西沙海域内潮与近惯性内波的相互作用   总被引:4,自引:1,他引:3       下载免费PDF全文
通过使用西沙海域锚定潜标的测流数据,分析了距浣熊台风路径100 km处海流受浣熊台风影响前后的动能谱、旋转谱和流剪切谱,从而阐明近惯性波,以及近惯性波与全日内潮波的相互作用机制.台风浣熊之后所引起的近惯性波主要在上250 m较强,其能量是普通风场所引起的40倍.近惯性波的能量向下传播至450 m左右,与此同时,强的近惯性流的剪切驱动着惯性波与全日内潮波之间的相互作用,从而产生强的近惯性波与全日内波的耦合波(f+D1).此三波耦合机制为Davies的波波相互作用理论提供了观测依据,同时,近惯性内波与全日内潮波之间的非线性相互作用,揭示了南海近惯性波能量耗散的一种机制.  相似文献

Typhoon Imbudo was a super-typhoon over the northwestern Pacific in 2003. It caused tremendous damage when it made landfalls in the Philippines and China. This paper documents observational analyses of Typhoon Imbudo during its landfall in China. All available observations are used to study its motion, intensity changes, convection, structure and precipitation. Best-track data indicate that Imbudo moved west-northwestward until 1800 UTC 23 July and then turned northwestward. FNL (final) analysis data show that the motion of Imbudo is dominated by changes of the subtropical high. At Imbudo's mature stage, the minimum sea level pressure dropped to 910 hPa and the maximum sustained winds were as high as 67 m s^-1, which is the intensity of a super-typhoon. The surface wind field exhibited asymmetric characteristics. Polar-orbiting satellite imagery also manifested convective asymmetry before Imbudo made landfall in China. Analyzed the vertical wind shear, it is shown that the convection has a downshear-left pattern. All kinds of precipitation data were used to identify the asymmetric characteristic of the rainfall associated with the Imbudo. The maximum rainfalls were located in the southern boundary area between Guangxi and Guangdong. However, the lack of in situ observations limited further analyses of this typhoon.  相似文献

The relative contribution of forest roads to total catchment exports of suspended sediment, phosphorus, and nitrogen was estimated for a 13 451 ha forested catchment in southeastern Australia. Instrumentation was installed for 1 year to quantify total in‐stream exports of suspended sediment, phosphorus, and nitrogen. In addition, a total of 101 road–stream crossings were mapped and characterized in detail within the catchment to identify the properties of the road section where the road network and the stream network intersect. Sediment and nutrient generation rates from different forest road types within the catchment were quantified using permanent instrumentation and rainfall simulation. Sediment and nutrient generation rates, mapped stream crossing information, traffic data and annual rainfall data were used to estimate annual loads of sediment, phosphorus, and nitrogen from each stream crossing in the catchment. The annual sum of these loads was compared with the measured total catchment exports to estimate the proportional contribution of loads from roads within the catchment. The results indicated that 3·15 ha of near‐stream unsealed road surface with an average slope of 8·4% delivered an estimated 50 t of the 1142 t of total suspended sediment exported from the catchment, or about 4·4% of the total sediment load from the forest. Stream discharge over this period was 69 573 Ml. The unsealed road network delivered an estimated maximum of 22 kg of the 1244 kg of total phosphorus from the catchment, or less than 1·8% of the total load from the forest. The average sediment and phosphorous load per crossing was estimated at 0·5 t (standard deviation 1·0 t) and 0·22 kg (standard deviation 0·30 kg) respectively. The lower proportional contribution of total phosphorus resulted from a low ratio of total phosphorus to total suspended sediment for the road‐derived sediment. The unsealed road network delivered approximately 33 kg of the 20 163 kg of total nitrogen, about 0·16% of the total load of nitrogen from the forest. The data indicate that, in this catchment, improvement of stream crossings would yield only small benefits in terms of net catchment exports of total suspended sediment and total phosphorus, and no benefit in terms of total nitrogen. These results are for a catchment with minimal road‐related mass movement, and extrapolation of these findings to the broader forested estate requires further research. 超强台风丹娜丝对1323号强台风菲特极端降水的作用   总被引:10,自引:6,他引:4  
利用地面观测资料、台风定位资料、ECMWF全球再分析资料等,采用TC降水天气图客观识别法(OSAT)、TC路径相似面积指数(TSAI)和气流轨迹模式HYSPILIT等方法,从2013年第23号强台风菲特在我国东南沿海引发台风暴雨的极端性分析及其成因诊断入手,揭示了双台风作用对极端暴雨的增强作用。结果表明:首先,强台风菲特给浙江带来了自1958年以来单站日降水排名第二的极端降水,余姚和奉化日降水量均为395.6 mm;"菲特"降水过程有两个明显的强降水阶段。其次,秋季强台风菲特登陆后之所以出现如此强度且持续的台风暴雨,与超强台风丹娜丝的存在密不可分。在强降水第一阶段,双台风作用促成了降水的极端性,"丹娜丝"向降水区域输送了约79.0%的水汽,对杭州湾南侧的强降水过程有重要贡献;在"菲特"强降水第二阶段,"菲特"的环流已经基本消散,超强台风丹娜丝与冷空气的共同作用主导了这一阶段强降水的发生。  相似文献

