地下水补给资源估算是地下水资源可持续开发利用的重要依据,传统地下水资源评价工作往往是采取水均衡法或达西定律等评价地下水补给资源,很少采用环境示踪剂方法。环境示踪剂在地下水补给研究中具有重要价值,特别是在干旱半干旱地区是一种非常简单可靠的评价方法。本文介绍了两种常见的环境示踪剂(3H、Cl)方法氚峰法和氯质量平衡法的基本原理及其在地下水补给研究中的主要应用,其中氯质量平衡法不仅可以估算地下水的补给量,而且可以研究植被覆盖变化对地下水补给影响和示踪地下水补给历史及气候变化。  相似文献

化学质量平衡法是目前应用最为广泛的大气颗粒物源解析受体模型之一。针对利用化学质量平衡法进行源解析时,需建立大量的污染源成分谱,耗财耗力,同时选择不同的污染源及特征元素拟合时易导致源解析结果不确定性的问题,结合正矩阵因子分解法模型,提出了化学质量平衡法与正矩阵因子分解法的耦合模型,利用正矩阵因子分解法模型解析出各污染源及其特征元素,确定化学质量平衡法模型拟合参数及污染源清单。对比各污染源的理论贡献量与模拟贡献量,结果表明,耦合模型拟合结果与理论值差异不大,验证了耦合模型的可行性。耦合模型缩减了化学质量平衡法模型建立污染源成分谱的工作量,提高了化学质量平衡法模型进行源解析工作的高效性、准确性。  相似文献

遥感方法估算区域蒸散量应用比较广泛的有两种,一种是完全以地表热量平衡方程为基础.用遥感方法估算出净辐射、土壤热流量和显热通量,然后用余项法求出蒸散量;另一种是以Penman—Monteith方程为基础.结合地表热量平衡方程,直接估算出蒸散量。本文根据国内外的研究现状,对应用遥感方法估算区域蒸散量的制约因子进行了深入的分析,这些制约因子包括(1)图像信息源;(2)反照率、比辐射率和表面温度等地表参数的遥感反演精度;(3)空气动力学阻抗和表面阻抗模型;(4)估算结果的验证方法(5)时间尺度的扩展问题。分析结果表明:长期以来由于这些因子中所涉及到的许多关键技术和难点问题都没得到很好的解决,因而极大地制约着应用遥感方法估算区域蒸散量的发展。通过对制约因子的分析.可以有助于高精度遥感蒸散模型的建立。  相似文献

Extensional basins include mainly grabens and half grabens displaced along a lower detachment. Based on area balance theory, there is a linear relationship between a height of regional and the lower detachment h on the outside of the basin and “lost area S“ from the regional in the basin. The pre-growth beds above lower detachment are of the same extensional displacement so that an “S-h diagram“ can be used to determine the depth to lower detachment and to calculate the total extensional displacement of the beds above the lower detachment. The extensional displacement is dominated by the heave of various scale normal faults. The displacement of obvious faults can be immediately figured out from the measured bed-length. The requisite extension calculated by area balance is the layer-parallel strain, which could be accommodated by displacement on sub-resolution faults. Accordingly, the layer-parallel strain can help us predict the magnitude and distribution of sub-resolution faults on the basis of analysis of the structural style and rheological behavior.  相似文献

Treelines are widely studied worldwide in relation to climate changes because they are hypothesized to be sensitive climate proxies. However, forest treeline expansion toward higher altitudes may be influenced both by a warming climate and by other factors, such as surface morphology and, in the European Alps, the decline in alpine farming. Our results from five valleys in the inner and peripheral regions of the Alps show that present-day treeline altitudes mostly depend on anthropogenic and orographicgeomorphologic factors. Climatic treelines are limited to steep and inaccessible slopes, and occur at higher altitudes and farther from mountain peaks in the inner regions than in the peripheral regions of the mountain range. Looking for sites in which to study treeline responses to climate change, we recommend investigating the inner regions of the Alps where treelines are farther from human disturbances and from geomorphologic constraints, potentially resulting in freer upward shifts under warmer temperature conditions. We also found that, in the valleys selected, human disturbance is mainly concentrated about 165 m below non-climatic treelines, suggesting a homogeneous influence on treelines, regardless of geographic position.  相似文献

