The fluorescence and molecular weight characteristics of dissolved organic matter (DOM) in groundwater of Bangladesh were investigated to evaluate its multiple roles on arsenic (As) mobilization and poisoning. Fluorescence properties of DOM were measured in groundwater samples collected from two As contaminated areas of Bangladesh (Faridpur at the Ganges floodplain and Sonargaon at the Meghna floodplain) from different locations and depths. The three dimensional excitation–emission matrix (3DEEM) fluorescence spectra of groundwater samples showed two characteristic peaks around Ex/Em = 335–365 nm/435–480 nm for fulvic-like peaks and peak at around Ex/Em = 275–290 nm/310–335 nm for the protein-like materials. The similarity of fluorescence spectra of groundwater and surface water of both the study areas with high intensity of fluorescence and its strong correlation with DOC reflect the in situ generation of fluorescent DOM from sedimentary organic matter (SOM) and recent recharge of terrestrial labile organic carbon into shallow aquifer. High performance size-exclusion chromatography (HPSEC) analysis of DOM shows positive correlations between fluorescence intensities (FI) of small molecular fractions (0.65 kDa) and As concentrations, with the signatures of protein-like peaks of DOM in groundwater. This result provides new evidence that small molecular weight fraction of DOM in groundwater of Bangladesh can play an important role on As mobilization and toxicity. In addition, high concentration of fluorescence materials in DOM of As contaminated groundwater of Bangladesh may pose a threat to public health.  相似文献

铌钽是发展新兴产业所需的功能性和结构性材料,铌钽矿产是国家重点支持的战略新兴矿产资源,开展相关物料中铌钽的分析技术研究具有重要意义。由于铌和钽的物理化学性质十分相似,彼此难以分离,且易水解,加之地质样品分解困难,因此铌和钽的分析测试一直困扰着分析工作者。本文重点对铌钽元素分析中的样品前处理技术和现代分析测试技术进行综述。样品前处理是铌钽分析的关键环节,结合分析方法和样品特性,选择合理的样品分解和分离富集方法是准确测定铌钽的前提。仪器分析是现代分析测试技术的主流,电感耦合等离子体发射光谱/质谱法(ICP-OES/MS)是目前测定铌钽应用最多的方法,需要解决共存组分的干扰、基体效应和盐类影响等问题。激光剥蚀(LA)技术、X射线荧光光谱法(XRF)和中子活化分析法(NAA)采用固体进样,避免了前期样品处理的繁琐步骤和杂质的引入,是铌钽元素分析发展的方向。  相似文献

We present a breadboard prototype to perform in situ dating applicable to planetary exploration. Based on the K–Ar dating method and using instruments inspired by flight‐proven analytical components, ‘KArMars’ ablated a geological sample under high vacuum with a quadrupled ultraviolet (UV at 266 nm) Nd:YAG laser. During ablation, the K content of the target material was given by laser‐induced breakdown spectroscopy and the released 40Ar was measured with a quadrupole mass spectrometer. Because K was measured as a concentration and 40Ar as a count of atoms, these values were converted using the ablated mass given by the product of the density and the ablated volume. The uncertainties of the age measurement were < 15%. The quality of the K–Ar measurements was enhanced by the advantages of UV laser ablation such as the minimisation of thermal effects on argon diffusion. This work demonstrates that a specialised instrument inspired by this set‐up could provide in situ absolute geochronology with sufficient precision for scientific investigations, particularly where the crater density counting provides higher uncertainties on Mars.  相似文献

基于微扰理论,研究了内部存在一个同轴圆柱扰动体时圆柱谐振腔共振频率的偏移问题.其中,圆柱谐振腔的边侧面是刚性的,上下底面应力自由.经过推导,得出了圆柱扰动体存在时谐振腔的声势与共振频率的表达式.在此基础上,分析了谐振腔与圆柱扰动体各种参数对谐振腔共振频率的影响.数值模拟结果表明,谐振腔的共振频率受扰动体在谐振腔中的位置影响较大.圆柱谐振腔的共振频率在圆柱扰动体居中时是最大值,并且其共振频率对扰动体的声速敏感;当扰动体在谐振腔两端时,谐振腔共振频率是最小值,并且其对扰动体的密度敏感.最后,通过数值模拟结果和实验测量结果之间的对比,发现两者的基本变化趋势是吻合的.  相似文献

