In situ droplet-size distributions were measured using a laser in situ scattering and transmissiometry (LISST-100X) particle size analyzer during the evaluation of natural and chemical dispersion efficiency of crude oils under different wave and current conditions. An entropy grouping of the in situ dispersed oil droplet-size spectra has classified the multi-modal droplet-size distributions into different groups based on similar droplet-size spectra characteristics within groups and distinction between groups. A generalized linear logistic regression model was fitted to analyze the effects of a number of factors and their interactions on the grouping of oil droplet-size spectra. The grouped results corresponded to the oil dispersion efficiency at different levels. This new method for droplet-size distribution data analysis can have significant implication in field evaluation of natural and chemical dispersion efficiency of oil. 相似文献

To estimate the near-fault inelastic response spectra, the accuracy of six existing strength reduction factors (R) proposed by different investigators were evaluated by using a suite of near-fault earthquake records with directivity-induced pulses. In the evaluation, the force-deformation relationship is modelled by elastic-perfectly plastic, bilinear and stiffness degrading models, and two site conditions, rock and soil, are considered. The R-value ratio (ratio of the R value obtained from the existing R-expressions (or the R-μ-T relationships) to that from inelastic analyses) is used as a measurement parameter. Results show that the R-expressions proposed by Ordaz & Perez-Rocha are the most suitable for near-fault ground motions, followed by the Newmark & Hall and the Berrill et al. relationships. Based on an analysis using the near-fault ground motion dataset, new expressions of R that consider the effects of site conditions are presented and verifi ed. 相似文献

本文采用多种成分分析手段对官山两种不同颜色坡缕石全粘土进行了研究。全粘土湿化学分析扣除SiO2含量计算得到的坡缕石阳离子数与电子探针获得的阳离子数一致。配位八面体阳离子计算表明,粉红色坡缕石为三八面体矿物,灰白色坡缕石是介于三八面体矿物和二八面体矿物间的中间类型。X射线粉末衍射的K值法对全粘土矿物定量分析有着较高的精度,同时用电子探针波谱可准确测定坡缕石粘土的成分。官山两种不同颜色含坡缕石的全粘土红外吸收谱能反映其中坡缕石的吸收谱特征。对X射线光电子能谱研究表明两种不同颜色的坡缕石中的铁主要是Fe^3 ,这与全岩湿化学分析的结果是一致的,同时也还可以作为电子探针成分分析的补充。 相似文献

To examine the effects of horizontal resolution on internal gravity waves simulated by the 40-level GFDL SKYHI general circulation model, a comparison is made between the 3° and 1° resolution models during late December. The stratospheric and mesospheric zonal flows in the winter and summer extratropical regions of the 1° model are much weaker and more realistic than the corresponding zonal flows of the 3° model. The weaker flows are consistent with the stronger Eliassen-Palm flux divergence (EPFD).The increase in the magnitude of the EPFD in the winter and summer extratropical mesospheres is due mostly to the increase in the gravity wave vertical momentum flux convergence (VMFC). In the summer extratropical mesosphere, the increase in the resolvable horizontal wavenumbers accounts for most of the increase in the gravity wave VMFC. In the winter extratropical mesosphere, the increase of VMFC associated with large-scale eastward moving components also accounts for part of the increase in the gravity wave VMFC.The gravity waves in the summer and winter mesosphere of the 1° model are associated with a broader frequency-spectral distribution, resulting in a more sporadic time-distribution of their VMFC. This broadening is due not only to the increase in resolvable horizontal wavenumbers but also occurs in the large-scale components owing to wave-wave interactions. It was found that the phase velocity and frequency of resolvable small-scale gravity waves are severely underestimated by finite difference approximations. 相似文献
