Effect of the Twin Jetties as A Regulating Structure at the Tao-er Estuary

The phase one project of the twin jetties at the Tao-er Estuary yields no effect on the flow, and there is a large area of deposition. A numerical model is employed to simulate the flow field, and the scouring and silting in the channel be-tween the two jetties are analyzed. The results show that the effective tidal flux between the two jetties is reduced due to the notch located at the heel of the east jetty, and the effect of contraction-flush is not obvious. As for the regulation of this kind of estuary under the tide action, the capability of tidal flux should be fully used.     

Steady Response of a Ventilated Thermocline to Enhanced Ekman Pumping

The steady response of the ventilated thermocline to an increase in Ekman pumping is investigated, focusing on the effect of the mixed layer depth distribution on the subsurface density anomaly. We consider only the subtropical gyre, and the mixed layer is assumed to be deep in the northwest and shallow elsewhere with a narrow transition zone separating the deep and shallow mixed layer regions. At the intersection of this narrow transition zone and the outcrop line, low potential vorticity fluid is subducted into and ventilates the thermocline. In such a situation, an enhancement of the Ekman pumping confined to the northern subtropical gyre leads to pronounced subsurface cold anomalies in the southern subtropics, which is free of anomalous forcing. These density anomalies are much greater than those that occur when either the mixed layer depth is zonally uniform or the Ekman pumping is enhanced in the whole subtropical gyre. They are caused by anomalous changes in the trajectory of the low potential vorticity fluid in response to anomalous Sverdrup flow. A Study on the Spectral Form of Nearshore Water Waves

- The spectral form of wind waves is investigated based on the ocean wave data observed at three nearshore stations of Taiwan. In this study, the generalized forms of Pierson-Moskowitz spectrum and JONSWAP spectrum are used to describe the local wave spectrum by selecting suitable spectral form parameters. It is shown that, at a specific site, the similarity of wave spectral form exists. Thus it is possible to use a representative spectral form for a given nearshore region to describe the wave spectrum at this nearshore. On the other hand, the effects of relative water depth on spectral form are examined. The feasibility of two spectral models in finite water depth is evaluated by using the same field wave data.     

耗散源函数及LAGFD-WAM海浪数值模式的改进

本文是在LAGFD-WAM海浪模式方法基础上,根据破碎波统计理论给出了LAGFD耗散源函数形式。同时对LAGFD-WAM模式进行了改进并与WAM模式作了三种典型风场下的对比实验和实测结果检验,取得了较好的结果。

城市交通网络要素的可视化表达是GIS—T研究和应用领域中的一个难题,本文在对目前流行的交通网络数据模型进行系统研究的基础上,选择了动态分段技术下的结点-弧段模型,对交通网络复杂要素进行可视化表达,并对城市交通网络要素的可视化表达方法和形式进行了分析,最后结合交通网络复杂要素的可视化表达,设计和创建了具体的数据结构表和数据结构图。     

GIS平台下分形维数计算的设计开发和应用

GIS作为一种新兴的技术在空间数据处理和解析方面具有强大的扩展功能,已经在测绘领域得到了广泛的应用。本文针对分形维数计算的问题,在GIS平台下基于空间数据模型提出了该问题的解决方案,并利用通用COM技术设计和开发了分形维数计算系统。该系统成功地应用于工程实践,对今后GIS在相关专业领域更深层次的应用具有一定的借鉴意义。     

基于MAPGIS的市政设施数据模型研究

本文主要介绍了市政基本设施的组成,提出了基于MAPGIS基本数据组织的市政设施数据模型,并讨论了市政设施数据模型的实现。从而,利用该数据组织模型可实现城市级的市政设施管理的综合集成与共享,提高市政设施管理和养护水平。     

基于DXF的OpenFlight数据创建方法研究

针对虚拟城市仿真系统应用中OpenFlight模型缺乏、建模方式单一,难以构建复杂模型的情况,本文提出基于CAD文件来构建Opeflght模型的方法,在详细分析OpenFlight和DXF的数据组织结构的基础上,设计了基于DXF的OpenFlight数据创建方案并编程实现。通过实例测试证明该方案能快速、完整地进行数据转换,为虚拟城市系统的三维仿真模型构建提供了一条行之有效的途径。
