Computational Techniques of 2D Tidal Flow in Estuaries and Bays   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
- Some problems in the numerical calculation of tidal flow in estuaries and bays, such as distribution bed roughness, relationship between model moving boundary and water volume balance, remedy of certain shortage under open boundary conditions, smooth transfer of the controlling message for the inner boundaries of nested model, can not be solved usually by means of the fundamental equations and computing mode adopted in the numerical model, but can be done by the measures which not only satisfy the physical features but also are convenient for operation. Based on the calculated samples of some areas of Modaomen, Lingdingyang and Huangmaohai of the Pearl River Estuary, and Shuidong Bay (a typical barrier- lagoon tidal channel) in Guangdong Province, method and process of calculation for the above mentioned problems are briefly presented in this paper.  相似文献

Many observed data show that the near-bed tidal velocity profile deviates from the usual logarithmic law. The amount of deviation may not be large, but it results in large errors when the logarithmic velocity profile is used to calculate the bed roughness height and friction velocity (or shear stress). Based on their investigation, Kuo et al. (1996) indicate that the deviation amplitude may exceed 100%. On the basis of fluid dynamic principle, the profile of the near-bed tidal velocity in estuarine and coastal waters is established by introducing Prandtl' s mixing length theory and Von Kannan selfsimilarity theory. By the fitting and calculation of the near-bed velocity profde data observed in the west Solent, England, the results are compared with those of the usual logarithmic model, and it is shown that the present near-bed tidal velocity profile model has such advantages as higher fitting precision, and better inner consistency between the roughness height and friction velocity. The calculated roughness height and friction velocity are closer to reality. The conclusions are validated that the logarithmic model underestimates the roughness height and friction velocity during tidal acceleration and overestimates them during tidal deceleration.  相似文献

The paper considers the effects of sea roughness and atmospheric stability on the wind wave growth by using the logarithmic boundary layer profile including a stability function, as well as adopting Toba et al.'s [J. Phys. Ocean. 34 (1990) 705] significant wave height formula combined with some commonly used sea surface roughness formulations. The wind wave growth is represented by the non-dimensional total wave energy relative to that for neutral stability used by Young [Coast. Engng 34 (1998) 23]. For a given velocity at the 10 m elevation, spectral peak period and stability parameter, the wind wave growth is determined.  相似文献

本文采用美国国家浮标站(44008)2003年1~3月的资料,通过COARE算法(版本2.6b),比较了O02和TY01这两种海面空气动力粗糙度长度的参数化方案。通过对摩擦速度、拖曳系数、海面粗糙度及风应力等物理因子的计算得出:在粗糙的海面上,TY01和O02两种参数化方案的计算结果是比较一致的。在考虑浪的信息方面,TY01和O02都是很好的参数化方案.它们都可以适用于不同的风速条件,适用于各种尺度的海洋及湖泊。但是这两种方案在处理幼波时存在不连续的缺点。并且,对于风速较小的光滑海面,尽管它们计算的结果较一致,但是仍然存在偏差。据此,本文的结果对于理论分析和数值计算如何正确使用上述两种海面空气动力粗糙度参数化方案,可提供必要的参考价值。  相似文献

精细准确预报大风风速对于风功率预报和风灾防御具有重要意义。本文以上海市域为研究区域,基于形态学方法估算上海市域空气动力学粗糙度分布,并通过近地层分层风速插值方法推算上海市域10 m高度精细风速分布。针对2016年1月23日20时—24日20时一次大风过程开展实证检验,对比分析降尺度模拟风速、地面实测风速、ECMWF预报10 m风速的空间分布、时间变化以及垂直廓线特征。结果表明,该方法可以较好地模拟上海市域风速大小的精细空间分布,模拟精度总体上表现为中心城区精度高、郊区精度稍低,但相比于ECMWF预报10 m风速分布有了明显提高,可以为风速的精细化预报提供技术支撑。  相似文献

A coupled model of air-wave-sea interaction is modified based on a new roughness formulation and the latest data. The model parameters for aerodynamic roughness from below (ARB) and wave-dependent roughness from above (ARA, z 0a ) are assumed equal. The combined roughness is assumed to be a function of friction velocity, gravity, air and seawater densities, and wave age (c w ). The model is used in a study of wave-enhanced turbulence under breaking waves to predict turbulent dissipation (), ARA, and drag coefficient (C d ). Both waves and shear production are considered as sources of ocean turbulent energy. The atmospheric part of the model is used only to specify a correct condition at the interface. Numerical experiments are performed to study the -distribution, z 0a and C d , and to compare with data. The major achievement is model verification using all available data. The first full application of this model is in conjunction with an ocean circulation model in a coupled circulation-wave system. Simulations show that the -distribution is strongly dependent on local wind-forced wave heights. For each wind and wave state there is a particular wave-dependent depth that is verified by data. The comparison shows that the model predicted agrees well with the observed of the z –4 law distribution of Gargett (1989). Simulations also show that waves have an important role in causing to differ from the classical wall-layer theory and z 0a , with a value of 0.30 for the empirical constant a a . 块体空气动力算法的再计算湍通量与NCEP湍通量的比较   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
以NCEP资料提供的水文气象参数作为输入量,利用4种块体空气动力算法重新计算了动量和热量通量,与相应的NCEP自身提供的湍通量进行了比较分析,发现再计算动量、感热和潜热通量的偏差值随风速增加而增大;在中高风速下,再计算动量通量的相对误差较小,其他情况下再计算动量、感热和潜热通量的相对误差最高能达到50%左右;相对误差一般随纬度的增大而增大,表明两者之间存在不协调性。研究还表明,改进后的NCEP2资料与NCEP1资料相比,这种不协调性并没有得到改善。  相似文献
