assist studies on sediment provenance in Lake Baikal, or to
help answer questions such as whether the visualization of present-day vegetation distribution and pollen distribution supports
the conclusions derived from palynological analyses. The refined geodata are returned back to the scientific community by
using online data publication portals. Data were made citeable by assigning persistent identifiers (DOI) and were published
through the German National Library for Science and Technology (TIB Hannover, Hannover, Germany). 相似文献

Assessment of nutrient sources and paleoproductivity during the past century in Longgan Lake,middle reaches of the Yangtze River,China 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) were determined in combination with stable isotope
ratios of carbon and nitrogen (δ13COrg, δ15N) in a 63 cm sediment core from Longgan Lake, located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, China. These geochemical
and isotopic records provide a continuous history of lake productivity and trophic state of Longgan Lake since 1890. Variations
of δ13COrg, TOC, TN and TP indicate that primary productivity of Longgan Lake increased continuously during the last century and that
the trophic state of the lake shifted from oligotrophic to mestrotrophic conditions accordingly. Anthropogenic sources of
organic carbon (OC), nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) were distinguished from their natural background in the sediments using
mass accumulation rates. Element mass accumulation rates suggested increased human activities in the lake’s catchment since
1950s, were especially the utilization of artificial fertilizers amplified the anthropogenic input of N and P into the lake.
In the course of the improved availability of dissolved nutrients also primary productivity of Longgan Lake increased, resulting
in an increase of the Suess-effect corrected organic carbon isotope ratios. δ15N of bulk sediments show a marked shift towards lower values around 1950 that has been attributed to the input of nitrogen
from chemical fertilizers characterized by relatively depleted isotopic signatures into the lake. 相似文献
