Phase D is a dense hydrous magnesium silicate (ideal formula MgSi2H2O6) which contains silicon cations exclusively in octahedral coordination. Measurements of the unit cell parameters of phase
D were made to pressures of 30 GPa using a diamond anvil cell and employing synchrotron X-ray diffraction. A neon pressure
medium was used. Using a third order Birch-Murnaghan equation of state the isothermal bulk modulus of phase D was determined
as 166(±3) GPa with K′ equal to 4.1(±0.3). The compression of phase D is anisotropic with the c-axis twice as compressible as the a-axis. Above 20 GPa, however, the c/a ratio becomes pressure independent.

High-pressure single crystal X-ray diffraction experiments of phase anhydrous B and superhydrous B have been carried out to 7.3 and 7.7?GPa, respectively, at room temperature. Fitting a third-order Birch-Murnaghan equation of state to the P-V data yields values of V 0?=?838.86?±?0.04?Å3, KT,0?=?151.5?±?0.9?GPa and K′?=?5.5?±?0.3 for Anhy-B and V 0?=?624.71?± 0.03?Å3, KT,0?=?142.6?±?0.8?GPa and K′?=?5.8?±?0.2 for Shy-B. A similar analysis of the axial compressibilities in Anhy-B reveals that the c-axis is most compressible (Kc?=?137?±?3?GPa), the b-axis is least compressible (Kb?=?175?±?4?GPa), and the a-axis is intermediate (Ka?=?148?±?1?GPa). In Shy-B, the a-axis is most compressible (Ka?=?135?±?1?GPa), followed by the b- and c-axes which have similar compressibilities (Kb?=?146?±?3?GPa; Kc?=?148?±?3?GPa). The fact that the b-axis of Shy-B is approximately 16% more compressible than Anhy-B is primarily due to differences in the O-T layer in which the H atoms are located and the linkages with the adjacent O layers. The rigid edge-sharing chains of MgO6 and SiO6 octahedra in the O layer control compressibility along the a- and c-axes in both structures. The net result is a reduction in the overall anisotropic compression from ~22% in Anhy-B to ~9% in Shy-B. 相似文献

苏南块体中地壳存在一低速层,Vp约为5.8~6.0km/s,它与地下高导层相对应,电阻率仅4~20Ω·m,是中地壳塑性层的反映;苏南块体属于太平洋型块体,是有利的油气分布区块;它处在地球化学急变带上,壳幔相互作用比较强烈,故该区的油气受深部因素的影响或控制比较明显,是有利的深部无机成因油气分布区。中地壳低速高导层(蛇纹石化橄榄岩)构成油气“发生器”;上地幔则是“原料库”;沉积盆地是“存储器”。当地幔流体中H2缺失或不足时便没有烃生成,只能形成CO2或以CO2为主的气藏。黄桥CO2气藏已被公认是幔源无机成因气体,实质上是由在中地壳进行的不完整费-托合成反应所致。镇江—常州—无锡—苏州—昆山一带为油气富集带,具有深部成因油气的良好远景。 相似文献

This paper provides a global analysis of recent trends in the EU fishing fleet. Analysis of the capital productivity, labour rates, and economic benefits of the fleet revealed that considerable replacement of fishermen by better technology and well-equipped vessels occurred between 1990 and 2006. The analysis confirms that the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) has been ineffective in reducing fishing capacity. In addition, the changes in capacity that occurred in this time interval differed among the different sectors of the fleet. Some members of the high sea fishing fleet increased their capacity (range 11–57%), and the deep-sea sector, which has greater tonnage and fishing power, increased its fishing capacity by 34–44%. These results confirm the ineffectiveness of the CFP in reducing overcapacity and illustrate the continuing threat of overcapacity to the long-term sustainability of fishery resources. 相似文献

High Reynolds number flows around a circular cylinder close to a flat seabed have been computed using a two-dimensional standard high Reynolds number k–ε turbulence model. The effects of gap to diameter ratio, Reynolds number and flat seabed roughness for a given boundary layer thickness of the inlet flow upstream of the cylinder have been investigated. Hydrodynamic quantities and the resulting bedload transport have been predicted, and the vortex shedding mechanisms have been investigated. Predictions of hydrodynamic quantities around a cylinder located far away from the bed (so that the effect of the bed is negligible) are in satisfactory agreement with published experimental data and numerical results obtained for the flow around an isolated cylinder. Results for lower Reynolds number flows have also been computed for comparison with the high Reynolds number flow results. Overall it appears that the present approach is suitable for design purposes at high Reynolds numbers which are present near the seabed in the real ocean. 相似文献

Analysis of the simulated climatic characters of the South Asia High with a flexible coupled ocean-atmosphere GCM 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The ability of a climate model to reproduce the climatic characters of the South Asia High (SAH) is assessed by analyzing the 110-yr output of a Flexible Coupled GCM, version 0 (FGCM-0). Comparing the results of FGCM-0 with the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data, the major findings show that FGCM-0 has better results in simulation of the geopotential height field at 100 hPa, and reproduces fairly the main atmospheric circulation centers. However, there are still some differences in the simulated results compared with the reanalysis data. The coupled model also successfully reproduces the mean seasonal variation of the SAH, that is, it moves from the Pacific Ocean to the Asian continent, remaining over the Tibetan Plateau from winter to summer, and then withdraws from the Tibetan Plateau to the Pacific Ocean from summer to winter. However, such observed relationships between the SAH positions and the summer precipitation patterns cannot be fairly reproduced in the FGCM-0. 相似文献
