Resourcesat-1 satellite offers a unique opportunity of simultaneous observations at three different spatial scales through LISS-IV, LISS-III* (improved LISS-III) and AWiFS sensors from a common platform. The sensors have enhanced capabilities in terms of spectral, spatial and radiometric resolution as compared to earlier Indian Remote sensing Satellite sensors. This paper summarizes the results of various studies such as evaluation of sensor characteristics, inter-sensor comparison studies, derivation and validation of surface reflectance measurements, quantification of improvements due to Resourcesat-1 sensors, and their use for various agricultural applications. The studies presented in this paper demonstrate that suit of sensors onboard Resourcesat-1 satellite provides better prospects for several agricultural applications like crop identification, discrimination and crop inventory for some major Indian crops, than its predecessors on IRS satellites.  相似文献

感知技术的发展为文化遗产的探测、保护、利用和传承带来了机遇和挑战。鉴于当前文化遗产研究中应用的感知技术的复杂性及多样性,本文对感知技术及其在文化遗产研究中的应用进行系统梳理。首先,对感知技术的概念进行总结,重点介绍在文化遗产研究中发挥重要作用的多源遥感平台、社交媒体、移动通讯、智能交通等多源传感器的特点,以及关键信息处理技术,包括数据挖掘和知识发现、可视化技术以及虚拟现实技术;其次,梳理了感知技术在物质文化遗产、非物质文化遗产以及群体对于文化遗产的体验和评价等方面的应用进展;最后,探讨了文化遗产研究中感知技术在数据精度、多源数据融合、信息处理等方面存在的问题,指出其数据共享化、平台网络化和应用社会化的发展趋势。  相似文献

综合定位、导航与授时(PNT)的核心是不过分依赖GNNS,采用一切可以应用的PNT信息源实施全空域目标定位、导航与授时服务。本文分析了综合PNT需求,论述了综合PNT的基本定义和基本概念,分析了综合PNT所涉及的信息源,论述了综合PNT关联的核心技术,包括多源PNT传感器集成技术、多源PNT的数据融合技术。强调指出,综合PNT体系的信息源必须是"基于不同物理原理的多源信息";综合PNT的运控系统应该基于云平台,实现用户志愿者共同测控;用户终端或传感器必须"深度集成、低功耗";PNT服务信息必须是"智能融合或自适应融合"。综合PNT系统应该在统一时空基准下,满足服务的可用性、精确性、可靠性、连续性和稳健性。  相似文献

The Archimedes Wave Swing (AWS) pilot plant, rated at 2 MW, was tested offshore at Póvoa de Varzim in northern Portugal in 2004, gathering a large team of engineers and scientists. The Mechanical Engineering Department of Instituto Superior Técnico was involved, following previous work done for the project. The present paper describes one of the studies conducted. It aims to characterise the sea state at the actual location of the pilot plant using the available pressure sensors. Two approaches were performed: a first one purely based in linear wave theory, neglecting the presence of the device, and a second one, based on the results from a Boundary Element Method (BEM) code named AQUADYN, originally developed at École Centrale de Nantes (France), which allowed a detailed quantification of the effects of the presence of the plant on the wave profile directly above it. Comparisons with a Datawell Waverider buoy located at a certain distance from the plant also played an important role in the current study.  相似文献

The paper deals with inferring the mechanical layer properties of pavement systems by way of inverse analysis. The proposed scheme is based on the availability of sensory gear embedded within the system ‐ collecting different types of response traces resulting from moving wheel loads. The inverse analysis task simultaneously exploits the readings from all available sensors and therefore formulated as a multicriterion optimization problem. Data from an experimental asphalt pavement are employed to demonstrate the scheme. A versatile and computationally efficient layered viscoelastic pavement model is offered and implemented as a forward solver. Recoverable layer properties, elastic and viscoelastic, are derived and also compared with laboratory values. Results and possible future uses of the work are discussed. This briefing describes the first deployment of a new electronic tracer (E‐tracer) for obtaining along‐flowpath measurements in subsurface hydrological systems. These low‐cost, wireless sensor platforms were deployed into moulins on the Greenland Ice Sheet. After descending into the moulin, the tracers travelled through the subglacial drainage system before emerging at the glacier portal. They are capable of collecting along‐flowpath data from the point of injection until detection. The E‐tracers emit a radio frequency signal, which enables sensor identification, location and recovery from the proglacial plain. The second generation of prototype E‐tracers recorded water pressure, but the robust sensor design provides a versatile platform for measuring a range of parameters, including temperature and electrical conductivity, in hydrological environments that are challenging to monitor using tethered sensors. In this paper, a criterion is proposed for the choice of the optimal location of a limited number of recording sensors for reconstruction of seismic responses of multistorey frames. Reconstruction of unknown responses is performed by modelling through a spline shape function the evolution of the relative acceleration along the height of the building. The coefficients of the spline function are determined by interpolating available responses in terms of absolute accelerations taking into account boundary conditions. The optimal location for a given number of recording sensors is defined as the one corresponding to the minimum value of the global error evaluated on the whole set of reconstructed responses. The criterion has been verified by using simulated responses of numerical models of multistorey frames and responses recorded on real buildings during the Northridge earthquake. A physical characterization of the location of available sensors leading to the minimum global error between calculated and real responses is proposed in terms of effective modal participation factors relevant to the principal modes of the structure. This characterization allows for frames of known modal characteristics the definition of a criterion for the choice of the location of a limited number of sensors for monitoring or vibration control purposes.
