Work migration is increasing in Norway, particularly in the production sector of the aquaculture industry. This sector is growing rapidly and manual labor needed in the industry is consistently being sought through Eastern European networks and temp-agencies. This article looks at the island community of Frøya, in Sør Trøndelag in Norway, where around 20% of the population is of foreign descent, and where stakeholders in the production line experience a lack of upward mobility due to their lack of Norwegian language skills, and the insecure nature of their employment status. The capacity of the island community to adapt to a 3-fold increase in aquaculture production will depend on this segment of society as well being able to adjust, and on their inclusiveness in society. Based on a stakeholder driven workshop looking at the perceptions of a set of foreign workers in the aquaculture industry,segmented labor market theory was applied to the experience of the workers. The priority issues of the migrant population of Frøya involved in the aquaculture industry was also explained, and their wish for upward mobility and job security, as well as inclusiveness in society elaborated upon. This upward mobility, however, would lead to the bottom segment of the labor market on Frøya – the aquaculture production line – to have to be filled with another lower segment group of workers.  相似文献

This article presents a general introduction to the development in China since 1980s in precision seafloor survey and mapping. Emphasis is given to the processing and integration of data from the acquisition system centered on the multibeam bathymetric survey equipment, and to the interactive map generation systems, MBChart, SeaMap, and SeaGIIS. For modeling the topological relations between spatial objects, the concepts of a bound on the intersection of the boundary and interior, and the boundary and exterior are defined in this paper based on the newly developed computational fuzzy topology. Furthermore, the qualitative measures for the intersections are specified based on the α‐cut induced fuzzy topology, which are (Aα∧?A)(x)<1?α and ((Ac)α∧?A)(x)<1?α. In other words, the intersection of the interior and boundary or boundary and exterior are always bounded by 1?α, where α is a value of a level cutting. Specifically, the following areas are covered: (a) the homeomorphic invariants of the fuzzy topology; (b) a definition of the connectivity of the newly developed fuzzy topology; (c) a model of the fuzzy topological relations between simple fuzzy regions in GIS; and (d) the quantitative values of topological relations can be calculated.  相似文献

我国地震前兆台网先后经历了“模拟和人工”、“九五”数字化、“十五”网络化等3个阶段,目前并行运转着“模拟和人工”、“九五”、“十五”等3套观测系统,这增大了前兆台网运行维护工作的复杂性.2010年起开始实施的前兆台网改造升级工作,将“九五”、“模拟和人工”观测系统整体并入了“十五”系统.其主要工作内容包括台站接入改造、前兆专业软件升级和并网仪器历史数据的迁移等几个方面,以实现前兆台网3套观测系统统一的运行监控、数据采集、存储、交换、管理和服务.本文系统分析了前兆台网观测系统的现状和存在的问题,介绍了观测系统整合的主要工作内容、技术关键点、取得的成果和效益等.  相似文献

The sensitivity of gravity and magnetic data to deep structures and the broad availability of regional data sets and surveys of high resolution make them suitable for determining detailed three-dimensional (3D) models of the subsurface. However, the sole consideration of gravity and magnetic information cannot properly resolve heterogeneous 3D environments. Advocated to solve this problem, we present an automated refinement technique for three-dimensional multilayer models as conditioned by gravity and magnetic data and by meaningful geometrical and physical constraints. We construct our model by an aggregate of rectangular prisms and aim to estimate their bottom depths, which define the geological layers. We summarize mathematically our concept of refinement in an objective function that includes the misfit to the data, the similitude to an a priori geological–geophysical model, and the smoothness of the relief of the layers. Importantly, our objective function also includes inequality constraints that prevent the superposition of layers and integrate the surface and borehole geology with the multilayer deep model. The objective function is solved using quadratic programming in a stable iterative scheme. The resulting algorithm is tested on synthetic data and applied to crustal and sedimentary basin environments from southern Baja California, Mexico. The assimilation of the geological and geometrical constraints to the inversion process produces models that correlate with the surface geology and reveal the three-dimensional features of the subsurface.  相似文献