利用NCEP/NCAR提供的全球客观分析资料对1409号超强台风“威马逊”近海急剧加强的特征进行了诊断分析。结果表明:南海较高的海表温度、中低层丰富的水汽净流入为“威马逊”增强提供了有利的能量条件;维持近22 h对流层深层、高层及低层介于0~4 m/s弱环境风垂直切变是“威马逊”两次以超强台风登陆的必要条件;台风中心附近对流层高层强烈辐散、中低层正涡度值的增大和正涡度柱向对流层上层的伸展导致“威马逊”急剧增强;“威马逊”台风急剧增强具有一定前兆性,急剧增强与环境风垂直切变及对流层中低层涡度值的响应时间分别为12 h和9 h。  相似文献

基于CCMP风场资料,采用无结构网格、浪-流双向实时耦合模型FVCOM-SWAVE,模拟强热带风暴"米雷"在中国近海区域产生的海浪场,将耦合模型模拟的有效波高和平均周期与实测浮标资料进行比对,发现模拟结果的各类误差总体较小,说明耦合模型能够较好地模拟考虑浪流相互作用下中国近海台风浪过程。对比考虑潮汐引起的水位变化与不考虑水位变化情况下对耦合模型模拟结果的影响,发现在近岸区域考虑潮水位情况下的有效波高和平均周期模拟结果周期性特征明显,说明潮汐对耦合模型在近岸处有效波高的模拟影响显著。  相似文献

2016年9月14~15日超强台风“莫兰蒂”(1614)登陆厦门后在福建省中北部引发了特大暴雨天气过程,特大暴雨由台风登陆后北侧至东北侧一个缓慢移动的长生命史中尺度强对流螺旋雨带活动造成。利用中尺度数值模式WRF(V3.9)对台风登陆引发福建省中北部特大暴雨过程进行了大区域无嵌套数值模拟,较准确地模拟了台风引发特大暴雨的强度和落区,并成功地再现了台风登陆后北侧至东北侧长生命史中尺度强对流螺旋雨带的发生、发展过程。分析发现,台风大风区外围几个零散的中尺度辐合区在移入台湾地形下游的弱风切变区、正涡度带、湿静力能(假相当位温、比湿)锋区后,组织发展成一个带状的中尺度辐合带而形成强对流螺旋雨带,长时间地维持和发展,并向东北方向缓慢移动。台湾地形在有利于强对流螺旋雨带长时间组织发展和维持的中尺度环境场的形成中扮演着重要角色,即地形效应在其下游形成的正涡度带(正位涡带)、雨带(位于高湿静力能区)南侧低湿静力能带(即湿静力能锋区),对强对流螺旋雨带的长时间发展维持非常重要。地形敏感性试验的结果进一步证实了台湾地形在台风登陆后东北侧长生命史中尺度强对流螺旋雨带形成及维持中的重要作用。  相似文献

2021年夏季(6—8月)大气环流特征为:北半球极涡呈单极型分布,主体位于北冰洋上空偏向西半球,强度较常年偏强;东亚地区以纬向环流为主,副热带高压较常年平均略偏西偏南。6月,北部海域温度较低,黄渤海海雾天气多发。7月,西南季风推进,热带气旋活跃。8月,副热带高压增强西伸,热带气旋活动频次偏少。夏季共有7次海雾过程,其中6月有4次,7月有3次。我国近海出现了9次8级以上大风过程,其中热带气旋大风过程6次,温带气旋入海影响的大风过程3次。浪高在2 m以上的海浪过程有10次,2 m以上大浪的天数共计38 d。我国北部及东部海域升温明显,从北到南的海面温度梯度减小。西北太平洋和南海有9个台风活动,其中台风“烟花”造成近海一次范围广、时间长、风力大的大风过程。  相似文献

The Hangzhou Bay faces frequent threats from typhoon-induced storm surge and has attracted considerable attentions of coastal researchers and environmental workers. A three-dimensional storm surge model system based on Finite-Volume Coastal Ocean Model (FVCOM) and analytical cyclone model is applied to investigate the hydrodynamic response in the Hangzhou Bay to tropical typhoon. This model has been used to reproduce the storm surge generated by Typhoon Agnes (No. 8114) and the simulated wind field and water elevations have been compared with the available field observations. A series of numerical experimental cases have been conducted to study the effects of land reclamation project (shoreline relocation and seabed deformation) and cyclonic parameters (minimal central pressure (MCP), radius to maximal wind (RMW) and translation speed (TS)) on the hydrodynamics in the Hangzhou Bay. The results show that the shoreline relocation and seabed deformation could generate much higher storm surge in the vicinity of reclamation project with the shoreline relocation making main contribution (about 70%) to this increase. It is found that among the cyclonic parameters, RMW is the most important factor affecting the peak surge in the Hangzhou Bay.  相似文献
