The concentrations of lipids were determined in atmospheric particle, gas and rain samples collected from the tropical North Pacific to assess lipid sources, transport mechanisms and fluxes to the ocean surface. Four lipid compound classes (aliphatic hydrocarbons, fatty alcohols, fatty acid esters, and salts) all unequivocally show a terrestrial vascular plant source. These aerosol lipids originate from wind erosion of Asian and American soils and direct emission from vegetation. The major fluxes result from rain rather than dry deposition. These fluxes are large enough to have a major potential impact on the inventory of terrestrially derived lipid material found in deep-sea sediments. This has been showm for n-alkanes, fatty alcohols, fatty acids, total lipids and for organic carbon. By comparing atmospheric and sediment trap fluxes with sediment accumulation rates, it is suggested that some biogenic terrestrial material is more protected from degradation than marine-derived material. 相似文献

Numerical modelling of aeolian erosion over a surface with non‐uniformly distributed roughness elements 下载免费PDF全文
The present study is focused on the analysis of the mean wall friction velocity on a surface including roughness elements exposed to a turbulent boundary layer. These roughness elements represent non‐erodible particles over an erodible surface of an agglomeration of granular material on industrial sites. A first study has proposed a formulation that describes the evolution of the friction velocity as a function of geometrical parameters and cover rate with different uniform roughness distributions. The present simulations deal with non‐uniform distributions of particles with a random sampling of diameters, heights, positions and arrangements. The evolution (relative to geometrical parameters of the roughness elements) of the friction velocity for several non‐uniform distributions of roughness elements was analysed by the equation proposed in the literature and compared to the results obtained with the numerical simulations. This comparison showed very good agreement. Thus, the formulation developed for uniform particles was found also to be valid for a larger spectrum of particles noted on industrial sites. 为了对发生于2008年07月04日北京的一次强对流天气有更多的认识,利用三维对流云模式对其进行数值模拟研究。结果表明:模式可以较好地模拟出强对流天气各主要宏观发展阶段的特征,以及云中水成物粒子转化的微观特征;模式能够很好地模拟出此次强对流天气过程的风场特征,对流系统中存在有利的环境条件,风暴是由气流的辐合上升引起的。在发展初期,对流云低层为辐合上升气流,在对流云发展的成熟阶段,近地面层以辐散气流为主,中上层以辐合气流为主,且辐合达到最大,之后随着云体的消散,低层辐散下沉气流加强。气流在顶端转变方向,形成辐散出流。 相似文献

Thin film methods and X ray energy dispersive technique were applied to analyze sulfate-containing particles in Beijing in order to examine their features and sources. Atmospheric aerosol particles were collected on electron mi-croscope meshes according to two size ranges: coarse particles (r>0.5μm) and fine particles (0.5μm≥r≥0.1μm) by using a two-stage impactor. It was found fiat more than seventy percent of the fine particles and about twenty percent of the coarse particles were sulfate-containing particles. These particles were formed mainly through heterogeneous nucleation. The element composition analyses revealed that the atmospheric aerosol particles in Beijing were domi-nated by crustal particles and construction dust. 相似文献

本文首先采用一线辐射对流模式,分析了乡村型、城市型气溶胶和平流层气溶胶含量增加对全球地表气温的直接影响以及硫酸盐粒子含量增加对全球地表气温的间接影响。然后利用考虑了海洋热惯性作用的EBM/BD模式,模拟了近百年来由于大气中硫酸盐粒子含量变化、火山爆发和大气温室气体浓度增加共同引起的全球地表平均气温变化。结果表明:气溶胶的气候效应在地气系统辐射收支和全球气温变化研究中起着非常重要的作用。 相似文献

