提取准双周和准一月低频振荡的Lanczos滤波器及其应用   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:2  
根据青藏高原大气热源季内振荡分析的实际需要,设计了适于提取准双周(10~20d)、准一月(20~40d)振荡的Lanczos滤波器(L.f.)。通过与Butterworth滤波器(B.f.)滤波效果的定量分析,确定了准双周、准一月L.f.窗宽参数l的临界值l0分别为24、46;当l≥l0时,L.f.滤波器性能全面优于B.f.。选用拉萨附近格点(90°E,30°N)的1950—2006年整层大气热源资料做了应用试验,结果表明,由l=121的L.f.得到的拉萨夏季准双周、准一月振荡分量质量可靠,可用于青藏高原大气热源季内振荡强度的年际差异和季内过程分析。  相似文献

华北降水年代际振荡及其与全球温度变化的联系   总被引:15,自引:2,他引:15  
利用小波分析,发现华北近百年降水变化中除了较强的年际振荡外,存在明显的准20年振荡,但60年代后信号减弱,导致持续的偏旱气候.在全球温度场中也存在类似尺度的振荡.分析还表明,我国范围内副热带与中纬带温度差异呈现与我国北方降雨十分相似的振荡谱,20多年尺度的振荡较为明显,且也是60年代以来有所减弱.华北降雨与中低纬温差呈正相关,特别表现为两者的准20年尺度振荡位相极为吻合,在此尺度上,南北温差较大时华北降水较多.北美地区温度和一些区域降水气候也同样存在准20年振荡信号,与华北降水变化近于反相  相似文献

In order to investigate the characteristics of water wave induced liquefaction in highly saturated sand in vertical direction, a one-dimensional model of highly saturated sand to water pressure oscillation is presented based on the two-phase continuous media theory. The development of the effective stresses and the liquefaction thickness are analyzed. It is shown that water pressure oscillating loading affects liquefaction severely and the developing rate of liquefaction increases with the decreasing of the sand strength or the increasing of the loading strength. It is shown also that there is obvious phase lag in the sand column. If the sand permeability is non-uniform, the pore pressure and the strain rise sharply at which the smallest permeability occurs. This solution may explain why the fracture occurs in the sand column in some conditions.  相似文献

In many regions of the world, planning agricultural and water management activities is usually done based on probabilities for monthly rainfall, taking on values on specified intervals of values. These intervals of monthly rainfall amounts are commonly grouped into three categories: drought, normal rainfall, and abundant rainfall. Changes in the probabilities for occurrence of monthly rainfall amounts within these climatic rainfall categories will influence the decisions farmers and water managers will take (for example, crops to cultivate, flood preparedness, and operations of water reservoirs). This research explores the changes produced by the SO (Southern Oscillation) on the probability that the areal average of monthly rainfall (AAvMR) takes on values belonging to specified climatic rainfall categories. The semi-arid region under study is a major agricultural region in central Argentina; weather effects on agriculture in this region influence the world market of several crops. The evolution of the Southern Oscillation was divided into three phases: LSOI (low Southern Oscillation index phase, that includes ENSO events), NSOI (neutral SOI phase), and HSOI (high SOI phase that includes La Niña–SO events). The following are the criteria defining the three phases of the SO: (1) low SOI (ENSO), where the five-month moving average of the SO index, SOI, is less than −0.5 standard deviation during at least five consecutive months, and is equal to or less than −1 standard deviation during at least one month; (2) high SOI (La Niña–SO), where the SOI is greater than 0.5 standard deviation during at least five consecutive months, and is equal to or greater than 1 standard deviation during at least one month; and (3) neutral SOI (transition between extremes), where the SOI does not correspond to low SOI nor to high SOI. It was found that the Southern Oscillation influences the probability distribution of monthly rainfall only in four months of the year. Findings show that monthly rainfall has a complex response to the evolution of the SO. The response is not restricted to higher probability for occurrence of abundant rainfall or drought categories during low SOI (ENSO) or high SOI (La Niña–SO) episodes, respectively. The LSOI (ENSO) phase influences the AAvMR in several ways: depending on the month, it increases or decreases the probability of the abundant rainfall category. LSOI (ENSO) also increases or decreases, depending on the month, the probability of the normal rainfall category. It also decreases the probability that AAvMR takes on values in the drought category. A similar kind of complex response of monthly rainfall amounts occurs when the active phase is the HSOI (La Niña–SO). The responses are: (1) the probability of the category `drought' increases only in three months of the year, (2) increase or decrease of the probability of the normal rainfall category, depending on the month, and (3) decrease of the probability of the abundant rainfall category. Finally, the effects of NSOI (neutral phase of the SO) are not negligible. Depending on the month, NSOI episodes increase or decrease the probability of drought, or abundant rainfall, or normal rainfall categories.  相似文献

