北半球月平均环流异常垂直结构的综合分析

本文用一种时空综合的经验正交函数分析方法,对北半球100、500和700hPa三层月平均高度距平场进行展开,得到了不仅能反映各层高度距平场本身的空间结构分布特征,而且能同时反映各层高层距平场之间有机联系的特征向量场.分析结果表明:北半球月平均环流异常在垂直方向上具有明显的相当正压性结构特征.     

IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CLASSIFICATION PERFORMANCE OF RDA

Regularized discriminant analysis has proven to be a most effective classifier for problems wheretraditional classifiers fail because of a lack of sufficient training samples,as is often the case in high-dimensional settings.However,it has been shown that the model selection procedure of regularizeddiscriminant analysis,determining the degree of regularization,has some deficiencies associated with it.We propose a modified model selection procedure based on a new appreciation function.By means ofan extensive simulation it was shown that the new model selection procedure performs better than theoriginal one.We also propose that one of the control parameters of regularized discriminant analysis beallowed to take on negative values.This extension leads to an improved performance in certain situations.The results are confirmed using two chemical data sets.     

Forward Calculation of 2-D and 3-D Structures with a Cover by the Boundary Element Method while Using Electrical Methods

This paper develops the boundary element method,the authors employtwo-layered earth Green’s functions as the weighting functions of residual andderive boundary integral equations.The forward problems of point sources on2-D and 3-D structures with an influencing cover are solved by this method.The results show that this method markedly improves the original boundaryelement method.The features of the improved method are greater numericalaccuracy and much smaller systems of equations and thus considerable savingsfor the storage capacity of computers,allowing us to solve the above problemswith only ordinary microcomputers.The results in this paper extend the scopeof applying the boundary element method while using electrical methods forgeophysical prospecting.     

对中国大陆区域地磁场提取的认识

本文从球谐函数理论的物理含义、中国地磁数据的分布情况及实际计算结果的分析,提出对当前用球谐函数拟合法提取中国大陆区域地磁异常的几点认识。     

地倾斜前兆异常的模糊分析

本文用隶属函数和模糊聚类分析对泰安台和佘山台地倾斜矢量形变异常序列和当地地震序列进行统计研究,计算分析结果对于在统计范围内判别有无地震发生以及估计将会发生的地震震级大小,得到了预期的结果。     

PRELIMINARY STUDY OF BAROTROPIC STOCHASTIC DIFFERENCE MODEL APPLIED TO WEATHER PREDICTION

In order to consider both the deterministic and the stochastic property of atmospheric motion simul-taneously,in this paper,the weather prediction is proposed as the problem of the evolution of meteorologicalfield.The historical viewpoint of atmospheric motion is emphasized here.Based on time series analysis te-chnique,a stochastic-dynamical model with multiple initial fields is derived.Thus,weather forecasting is sum-meal up as a problem of solving a set of stochastic difference equations.For the barotropic atmosphere,thenumerical solutions of the equations are obtained by using the method of empirical orthogonal functions(EOF),and examples of medium-range weather prediction are given here.Meanwhile,selecting the order oftime series,i.e.,determining the number of initial fields properly,is also discussed.     

数字成象系统调制传递函数的测定及应用

本文首次探讨了数字成象系统调制传递函数的测定方法及应用。试验结果表明:该测定方法不仅合理可行,而且强有力地证明了MTF的应用价值。即不仅用于象质的评价,而且为成象系统的检定和调试提供了新的技术手段。     

利用LAU效应测定干涉滤光片的中心透过率波长值

本文提出一种利用LAU效应测定干涉滤光片中心透过率波长值的理论和实验方法,这一方法不但具有精度高、装置简单、方法简便等优点,而且由该方法所获得的实验结果,可以作为当前有关平面周期物体LAU 效应新理论的一种实践检验。