Rare earth elements (REEs) are a group of metals essential to high technology industries. This high demand, combined with a high supply risk, has led to an understanding that REEs are critical to society. Despite the potential that hyperspectral imaging (HSI) data offers for a fast and non-invasive characterization of the REEs, it is still poorly understood whether REEs have some information in the long-wave infrared (LWIR; 8–12 μm) wavelength range that can be used for their identification. To partially fill this gap, we have investigated the spectroscopy of twelve REE-bearing mineral samples using relatively high spatial and spectral resolution LWIR hyperspectral imaging data. These samples were formerly characterized using electron probe microanalysis (EPMA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and hyperspectral imaging data acquired in the 0.4–2.5 μm wavelength range. Results from these analyses were compared to and used to guide the analysis of the HSI data recorded in the LWIR range. This information was further compared to a reference spectral library of rare earth oxides. Our findings suggest that the spectral features of the samples can generally be traced to the asymmetric degenerate stretching and bending modes of the X-O (X = C, Si, P) groups. Moreover and contrary to what has been observed in the shorter wavelengths, there are no definitive spectral features in the LWIR wavelength region that could be assigned to any specific REE.  相似文献

天然紫晶与合成紫晶的鉴别是国内外珠宝鉴定实验室的一个难题,前人主要从双晶、色带、包裹体、红外吸收光谱特征等方面开展了研究。在利用红外光谱鉴别天然紫晶与合成紫晶时,不同的学者尚对3595cm-1或3543cm-1吸收峰作为诊断性还是指示性的判据存在不同认识。本文系统采集了典型的天然紫晶与合成紫晶样品,研究了利用红外光谱测试技术鉴别天然紫晶与合成紫晶的局限性,并尝试将偏振拉曼光谱应用于紫晶成因鉴别。结果表明:利用3595cm-1、3543cm-1红外吸收峰进行紫晶鉴别仅具有指示性意义,不能作为决定性的判定依据,偏振拉曼光谱可作为重要的补充。天然紫晶的偏振拉曼光谱(偏振方向:HH)均出现400cm-1的拉曼峰,而该峰在合成紫晶偏振拉曼光谱中缺失;合成紫晶的偏振拉曼光谱(偏振方向:HH)均具有795cm-1、448cm-1的拉曼峰,而这两个峰在天然紫晶偏振拉曼光谱中缺失。偏振拉曼光谱产生差异的原因可能与天然紫晶和合成紫晶内部晶格变形程度的不同有关。本文揭示的400cm-1、448cm-1和795cm-1偏振拉曼峰可作为鉴别紫晶成因的新依据。  相似文献

We present the results of the high-resolution spectroscopic observations of the neglected binary system HD 194495 (B3 IV-V+B4 V). A combined analysis of three different photometric data set (Tycho BT and VT photometry, Hp-band data of Hipparcos and V-band data of ASAS3 photometry) and radial velocities indicates that the system has an orbital period of 4.90494 ± 0.00005 days and an inclination of 69 ± 1 degrees. This solution yields masses and radii of M1 = 7.57 ± 0.08 M and R1 = 5.82 ± 0.03 R for the primary and M2 = 5.46 ± 0.09 M and R2 = 3.14 ± 0.08 R for the secondary. Based on the position of the two stars plotted on a theoretical H-R diagram, we find that the age of the system is ?28 Myr, according to stellar evolutionary models. The spectroscopic and photometric results are in agreement with those obtained using theoretical predictions.  相似文献

由于海水盐度大、有机质含量低,从海水中提取和纯化克级溶解性有机质(dissolved organic matter,DOM)一直十分困难。基于Bond Elut PPL固相萃取小柱法进行海水DOM固体样品提取的放大试验,建立DOM自动化调酸、PPL树脂吸附技术,最后形成提纯、冷冻干燥PPL-DOM(通过PPL树脂提取的DOM)完整工艺。采用元素分析、三维荧光光谱、红外光谱和固态13C核磁共振(NMR)波谱法进行样品表征。结果表明:(1)该方法对近海表层海水DOM回收率稳定在50%以上,搭建的提取装置DOM日吸附量可达230mg;(2)鳌山湾四个季节批次PPL-DOM整体分析结果表明,样品的元素组成和光谱特征相似,表明方法适用性和稳定性较好;(3)三种水生态环境的PPL-DOM13C NMR谱图显示样品的基本特征相似,以烷基碳、碳水化合物碳、芳香碳和羧基碳/酰胺碳为主,其中偶极去相(dipolar dephasing)谱显示了DOM前体化合物来源的差异。多种结果表明放大后的PPL固相萃取法可稳定提取克级DOM样品。  相似文献