The space-time features of major vorticity disturbances over the western North Pacific during the 1997-98 E1 Ni(?)o ranked as one of the strongest events on record was investigated in this study.We distinguished the different roles that these disturbances had on different timescales in causing the reversal or turnabout of the E1 Ni(?)o event.Remarkable differences in the various disturbances of synoptic,intraseasonal,and interannual timescales were found in the time evolution,propagation,and in their contributions to the changes in near- equatorial zonal flow,which was crucial to the demise of the warm sea surface temperature anomalies in the central-eastern Pacific.It is hypothesized that the westward-traveling synoptic and intraseasonal oscillations in the western North Pacific might be considered as a self-provided negative feedback from the E1 Ni(?)o and played an additional role in its reversal in comparison with other interannual internal and external forcings. In this case,the off-equatorial synoptic and intraseaonal fluctuations served as a stochastic forcing for the tropical ocean and gave rise to the aperiodicity or irregularity of the E1 Ni(?)o-Southern Oscillation.  相似文献

利用中国气象局上海台风研究所整编的热带气旋最佳路径资料、 向外射出长波辐射 (OLR) 和NCEP/NCAR再分析风场资料, 研究了1991年夏季西北太平洋热带气旋的群发性特征及其与大气季节内振荡的关系。结果表明, 1991年6~9月西北太平洋地区的对流活动存在20~60天的准周期振荡, 该区域的热带气旋活动也具有这种频率的季节内变化, 即热带气旋的活动具有明显的群发性和周期性。进一步分析表明, 热带气旋易集中出现在大气季节内振荡的湿位相, 这是因为湿位相期间大气低层维持的较大尺度的低频气旋性环流为天气尺度的热带气旋的生成提供了有利的背景环流场。低频气旋中心东南侧的不稳定低空西风急流容易激发出一些小扰动, 低空的低频正涡度异常又有利于这些初始小扰动的增长, 同时, 热带气旋发生势 (genesis potential) 表现为正距平, 说明热带气旋发生发展的垂直风切变条件容易满足, 因而导致热带气旋的相继群发。  相似文献

Guangdong suffered from the most serious precipitation of its corresponding time during the dragon-boat race of 2008 since 1951.The relationship between the strong dragon-boat precipitation in 2008 and atmospheric low-frequency oscillation was analyzed with the methods of wavelet analysis,correlation and Lanczos filter.Results showed that the daily rainfall exhibits a significant 7 to 12-day quasi-periodic oscillation(namely quasi-10-day oscillation) during the precipitation,the daily 500 hPa height over Guangdong exhibits a significant 8 to 13-day quasi-periodic oscillation,and the daily 850 hPa zonal wind averaged over the north of the South China Sea presents a significant quasi-12-day periodic oscillation.The Guangdong rainfall during the annually first rainy season is most closely correlated with monsoon over the north of South China Sea,and less closely with an upper-level trough at 500 hPa affecting Guangdong.Strong monsoon surges induced two heavy rainfall processes in 2008.The monsoon surges joined with a westward-propagating quasi-10-day oscillation that originated from the central Pacific and was enhanced in a strong convective region east of the Philippines and a northward-propagating monsoon that originated from the southern South China Sea was enhanced.With composite analysis of typical phases,the common evolution characteristics of atmospheric circulation of the two heavy rainfall processes were analyzed for different phases.These features can be used as reference for medium prediction of heavy rainfall processes in Guangdong.  相似文献

A self-contained derivation of the IPESD models [Majda, A.J., Klein, R., 2003. Systematic multi-scale models for the tropics. J. Atmos. Sci. 60, 393–408] governing synoptic and planetary scale tropical flows is provided. This derivation demonstrates the analytic tractability of the model and the effect of zonally and meridionally tilted synoptic scale heating on the forcing of planetary scale flows through upscale momentum and temperature fluxes. Exploiting the analytic tractability of the models, different aspects of the planetary scale forcing are traced to meridional and vertical tilts in the synoptic scale heating profile. Variants of the archetypal IPESD models for the Madden–Julian oscillation (MJO) presented in Majda and Biello [Majda, A.J., Biello, J.A., 2004. A multi-scale model for tropical intraseasonal oscillations. Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. 101, 4736–4741; Biello, J.A., Majda, A.J., 2005. A new multi-scale model for the Madden–Julian oscillation. J. Atmos. Sci. 62, 1694–1721] are studied. In addition to vertically tilted synoptic scale heating, the models discussed herein incorporate upscale zonal momentum flux due to meridional flux convergence arising from meridionally tilted heating. The effect of a boundary layer momentum drag at the base of the free troposphere is also systematically incorporated into the IPESD models. Both meridional tilts and lower boundary layer drag are shown to meridionally confine the MJO westerly wind burst and drive a planetary scale barotropic flow. Meridionally tilted heating can also greatly strengthen the wind burst at the base of the troposphere and modify its vertical profile. The competing effects of meridionally tilted, and off-equatorial heating can also significantly weaken the MJO winds. Appendices are provided which discuss generalizations and a solution algorithm for the IPESD models.  相似文献

分析了电涌保护器(SPD)使用中所涉及到的雷电流能量配合设计。首先分析了单级SPD与被保护设备之间的配合,使用最大振荡距离和耦合距离的计算公式来测算配合的成功性;其次分析了多级SPD之间的配合,着重分析了两级SPD(开关型和限压型组合)的配合,并采用瞬态级间电压降微分方程作为能量配合中所必须遵循的关系式,以及用不同雷电流波形来计算解耦合器的大小,最后提出一个可行的SPD能量配合设计基本步骤。  相似文献