结合地球化学和纳米科学技术的理论和研究方法,研究隐伏金属矿床有关微粒的形成、迁移和特征。对十多个金属矿床的研究表明,隐伏金属矿体地表沉积物中上升气流微粒样品有单个微粒和微粒聚合体,单个微粒形态有球状、近球状、不规则状、规则多边形、长柱状,微粒有晶质、非晶质和部分晶质。聚合体形态一般是不规则状、球状和近球状。它们的矿物成分主要有自然Au、自然Cu、氯化物、氧化物、硫酸盐、氢氧化物等。成矿元素Au、Cu可以自然金属或自然合金形式存在,Cu、Pb、Zn等成矿元素可以氧化物或硫酸盐等形式存在,也可以存在于氧化物、氢氧化物、氯化物、硫酸盐等微粒中作为杂质元素,这些是隐伏金属矿体的指示微粒。成矿期后,与隐伏金属矿体有关微粒主要形成于断层作用、氧化作用和生物作用。在上升气流中,微粒呈“布朗运动”。 相似文献

管道中固液两相流水击对管道和输送系统可能产生严重的破坏,而固液两相在这种非恒定流中的运动特性是计算最大水击压力变化的重要依据。采用粒子图像测速技术(Particle Image Velocimetry,PIV),通过试验研究水击发生时,水平圆管中不同平均流速、颗粒粒径条件下,流体介质和粗颗粒在管道断面的速度分布以及粗颗粒跟随性的变化规律。研究结果表明:①在水击发生的不同时刻,圆管流中粗颗粒的流速在管道断面分布呈不规则的抛物线型分布,主要表现为靠近管道壁面底部的颗粒流速略小于靠近管道顶部流速,当颗粒粒径大于1.5 mm,平均流速小于2.5 m/s时,粗颗粒表现出明显的沉降特性;②粗颗粒的跟随性与颗粒受力有密切关系,其中颗粒速度与流体速度的变化量是影响颗粒受力的重要参数;③基于试验数据拟合得到了水击条件下粗颗粒跟随性系数k的经验公式,并分析了颗粒粒径、管道直径、两相流平均流速以及水击发生时间等不同参数对粗颗粒跟随性系数的影响,公式计算值与实测值之间的误差在5%以内。 相似文献

描述了自然铜、铜合金矿物及其矿床形成的新机制。在岩浆及热液中,铜及铜合金可呈氢化物、羧基配合物及纳米粒子活性、迁移、富集形成自然铜矿床,或经以后的地质事件,长期、多次迁移富集,叠加形成富而大的自然铜矿床。在表生条件下,铜的硫化矿物被氧化分解,可形成亚铜的硫代硫酸盐及氯配合物,部分可形成铜的硫酸盐配合物迁移,由于硫代硫酸盐被氧化,亚铜岐化可形成高纯度的自然铜,但它易氧化形成孔雀石、蓝铜矿、赤铜矿、黑铜矿、硅孔雀石等,因此很难形成自然铜矿床。 相似文献

North End Lake is a polluted and eutrophic freshwater system located in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Since the lake is expected
to be used for recreational/tourist purposes by 2010, a rehabilitation program will have to be designed. For this reason,
we retrieved a sediment core from the central region of the lake to decipher the effect of historical human impacts on the
water body. Pre-disturbance paleolimnological inferences indicate that the lake was likely mesotrophic. After ∼1831, when
sheep farming activities were undertaken in the catchment, increases in trophic state and changes in sediment composition
were observed. After ∼1937, increases in trace metal levels, organic matter, spheroidal carbonaceous particles (SCP) and changes
in sediment composition were recorded. The system became eutrophic as indicated by the dominance of the diatom Actinocyclus normanii, a cosmopolitan species often observed in systems where water quality has been dramatically degraded. The conditions worsened
after 1986 because of the construction of a storm-water retention system, which intentionally channeled storm-water runoff
into the lake. Because of this, extremely high values of fecal coliforms (i.e. 2 × 106 every 100 ml) have been measured in the water column. The paleolimnological information identified the sharp increase in
organic content in the uppermost section of the core, and this could be correlated to the operation of the storm-water retention
system. Therefore, as an immediate management measure, we suggest that the storm-water retention system should either no longer
be utilized, or the storm-water runoff should be treated before disposal into the lake. In addition, an effective sewage system