Modelling melt and runoff from snow‐ and ice‐covered catchments is important for water resource and hazard management and for the scientific study of glacier hydrology, dynamics and hydrochemistry. In this paper, a distributed, physically based model is used to determine the effects of the up‐glacier retreat of the snowline on spatial and temporal patterns of melt and water routing across a small (0·11 km2) supraglacial catchment on Haut Glacier d'Arolla, Switzerland. The melt model uses energy‐balance theory and accounts for the effects of slope angle, slope aspect and shading on the net radiation fluxes, and the effects of atmospheric stability on the turbulent fluxes. The water routing model uses simplified snow and open‐channel hydrology theory and accounts for the delaying effects of vertical and horizontal water flow through snow and across ice. The performance of the melt model is tested against hourly measurements of ablation in the catchment. Calculated and measured ablation rates show a high correlation (r2 = 0·74) but some minor systematic discrepancies in the short term (hours). These probably result from the freezing of surface water at night, the melting of the frozen layer in the morning, and subsurface melting during the afternoon. The performance of the coupled melt/routing model is tested against hourly discharge variations measured in the supraglacial stream at the catchment outlet. Calculated and measured runoff variations show a high correlation (r2 = 0·62). Five periods of anomalously high measured discharge that were not predicted by the model were associated with moulin overflow events. The radiation and turbulent fluxes contribute c. 86% and c. 14% of the total melt energy respectively. These proportions do not change significantly as the surface turns from snow to ice, because increases in the outgoing shortwave radiation flux (owing to lower albedo) happen to be accompanied by decreases in the incoming shortwave radiation flux (owing to lower solar incidence angles) and increases in the turbulent fluxes (owing to higher air temperatures and vapour pressures). Model sensitivity experiments reveal that the net effect of snow pack removal is to increase daily mean discharges by c. 50%, increase daily maximum discharges by >300%, decrease daily minimum discharges by c. 100%, increase daily discharge amplitudes by >1000%, and decrease the lag between peak melt rates and peak discharges from c. 3 h to c. 50 min. Six small, steep, south-west facing catchments (1.63–4.62 ha) have been monitored in Westland, New Zealand since 1974. Two catchments were retained in native mixed evergreen forest and the rest were subjected to various harvesting and land preparation techniques before being planted with Pinus radiata between 1977 and 1980. The 11-year water balance for the native forest catchments was: rain = streamflow + interception loss + transpiration + seepage (2370mm = 1290mm + 620mm + 360mm + 100mm). In the year after treatment streamflow generally increased by 200–250 mm, except for one treatment (clearfelling, herbicide application, no riparian reserve) where the increase was 550 mm. The catchments were planted with Pinus radiata, but rapid colonization by bracken (Pteridium esculentum) and Himalayan honeysuckle (Leycesteria formosa) led to a rapid decline in streamflow, which returned to pre-treatment levels after an average of about five years. Streamflow yields then continued to decline for another two to three years before stabilizing at a level about 250mm yr?1 lower than pre-treatment levels. At this time the catchments had a dense bracken/honeysuckle understorey beneath 5 m tall pine trees.  相似文献

The Late Quaternary glaciation of Tibet has received considerable attention in the last few decades due to its influence on the regional climate, especially the Asian summer monsoon. Recently, however, it has been argued that the Tibetan ice sheet also might have played an important role in initiating global-scale palaeoclimatic changes. Controversy, however, exists on the nature of Late Quaternary ice cover over Tibet due largely to the subjectivity in the interpretation of the sparse and complex geomorphological evidence. We have examined this problem in the light of δ 18O data (a temperature proxy) of ice cores-from the Dunde ice cap on the northern flank of Tibet. Considering only the gross features in the Dunde ice-core isotopic data, we have interpreted a temperature decrease of 4°–6°C and consequent lowering of equilibrium line altitude (ELA) in the range 700–850 m during the last glacial stage (LGS). This could have caused depression of the snow line below the mean altitutde of the Tibetan plateau, resulting in an areally extensive but marginally thick ice cover. However, if one also considers the possibility that precipitation on the Tibetan plateau during LGS may have been significantly lower than at present, the ELA depression would be much less than that estimated by considering the temperature effect alone.  相似文献

The parameterization scheme SPONSOR (Semi-distributed ParameterizatiON Scheme of the ORography-induced hydrology) participating in PILPS (Project for Intercomparison of Land-surface Parameterization Schemes) experiments since 1993 is described in more detail than before, taking into account a range of recent modifications. Improvement of the scheme in several aspects (e.g., soil water movement) resulted in significantly improved results for the Cabauw site (used for PILPS (2a) experiments). Then, parameterization of cold seasons/regions processes (water phase transformations within soil and snow cover) was developed for PILPS (2d) experiments carried out with Valdai data. Testing of the scheme against the data of Kolyma water balance station shows that it is able to reproduce the main features of heat and water exchange at the land surface in the permafrost zone quite satisfactorily. It was found that the scheme results are rather sensitive to the soil heat conductivity, especially in the cold seasons. The original method for the calculation of this parameter was developed using a square root function. The surface temperature and dates of crossing the 0°C temperature threshold for Kolyma station were reproduced with satisfactory accuracy. The temporal variation of the deep soil layers' temperatures was modelled satisfactorily too, but the seasonal amplitude of deep soil temperatures was overestimated by the scheme. This disadvantage can possibly be improved by inclusion of vertical inhomogeneity of soil thermal and hydraulic properties in the model.  相似文献

Urbanization presents an unplanned and highly replicated global experiment to understand biotic responses to global changes. Here we conducted a global analysis on patterns and drivers of urbanization effects on biodiversity using the global amphibian richness dataset along with background climate and the continuous rural-urban gradients. We, for the first time, empirically generalized the urbanizational gradients of amphibian richness at the global scale and in different climate zones despite the substantial differences in history, ecological context, and socioeconomic conditions across large geospatial extents. We found a positive imprint of urbanization on amphibian richness in cool and climate zones whereas the presence of urban thermal stress in high temperature climate zones. Anthropogenic forces behind the urbanization gradients entangled with environmental variables directly and indirectly drove the patterns as revealed by the structural equation modeling (SEM). The urbanizational diversity gradient (UDG) found in this study might signify the existence of another general principle in ecology analogous to well-known latitudinal and elevational diversity gradients. We proposed the heat-and-threat balance (HATB) hypothesis to explain UDG: urbanization-induced heat would promote biodiversity if the ambient temperatures are cooler than their optima. Alternatively, it may put threats on biodiversity when the ambient temperatures are close to their optima. There is an urgent need to advance the knowledge on UDG in an urbanizing planet by additional studies from diverse taxa, various geographical locations, and at different scales.  相似文献
