我国西部生态退化的社会经济分析--以川西为例

导致川西生态退化主要原因是经济发展水平低，人口超过环境容量，农村生产方式和生活方式落后，以柴、粪为薪、天然放牧，陡坡垦殖，砍伐森林等导致植被破坏，草场退化，水土流失，据此，对川西的区域资源优势，川西较低密度人口，川西资源开发和支柱产业选择应重新评价和定位。进行川西生态建设，实施可持续发展战略，必须营造开放的社会－经济－自然复合系统的耗散结构，构造社会、经济发展与生态建设协调的有序结构和机制。同时，较彻底地改造农林牧生态系统，开创与生态协调的农业结构，生产模式，种植模式和管理模式，进行农牧区社区建设，根除刀耕火种，陡坡垦殖，游牧的社会基础。     

我国西部地区中小企业发展的环境效应及其约束-引导机制

本文从中小企业发展在我国西部开发中的作用入手 ,针对西部地区生态环境特点及其中小企业发展产生的问题 ,重点分析了中小企业发展与生态环境保护之间的关系 ,对现行的生态环境保护政策的理念进行了全新的思考。明确了促进西部中小企业发展的基本战略 ,并就西部中小企业发展过程中建立非理性作用的约束 -引导机制提出了政策建议。     

中国西部山地发展的一般模式——以天山巴音布鲁克地区为例

中国西部山区是我国的水源地及生态屏障，它们的合理开发与保护是西部大开发的基本内容。研究归纳出山地发展的“巴音布鲁克模式”：（1）天鹅及其生境的绝对保护（核心）；（2）建立可持续牧业（主体）；（3）规范和发展旅游业（突破口）；（4）西蒙古土尔扈特传统文化的保护（文化多样性）。中国西部山区的发展模式都可以概括为一个核心（自然保护）三个圈层（与当地主要土地资源相适应的主导产业，与当地特有资源相联系的新兴产业，当地民族文化保护）。这种模式能够充分体现生态优先的思想，同时考虑到促进地区新老经济及文化的发展与保护，符合西部大开发的方针。     

'In the shadow of hierarchy': meta-governance, policy reform and urban regeneration in the West Midlands

This paper explores the relationship between political hierarchy and the complex webs of political organization associated with urban governance. Deploying the concept of meta-governance and a study of urban policy reform in the West Midlands region of England, this paper claims that state and governmental hierarchies continue to have a crucial role in coordinating the activities of governance regimes in the UK. This paper concludes by considering the effects of hierarchical power on the systems of political participation and representation that are associated with urban governance.     

Crisis, coincidences and strategic market behaviour: the internationalization of Indonesian clothing brand-owners

Despite the fact that most Indonesian brand-owners continue to emphasize their marketing activities in the domestic market, several brand-owners have started to export clothing under their own label. This has been particularly the result of the economic crisis in the late 1990s, which affected companies serving the domestic market. Companies were trying to compensate for the loss of sales on the domestic market by redirecting their marketing activities to foreign countries. This export strategy has been driven largely by the sole aim to survive. However, in addition to these export activities, some companies have rather sophisticated, long-standing business relations to their distributors in overseas markets. This paper explores these export activities in the context of the global commodity chain framework.     

High spatial resolution hyperspectral mapping of in-stream habitats, depths, and woody debris in mountain streams

This article evaluates the potential of 1-m resolution, 128-band hyperspectral imagery for mapping in-stream habitats, depths, and woody debris in third- to fifth-order streams in the northern Yellowstone region. Maximum likelihood supervised classification using principal component images provided overall classification accuracies for in-stream habitats (glides, riffles, pools, and eddy drop zones) ranging from 69% for third-order streams to 86% for fifth-order streams. This scale dependency of classification accuracy was probably driven by the greater proportion of transitional boundary areas in the smaller streams. Multiple regressions of measured depths (y) versus principal component scores (x₁, x₂,…, x_n) generated R² values ranging from 67% for high-gradient riffles to 99% for glides in a fifth-order reach. R² values were lower in third-order reaches, ranging from 28% for runs and glides to 94% for pools. The less accurate depth estimates obtained for smaller streams probably resulted from the relative increase in the number of mixed pixels, where a wide range of depths and surface turbulence occurred within a single pixel. Matched filter (MF) mapping of woody debris generated overall accuracies of 83% in the fifth-order Lamar River. Accuracy figures for the in-stream habitat and wood mapping may have been misleadingly low because the fine-resolution imagery captured fine-scale variations not mapped by field teams, which in turn generated false “misclassifications” when the image and field maps were compared.The use of high spatial resolution hyperspectral (HSRH) imagery for stream mapping is limited by the need for clear water to measure depth, by any tree cover obscuring the stream, and by the limited availability of airborne hyperspectral sensors. Nonetheless, the high accuracies achieved in northern Yellowstone streams indicate that HSRH imagery can be a powerful tool for watershed-wide mapping, monitoring, and modeling of streams.     

桂西岩溶堆积型铝土矿床成矿作用及控矿因素

桂西岩溶堆积型铝土矿赋存于岩溶洼地中的红土层中，具有矿床规模大、矿石质量优的特点。成矿物质来源于上二叠统底部的古风化壳型铝土矿层，成矿时代为早更新世，矿床成因与岩溶作用、红土化作用有关。成矿受矿源层、地层岩性、气候、构造、地貌等因素控制。     

高压旋喷桩桩周土摩阻力的分析与探讨

通过对旋喷桩的单桩静载试验，探讨了桩周土摩阻力作用的情况，通过计算和分析，得出了两个结论，为旋喷桩基础的设计提供参考。     

中国西部地质灾害空间数据库系统建设

中国西部地质灾害空间数据库系统，采集了大量的西部地质灾害数据，利用GIS强大的空间数据管理功能对地质灾害数据进行管理，建成具有强大的属性查询统计、空间检索、空间分析功能的空间数据库系统。本文就建立这一数据库系统的设计思路、系统的组成和功能模块方面进行了阐述。
